Here I choose other cryptos for betting in casinos and rarely use BTC as a betting option. Then it occurred to me why the casino wouldn't be willing to offer some sort of conversion feature for BTC, at least once we had some wins and wanted to make BTC a withdrawal option, perhaps it would be the first casino to have such a feature or already existed? because I don't play too much in various types of casinos apart from focusing more on playing at Duelbits.

Whatever your preference is, feel free to express why that is and also answer the poll (optionally). It's for research purposes only. Cheesy

For me, it depends if there is no congestion I prefer Bitcoin it doesn't matter to me if the price moves up or down as long as it is confirmed on time but if circumstances force me to use other coins I'm ok with stablecoin, what concern me is the transaction fee and the time of confirmation, a gambler do not want to wait hours for him to play you will end up adding more funds to accelerate the transaction so its better to use stable coins and just trade it to Bitcoin if you win.

I gamble more by making deposits using Bitcoin because that is the money generated from the signature campaign because so far I can say that I have never gambled using money from outside this forum, but I have also used stable coins or altcoins when the only coin in my wallet is available, but more than 70% is Bitcoin.
It's not that fun when we look at the current network fees and also when Bitcoin is going down because the casino will convert it to USD so we will spend more Bitcoin when we want to gamble, for example with $100.
However, I am sure that gamblers have their own preferences and thoughts, so network fees that are high or Bitcoin prices that are cheap or expensive do not prevent them from still choosing BTC.

Bitcoin transactions are sometimes full and jammed when their prices increase and that is the most annoying thing about using bitcoin when you want to gamble, usually I look for other alternatives using stablecoins from the blockchain network which is fast and easy, after all why should I use bitcoin isn't bitcoin the main crypto asset? which has a very expensive value compared to other cryptocurrencies, especially considering that Bitcoin will be halving where supply will also become increasingly scarce.

I think gambling using bitcoin is not the right step but it all depends on the decision of each gambler because sometimes there are people who want to feel more adrenaline when gambling when using bitcoin of course it will increase more because the price is expensive, to be honest, personally I have regretted losing bitcoin When I discovered gambling at that time I spent some bitcoins and coincidentally the price of bitcoin was still relatively cheap, but when I saw the high price now I regretted it a little. lol  Grin

Seeing how bitcoin's fees have gone up a lot, I would assume that with the plethora of options for cheaper transactions, people must be using other options much more. Some might even prefer to use conventional means such a debit or credit cards.

I use Bitcoin every time I deposit at a casino with Tron and Doge as my backup now that the transaction is quite high and takes a lot of time to confirm I shifted to Tron and Doge, I always look on mempool in case there is congestion on transaction there was a time that I ignore the recommended fees and got my funds stuck and I have to RBF it for it to confirm I wasted 5 hours waiting for the transaction to confirm so if there are congestion the best coin or token to use for me is Tron and Doge, I think I'm not the only one using an alternative, whenever there's a congestion.

Yes, when the fee is still cheap. Not, when the fee is expensive like present.

I see no point to force using Bitcoin for gambling, the reason why I choose Bitcoin is since I hold it for long term and most casinos accept it. Not all casinos will accept altcoins that has a cheap fee.

Why would I use the coin with the best "store of value" or the highest hash rate? I prefer to use stable coins that has almost zero volatility and if I win big, I withdraw some and I buy Bitcoin (BTC) with the Fiat.  Grin

I started out playing with Bitcoin and realized that it was a huge mistake. I would much rather play with something else and use the profit from that to buy more bitcoins and then hoard the shit out of it until the Moon hits us hard.  Wink

I used to enjoy gambling with Bitcoin but the transaction fees have become too expensive, and the processing times are too long. It can be frustrating when we don't have enough time to wait, and the amount of Bitcoin we transfer is not significant enough to justify the cost. So Im currently using fiat money since it's faster than bitcoin.
If the mempool is becoming more congested and the fee to get your transaction confirmed is too expensive for you to pay, you can still use free accelerator like ViaBTC which I know to be the only free accelerator that is existing as of now. You can read about it and know the rules required to get your transaction accelerated.

I don't use Bitcoin for gambling. I usually deposit usd for gambling from the starting of gambling. Many gambling website and application has option to deposit your cash in Bitcoin and withdraw in Bitcoin. I never deposit Bitcoin in gambling but many time I withdraw my winning money in Bitcoin. I thik that maybe use of Bitcoin in gambling if this is use of Bitcoin in gambling then i use Bitcoin in gambling.

