The strategy of which the author says is possible in an unstable market. When the prices of all the top crypto-currencies fall, you need to look closely at the little-known coins that can have a price increase that increases exponentially. That is, while everyone is trading or walking the famous coins and get a small profit, you can get a big profit with a small investment.

Diversification depends on how much you want to invest ,for example a friend of mine has more than 12 altcoins in his portfolio and he invested 200$ each on this altcoins but I never had that much so I still diversify with what I have left ,I have 100$ worth of Apollo currency and 70$ on others like etc ,etn, pundix ,holo ,what I'm avoiding is I don't want to put my eggs in one basket

Using decervations will help us hold a few coins. A good strategy is to buy coins when prices are low and sell coins when prices are pumping. To buy my coins there are more instructions for buying coins with low volume. But be careful when buying coins. And when the prices pump I think the results will be even greater.

For example, you have some altcoin (in my case it's Metaverse ETP) and you expect it to grow. But in a weak market, this altcoin behaves like bull and you have the opportunity now to sell it and buy an asset that looks weak in the market (for example Qash, Tierion, Nem, Odyssey or Republic Protocol) in order to get the greatest possible profit. Or leave a strong asset and wait for its further growth. What do you think about this?

In my opinion both strategies are valuable, and so it is useful to use a part of your funds to search for greater profits buying assets that look weak in the market, but also keep a part in strong projects. In my opinion, a good diversification is very important for a successful portfolio.

If we start to diversify our coin, we must have bitcoin first. Bitcoin is liquid and main crypto in market. I am agree diversification is important but we should carefull when decide buying altcoin because many altcoin are pump and dump project

I've been using this effective strategy since the day I started investing in cryptocurrencies. Diversification prevent investors from total loss because they bought some selected coins instead of only one. Cryptocurrencies and tokens had also different time of price uptrends so if one coin fall the other one rises. Even during bear market, the price of some coins are still going up and they can't not easily dragged by declining prices of some leading coins that causes the bearish condition of the market.

Agree, with diversification, when bear market come, our portfolio not too drop the value. By diversification, we reducing risk from bigger losses and makes us more calm

Of course, I use diversification, but I am not a professional and I think that this term can really describe a very strong passion of people to keep their deposit. Therefore, this is the right process to describe risk minimization.

This can depend on your trading strategy. But overall, yes, you should try to have a diverse portofolio in order to increase your success chances.

It is necessary to diverse your asset in cryptocurrency because you won't know what will happening on your coins.
Even in trading, i think we need to using multiple coins to minimize the risks we take.
Put all of your eggs in a single basket is not a good think to do.

Yeah and it is the formost thing to achieve success in crypto world. Diversification provide strength to your portfolio that when some coin go down other will pickup to cover your loss. Second when you invest highly in top 20 coin then small coin can give you multiple return in small span of time. Kal this is possible only through diversification.

I use diversification in order not to be at a loss, to buy in my opinion the crime of coins and without fanaticism )
Why is it a crime? I disagree. I think that diversifying is a good way to deal with having a selection of coins because when some go down others go up so you don't lose as much.
Don't bother asking him, just check his posting history and you will understand why he post like that.
Most of his posts are just spam IMO, most are one liners which for me not considered post with substance, he created 1141 posts and have not receive any single merit for over a year in this forum already.

for now I leave assets that are no longer developing and start from the bottom again with new coins that have good potential to grow in the coming year.
Good strategy indeed, but needs to be well driven as long as you really believe that those assets of yours are no longer gaining interest it's better to sell it out and try exploring with new ones that have a good momentum, there's always positive outcome when you really doing your research, keep being updated and select those coins who can bring benefits.

Dealing with your knowledge, so when you go and buy another assets you will have a big edge to gain and not being trapped.

It seems to be a logical strategy now. Remove all rubbish which can not grow anymore and focus on more certain and lasting things

I hardly use diversification and at the same time I understand how diversification important is. It is a bit controversial, but I can't change my mind and start doing diversification

It depends on how I got this asset. If it was a bounty reward, I would prefer hold. If it was an investment, it would be possible to consider the option of selling the asset and acquiring a more promising asset.

Diversification can save your capital. I think every investor should use this strategy. This is a very important time when the market is falling.

If you can handle going broke you can also go all in on one thing, but it's not really a sound strategy. Wink
I think that many users of cryptocurrency went all in at the end of 2017, when in order to invest profitably in cryptocurrency they sold real estate and took loans. This misstep brought them some losses.
