This is the only way to protect your portfolio. Diversification should be used not only for coins, but for exchanges as well, because if something goes wrong with one exchange, you would always have an alternative solution.

Diversified investments are very good, but asset allocation must exceed 80% of the funds invested in Bitcoin or mainstream coins. The rest of the rest can be considered part of the investment altcoin, but these altcoins must be altcoin that can survive in the future cryptocurrency market.

Diversification are very important but if you just diversify in crypto, you are not safe because nothing escapes in last year's bear period.
Crypto investing is considered high risk, therefore if you are looking to minimize that risk, you should invest your money in stocks where the market are stable unlike in crypto where it's so volatile. It's not good for day traders when price is going down but holding can save your if you do not panic.

It all depends on your believe , if those weak token are going in bull direction and the one you hoding is about going sideway then you can move to the other one but I see diversified as spreading the funds and not waiting to let one pump or dump to follow all at same time in case one do dump then the other will recurb the lost.

Due to the volatility in the crypto market, it is impossible to work with only one coin. Be sure to use diversification, invest your money in different coins. And you definitely need to invest in reliable coins, in the potential of which you believe - in order to reduce the possible risks for investors.

Minimizing the risk in this way has become simply necessary. Therefore, now updating information on the proper distribution of investments can significantly save your losses. I think that every investor understands this.

Always and everywhere, because without diversification it is impossible to reach even a little profit. You need to diversify your portfolio to avoid the risks of getting tricked and making a false investment decision.

I have long been faced with such a concept as portfolio diversification, even before I began to get involved in cryptocurrencies and understand what is at stake here. In cryptocurrency to earn you need to trade, just investing in coins you earn but it will be a year, two, three!! And everyone needs money to meet their life needs, so the ideal solution for a crypto-enthusiast is to have a portfolio with 10 top coins and have deposits on exchanges for everyday transactions.

Typically for me investing in 3-5 projects is the way to go. Some diversification, but investing in 20+ projects will probably kill your expected ROI on projects you invest in.

yes it is important to diversify your investment as it is always said that do not keep your eggs at one place but it is also true just to be safe we can keep it anywhere. i mean to say that we need to diversify funds but after making all the research and study of different altcoins.
Diversification makes sense in many markets but when it comes to cryptocurrencies I do not agree with it, diversification is a way to reduce your risk so if something happens to the asset in which you are investing you do not lose all your money, but any investment in a coin other than bitcoin only serves to increase your risk and that means that is better to invest everything in bitcoin.

I have always diversified my risks in all areas of activity in the field of cryptocurrencies. Diversify it altcoins or other coins and tokens occupation is quite controversial, since it does not bring significant results.

Sure I am. It's a first rule of saving money. Not only while buying crypto, but also hold them on a few exchanges. Also I have a few wallets for bounty. And in a case of some of mine funds will be stolen or lost. I will recover them with a bounty. The last one is from Huobi Russia. More than sure this guys will give a good profit in a future. So I created for them a new wallet. It's just a way of saving money.
holding is very important, especially when a coin has just entered the market or has just been registered with a few exchangers, especially small exchangers that have little volume because the coins still have many opportunities to have a higher price, even when the price is high the exchange but actually the price of the coin is still not at its peak

Diversification is one of the good strategies for investing in cryptocurrency because every coins are highly volatile and with this strategies you can avoid loss of your money or even give you much better profits but take in mind that you must be very picky on choosing a coins and always make a research first.

For example, you have some altcoin (in my case it's Metaverse ETP) and you expect it to grow. But in a weak market, this altcoin behaves like bull and you have the opportunity now to sell it and buy an asset that looks weak in the market (for example Qash, Tierion, Nem, Odyssey or Republic Protocol) in order to get the greatest possible profit. Or leave a strong asset and wait for its further growth. What do you think about this?
Of course diversification in this market is required, a lot of scams and coins that will not rise more, so competent diversification is needed , I think now you can buy coins and choose different

Normally, I plan to sell it in advance, usually after a rise or fall of 18%. I think this is the limit of the damage I can bear, and I am not very greedy.
As long as you can bare with your plans and stay with your strategy then you are good to go, you are good to go by following your instinct, investment will be good  splitting your assets and keep your plans to be intact never to be a greedy one when you are seeing pump movements.

Well, i think diversification is important to reduce the loss of your investment.
If you just focus on 1 cryptocurrency, you will gain much profit if the coin is good in the market indeed, but this is crypto, nothing is 100% certain.
Diversify your investment and you will be spared from huge loss in the future due the volatility and uncertainty of cryptocurrency.
