I use Bitcoin for investments and as a means of payment on the betting sites
Definitely, bitcoin is good in using in sports betting because we can easily transact and we are anonymous betting in such gambling sites, though our countries are ban with bitcoin we are give the opportunity to gamble therefore it is good to use bitcoin in gambling site.

There are a lot of uses of bitcoin. But I think using it for gambling is the least of it. If you just gamble your bitcoin, then you are just losing it for nothing. It is better to invest it or just spend it on something, at least you get something.

Do you use bitcoin as currency? Or you use bitcoin as investment? Or both?
I use bitcoin as currency and i never sell my bitcoin, but i prefer to use bitcoin when price is rising Grin

So, how about you?

Mostly I used it both, of course I'm doing bitcoin as my part time job so I have daily expenses and doing it too investing in the exchange to make it faster in trading.

Its hard to spend it as a currency at a moment  but in future we would be able to do it easily, but as of now the best thing is to invest it in trading sites to make regular profits.
What is important is we will be able to earn because without our earning we cannot spend our bitcoin, nowadays it is hard to spend your bitcoins because there are only few stores online that accepts bitcoin but it is easy to convert your bitcoins to fiat, so problem solve.
Yes we can convert to fiat with a great level of ease but it will make fiat more stronger and not bitcoins and it will always be dependent on fiat which is not a good sign for bitcoin as a currency.
might be good if spend it with bitcoin payment as well supporting bitcoin development will let us all see how this project will grow big just needed to expose it more and more giving people awareness.

I use them for both, currency and  investment.  Sometimes, I make profit with  btc trading and I also buy  with it, mostly digital goods.  And I save good part of it  for the long run...

Using it in both the ways is the best thing to do, if you are able to spend it like an currency then you can go for it and if not better to hold them for future to earn higher profits.

Aside from holding it for future increase in price, might as well invest it to reputable investment vehicles or learn trading and trade it for some alt coins or dollars -just buy low and sell high. The profit will be compounded with your initial amount of bitcoin and when the proper time in the future, if the price of bitcoin will go high, then you will have many profits Smiley

People put their money in bitcoins hoping that they will make good profits from it in future when price goes higher, and if its a pure investment for them then they will never prefer to use it as a currency.

Hey,

I have always preferred to use Bitcoin as in form of investment.
It is always been easy to predict as there are lots of news for bitcoin and blockchain. Any new campaign, projects , deals will obviously hit bitcoins price to increase.

I am holding 1000 dollars worth of BTC now from which cost  900 dollars to buy. I am planning to hold it for a long time with the hope of BTC will increase up to 1000 dollars in the upcoming Year 2017.

2017 will be the year for BTC.

Thank you

That is a good stats, you are at 10% profit.  As of me i havent track my profit because  I also used it as currency and convert some to fiat in order to meet my needs.  Anyway I also think 2017 will be another good year for BTC  just like 2016, thoough therre are hhiccups but well seems bitcoin bounce back already from this problem.

BTC price road to $80k
is too rarely to find an online store or offline store can accept bitcoin in my environment, maybe it's easy in your region but different for me.
at bitcoin it's not purely an investment, have some usefulness in there. but all of it is relies on the owner, what there is want to use bitcoin. but in the different section I holding my bitcoin too.

Yeah i couldn't agree more with you, store which accept bitcoin as payment methods is rare, not every city have like that. So if you decide to just holding your bitcoin it is not problem because you have bitcoin and you can choose how to treat your bitcoin.
Im sure bitcoin can be accepted by many stores in the future.. for now we can use bitcoin for other sense like paying services paying for domain and use for a business like trading.. Bitcoin has a great future.. and i think more adoption will come with bitcoin we need patience so that we can see bitcoin adoption like More Bitcoin atm release for every country.. so that we can withdraw bitcoin fast.. and if we have many ATM bitcoin in every each country more impression more attracted to other business to accept bitcoin because they can also withdraw it easily with Bitcoin ATM.

I personally use bitcoin as an investing tool but use it most of the time to exchange coins or virtual dollars ( neteller, skrill etc) .

Like:

1. I always focused on enjoying the buy-sell spread.
selling at high while buying at low, which is very common.

2. As per current scenario, I preferred to hold only when its value is under 600 dollars. likewise, I just sold BTC when it reached up to $631 ( two days ago)

3. I also love to enjoy the gap between exchange houses which is obviously a good way to make BTC  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I think most people use btcs for  both purposes. As a currency, when they  use it as an payment method  and as an investment , when they  buy and hold, expecting the  currency worth more in the future.
I'm not using bitcoin as currency. I love to have bitcoin only as an investment for my bright future. I believe in Satoshi, till today his concepts are marvelous and getting appreciation by everyone. Hope, bitcoin will be the future of payment system for all the countries, every bitcoin holder will be millionaire then.

I think for now bitcoin is not accepting in local store but expect in the future that there is store locally can accept bitcoin as payment..
I heard that brazil has 150 store accepting bitcoin as payment in any local stores..

This is one good thing about  bitcoin enthusiast.  Being optimistic on everything.   I do believe too that someday, bitcoin transaction will be available in a supermarket near you. Or some grocery store.  We have a convenience store that accept payment for bitcoin, that is the first step, if bitcoin is popular enough in my country, i can see this store accepting bitcoin as payment for their merchandise.  Btw, this store have different branches located all around our country.

It's heresy I know,  but I think bitcoin sucks as a currency.   I keep it as an investment and that's it.  Everything I need to buy,  I can get easier with fiat.  No sense spending bitcoin.
How could you say that bitcoin sucks as currency ? i know we are using bitcoin as currency to invest right ? or to do gambling ? i don't understand why people says that bitcoin is nonsense and noting happen with that if we keep using it but for me bitcoin is everything that world be use soon, and i can get bitcoin too with fiat .

I agree with you. The bitcoin is a good currency. But the main problem with the bitcoin is that it is too volatile.
the volatility is not a bug, it is a feature. the currency of a nation is regulated and one of the goals is to keep volatility small. so you can take this as a sign that bitcoin is not regulated.
