What ever is cheapest and fastest to move. I rather not gamble with stablecoins as i just need more crypto. And when crypto is moving up i feel like i am losing if i am not making more then the altcoin gains against usdt.

I might use usdt if prices are moving down i can send it via fast L2 like arbitrum, polygon or bsc. But i rather not because that doesn't really differ in anyway from playing in normie fiat money casinos. And i feel we lose something important ideologically, if we move away from real cryptos to stablecoins and fiat money.

I'm making this poll to see what form of payment is the most preferred by people here. Given that gambling is a popular and practical use of bitcoin, I'm interested to see what percentage of people still have it as their preferred funding method and perhaps for what reasons.

Seeing how bitcoin's fees have gone up a lot, I would assume that with the plethora of options for cheaper transactions, people must be using other options much more. Some might even prefer to use conventional means such a debit or credit cards.

Whatever your preference is, feel free to express why that is and also answer the poll (optionally). It's for research purposes only. Cheesy

Other crypto (incl. stables)

Speaking about crypto then the only thing i do make use is on other alts specially on the time that the fees were high specially as of this moment.
Somewhat there are really moments i do make use of my own BTC but not all the time because whenever i do lost up bets on using Bitcoin then it do really hurt so much.
Deep inside i do really know that spending up bitcoin is never been that ideal knowing about its potential and probable increase in price then it is really just
that waste of spending it out.

Somewhat most gamblers doesnt really care about spending as long they are enjoying themselves and thinking that the money they have spent
would really be just that payment for the entertainment that they do get. So it would really vary into each individual yet we do
have that different kind of approach towards things.

I've never gambled online using fiat as I mostly used crypto gambling platform and prefer to gamble locally if doing it that way.
As for I used altcoins and bitcoin for gambling purposes, I mainly used bitcoin for most situation whatever the market it is and even with the high volume transaction and fees, I still use bitcoin with a standard fee and also deposit altcoin and some stablecoins to gamble. Not sure why, but I feel much better gambling with bitcoin as I feel that my strategy works better with it, I mostly play dice and slots with bitcoin. For most case, I only gamble with altcoins and stablecoins thru poker and sportbets.

I’ve used it in the past but I just feel more comfortable using other cryptocurrencies instead of bitcoin. Bitcoin as we all know gives so much dividends if you know how to take care of it and I always make it a point to separate my investments with my leisure, and oftentimes when I use bitcoin I find myself feeling like I blur the line between my money for investments, and for funsies, plus itMs just no fun betting on a currency that is volatile and insecure at times as bitcoin. So I changed my ways and have since used only USDT to bet on games, I found it the most effective, as I could also see how much my earnings accumulate when I gamble.

Since I don't intend to keep my winning in my account for long period in the account I think I just prefer gambling with stable coin such as USDT to avoid any fluctuating of value of price of the money won l. Although I understand the importance to gamble with Bitcoin in period like this because of the increase but I still prefer gambling with stable coins and one thing would again that would influence this choice is the massive increase on the fee to actually fund your account if you are using Bitcoin, no one would want to spend that much to play or gambke when the odd of winning is even very small.

You're correct on this, I shifted to coins that will confirmed in seconds or minutes and with the lowest fees possible, Bitcoin transactions for the last two weeks have been quite annoying I have one transaction that took two days to confirm and I have to accelerate it with additional fees, but I always shift to using Bitcoin when things normalize in the blockchain, majority of gamblers preferred to use Bitcoin traditionally.
But there should be a backup in case there's congestion on the network or you have to defer or delay playing and wait for things to get better, I never use credit cards in all my betting ventures for privacy, those who do I think have trusted the platform they are playing.

For me, Simply and honestly if the casino that I chose has that feature where you can turn your Bitcoin or any other not stable coin into USD or any other currency, I would deposit with bitcoin as a priority so I don’t trade my Bitcoin. But in the other case, where the casino doesn’t change the Bitcoin into a currency sold and showing it like bitcoin or satoshies, I can’t calculate every time and sometimes you bet more or less than what you wanted.
In conclusion, gambling has nothing to do with the type of crypto you deposit. But, preferably don’t trade your bitcoin for other more volatility coins.

With the price of Bitcoin now, it's easier to gamble with it because every sats that's being used for betting seems to be worth it. And you won't mind the quantity on how much it is especially if you're looking at the price and value of it based on USD. That's why it's easier for me if I'll use Bitcoin. But I am not closing doors in the use of other altcoins that doesn't have much value IMO.

I'm done doing fiat gambling but my friends are encouraging me because they're not in crypto casinos and they are not interested on diving here. But the same feeling for me to them that I am no longer interested with it because it's harder to withdraw when you get tracked by the bank or the apps that you mostly use for withdrawals, I might even get a red flag from them because it's known that they don't like source from gambling or casinos.

I often use Bitcoin for gambling because it's convenient, but when my budget for playing runs out and transaction fees increase, that's when I turn to using altcoins. Of course, it also depends on the platform's support.
I tried using my debit card once for gambling when I ran out of available crypto at that time, and I wanted to continue playing because of promotions. However, that only happened once and didn't happen again.
So, I prefer crypto because I feel more in control and secure using it.

I feel is a little bit waste to gamble with bitcoin when I'm suppose to accumulate it especially during this bull season. So I will prefer to invest btc by buying and hodling and not to use it to gamble. Although when you win and you receive bitcoin as winning, it gives you good value but to risk it away in gambling gives a second thought.

Another factor to consider is the fee for transaction. It is usually higher with bitcoin so using usdt makes it more easier.