Like you noted, it’s all about preferences and what the person finds more easy to use at the moment. The bitcoin network is a bit congested at the moment and this has cause the transaction fees to be quite high. People might be put off by the high cost of sending bitcoin to your crypto gambling account and may opt to use other methods that is cheaper and seemingly faster.
When the fees have significantly reduced, you’ll be sure to see a rise in the rate of people who uses bitcoin to gamble.

I will always choose stable coin over bitcoin when there is a market downturn and when transaction fees are high just as we have now. But the reverse is the case when the fees are reduced and are in a bull run. There are some gambling sites that I have tried using my local fiat and it worked without any hassle. Sometimes, I abandon cryptocurrency altogether and use the fiat. Mostly this is due to convivence and my preference. The is not fixed rule.

Either BTC or USDT(TRX) for me, but we all know that the fees are killing us all. So most of the time I switch to USDT to play on crypto based casino. But I also have one option, used fiat locally as we have a local wallet that incorporates online gaming as well. So I can switch on which I prefer the most, but for now since I mentioned about the fees, then I will go to fiat based as the mode of gambling in my end. And then just hold on BTC or at least save them for the bull run. So for smart gamblers, not that we don't like BTC, but we should look for better options right.

In the past, I'm using Bitcoin to bet on gambling sites. However, I've realized that the price of Bitcoin will continue to increase from time to time. I'd rather keep my Bitcoin and let it be stored right now until the next ath. Using Bitcoin in gambling makes me unable to track the amount of money I've already spent. So right now, I prefer using fiat and stablecoin. I am more comfortable using these than Bitcoin. I have also used other crypto in gambling before to avoid high fees.

I prefer stablecoins for gambling just to stay out of the tension of the volatility of the market because if you are using Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency that is highly volatile, you will always be worried about the value of your bankroll dropping at any given time as the market tends to move up and down unpredictably and when that happens and you have $100 worth of Bitcoins in your gambling account, you will only have $50 worth of it remaining.

If you are using a stable coin for your gambling activities, you won't have to worry about all that, and if you have some Bitcoins that you are not spending on gambling, their value might increase over time and then you can convert them and use the money on gambling and you will have more money to gamble with.

I haven't gambled using bitcoin for deposits for a long time, I prefer altcoins because the transaction fees are cheap and fast compared to bitcoin. I'm lazy if I have to wait a long time for my bitcoin deposit to enter my gambling site balance, so I prefer altcoins

I like using Trx the most because I think the transaction fees are very cheap and the WD fees from the gambling site are also cheap. Some gambling sites also provide smaller WD limits if using Trx rather than stablecoin or Bitcoin, such as coins.game which provides a minimum withdrawal limit of 50trx while for usdt the minimum withdrawal is 20usdt

I mainly bet with fiat. But I have tried a few cryptocurrency casinos over time using only Bitcoin, although it was not the time of high fees as it is now. Had it been, I guess I simply wouldn't have bet at crypto casinos, period. The thing is that I play poker with fiat and in cryptocurrency casinos I have played casino games to try and see how they are, but it is not my thing, being EV-games.

I'm expecting that gamblers using alternative cryptocurrencies are more than those gamblers who prefer to use Bitcoin. Of course the number one reason is transaction fee. Using Bitcoin for gambling is costly. Especially if you're usually sending small amounts only to and from your gambling account's wallet, Bitcoin is not the efficient choice. Altcoins are the better option.

And then there's also the reason that Bitcoin is expected to rise high in the coming months. This is another reason why gamblers prefer to keep their Bitcoin rather than gamble them.

because I have Bitcoin at the moment, so that's all I can use. If I am interested in using altcoin because of the low fee, of course, I will exchange it 1st for altcoin before sending it to a gambling site, right? This means I have to spend 2x fee, bitcoin and altcoin to gambling sites. This exception for altcoin user who probably wore it for a long time, maybe better if he should use that. he will spend a lot of fees if exchange it again to bitcoin. I have seen many gambling sites that accepts altcoins, so it's not a big problem if use that for deposit.

No, bitcoin requires a long transaction time and transaction fees are also expensive so I prefer USDT when playing on crypto online gambling sites. I also sometimes still play on local online gambling sites that use fiat currency.

Last time I gambled using TRX and it turned out that the network fees were much cheaper. Maybe in the future I will use TRX for gambling because TRX withdrawal fees are cheaper than USDT if we use Binance
