It is better if we use bitcoin as currency to buy our needs and as investment because it gives us another way of doubling the value or amount of bitcoin. Investment will do good for me, I don't actually cash out my bitcoin when I do not really need it, I learn to control myself since I am optimistic that the future of bitcoin is great, therefore my actions is more on savings and investing rather than spending.

I am using them as both currency and investment. I'm holding a few btcs, it is a good long term investment opportunity which will be digital asset in future once its value may be considerably increased.. As currency I pay for some services like transfer of money, gambling and some digital goods and services.

the same in my country, bitcoin is in its way here to become the future currency, merchants already started to accept bitcoin in their shop as payment method, we can already pay our bills, reload our mobile phones etc. i believe bitcoin will still continue to grow here

for me bitcoins is just an investment, to be honest i nearly never spend it, i just hold it and hope that it will make me big profit easily

I believe that is more an investment now due to the lack of either physical, or better alternatives for online stores that accept btc. But here in our country we are using btc as currency sometimes, when paying bills and mobile load recharge, so it's really usefull for us...

Yes and the fact is we cannot use it as a currency everywhere like fiat, as there are very limited places that accepts bitcoin either online or offline, so majority of coins are going as an investment.

That is very right. We should use bitcoin with all of its features. There must be no limit. Bitcoin was designed to have us alternatives in using fiat money with added features - we should use it with all its might. Never limit yourself in using bitcoins because there is a lot of convenience and ease of use with bitcoin compared to ordinary fiat money.

Holding does involve a risk too. If you're holding 10BTC and you would've bought them months ago (when the price was $400), you would've had $2k in profit right now. If you would've bought BTC right before the Bitfinex hack and immediately sold it after the theft, you would've had way less bucks in your accounts.

Risk will always be a part of bitcoin journey, either you hold it or sell it you never know what future holds for us, take action according to your convenience and don't go through others beliefs.

Yeah its better to put money in bitcoins instead of saving fiat in banks, as the interest paid by banks is too low but you have saved enough bitcoins for future then you can expect higher profits.