I use Litecoin to play, this is because it has very low fees and the withdrawal amount on stake.com has a low withdrawal amount. So it's really worth it to deposit $10, play and when or if I win something, I immediately withdraw it and as the withdrawal amount is very low and the fees are also very low, so it's worth it. in stake the minimum withdrawal for litecoin is 3$ while in the case of bitcoin the minimum withdrawal amount is 7$ and it will be subtracted 2.50$ this is if I exceed for my case that I bet with low amounts of money, but still these values are very low in stake

in other casinos the minimum withdrawal amount is very high and has higher fees, which is why in my opinion playing at stake has many advantages, see that in the case of USDT the minimum withdrawal amount is 2.50 and has a fee of 1 USDT, in my opinion, pays off a lot. now when people deposit in cryptocurrencies in casinos while the market is rising, then it is necessary to be careful because when the market drops a lot then the bank's money will also reduce a lot, if the person plays with cryptocurrencies, the best option is to be playing when the market is falling and take advantage while the market is rising

the majority of my gambling capital is USDT based on tron, that's because tron fees are quite cheap compared to btc fee, I've also been used to using it for a long time, apart from tron I also gamble quite often with Bitcoin Cash and dogecoin, I rarely use btc in my gambling because I invest with bitcoin and not using it until my target price is reached, in fact I often buy bitcoin when I win gambling. btw, I once wanted to try gambling using the Lightning Network, but I saw that not many crypto gambling sites accept it.

A straight answer to your question would be a Yes, in crypto gambling most persons still use Bitcoin but the most common I have come across is USDT that has been the common one I've found amongst gamblers mostly on most crypto gambling platforms but some still uses Bitcoin.

Personally I use USDT and Fiat but it varies depending on the gambling platform I'm using, sometimes for the sake of convenience I just use fiat because it's most compatible with my card most times but if my picks for the day have their options on the crypto platform I wouldn't mind I will fund my wallet and gamble with the crypto platform, so basically it's a mix and whenever I choose to use crypto I use USDT

You know, I was just thinking about this the other day.  With how high Bitcoin fees have gotten lately, I gotta imagine it's making folks think twice about using it for online gambling.  I mean, one day the fees are through the roof then the next day they've dropped down again.  It's been a real rollercoaster ride.

And with those swings in fees, it makes you wonder if people are sticking with Bitcoin or maybe going back to credit cards more often.  Im curious to see which way the wind is blowing these days and  are the credit card companies stealing back some of the gambling transactions as folks get fed up with the unpredictable Bitcoin fees? Or are crypto die-hards sticking it out anyway since they love Bitcoin so much?

I have only used the bitcoin payment method to fund my casino account a few times, and if I can think well, I can recall all the occasions that I did that. I have been making use of fait deposit, and most times I make use of altcoins like LTE and USDT on the tron network. This is due to the fast deposit this option allows me to make, and the confirmation doesn't take much of a time for it to arrive in my betting account, unlike a bitcoin deposit, which takes up to 2–3 confirmations depending on the casino being used.

With the high rate on the bitcoin transaction fee, I will not even consider using it to fund my betting account unless I'm not ready to place a bet that very day, because for the transaction to proceed, I will either need to pay more of the fee or wait until the transaction gets confirmed, which means if one wants to bet on a particular sport game, the game might end up starting and at the same time ending before the deposit will arrive.

I think the use of stable coin is preferable when gambling than using Bitcoin since the market is volatile and anything can happen suddenly that could reduce of increase the worth of our Bitcoin. Although everyone has there own choice and the best coin they preferred to use when gambling online especially for the crypto casinos.

Most time we tend to deposit our funds in Bitcoin but it could be converted to fiat just like few casino I have seen. They would convert your coin into fiat so that it will enable you to gamble in your local currency but withdrawal is still in cryptocurrency which the value is going to be converted to the same worth of any available coin you want to use to withdraw.

Most of the time yes during the bear market but right now I prefer to hold it and used a stablecoin for my gambling activities so its value will remain and I can still increase my number of games. The market is rising again and many prefer not to use Bitcoin for now because of its growing value, I guess the decision to use crypto will vary depending on the market trend and many will sure look for alternatives.

I had some experience with this in the stake.com itself, because I had some game in the Hi-Low of the stake and my all bet was made on the gambling betting using the bitcoin. The return also made on the bitcoin, but to play using the bitcoin. You should need of the more guts in the game using the bitcoin.Because by keeping the same bitcoin you can easy earn some dollars from the bitcoin. So only few use that bitcoin as the mode for the transaction. But most of the gambler will use of the Usdt for betting in the gambling sites. Some gambler use the credit cards in the gambling which was miss used by their friends or children to play gambling game.

i won't say most gamblers are using usdt because we don't have stats on this particular subject. but from my end, i guess, am always using btc for convenience purposes. as stake is paying btc for their sig campaign, you can already use it to bet your games. but if for instance i need to fund other casinos, i would use other alts like xrp or ltc, as they have relatively cheap fees esp these days. or usdt (trx). or whichever is convenient for me at that time.

Presently right now sending BTC to a gambling site is actually risky because of the network congestion, though I don't regularly gamble with bitcoin rather I use my local currency to gamble at least it ease stress of waiting for long waiting confirmation, I could remember my bad experience while I intended to make deposit with bitcoin which the game I about to place a bet just have few minutes to start so I quickly sent payment think it would confirm within 5 to 10 minutes time I was shocked that the transaction didn't confirmed and the game already started playing I have no option than to wait till it confirmed.

I was actually mad over it because what I predicted really came to pass and I was mad over everything why I couldn't make my deposit earlier than before I have the game, and someone like me don't like leaving money inside betting site maybe I could be tempted to bet unplanned games were I might waste that funds so what I mostly does is that whenever I am not sure of the game I won't deposit till I am well convinced about the out of the game though we knows that gambling are not 100 % correct but needs to be convinced about the outcome before placing bet.
