I'll go for a yes. As it will fall to "interesting" and "useful" base on the description theymos provide for a factoid.

Does anyone have any suggestions for new factoids?

 - They should be less than about 300 visible characters long.
 - They can contain links and basic styling.
 - A random forum user reading a random factoid should have a good chance of thinking that it was interesting, funny, or useful.

But for me it would be better if the factoid will not sounds as an ad. Like eureka, facts and studies, maybe like...

"Did you know that America's electronics use more energy than Bitcoin. For more facts about Bitcoin Proof of Work mining check Bitcoincleanup.com"

Or same in the BPIP factoids format.
"Did you know that Bitcoin Proof of Work Mining is actually **Good for the environment?"
"Did you know that Most of Bitcoin PoW environment myths are not true?"

Well, that just for me though, most of the quoted above are taken from the website btw...

Factoid – An inaccurate statement or statistic believed to be true because of broad repetition, especially if cited in the media.

*I had to look it up in the dictionary myself*
That is where contextual meaning comes in because a word can have more than one meaning, in the context of this discussion and in the forum, factoid means:
Quote
A brief, somewhat interesting fact.

I think you took it for granted that everyone knows the meaning of "factoid" and that those who don't are likely to look up it's meaning. It will be a good place to lay the definition first.

I like it this way

Quote
BitcoinCleanup.com: Debunking false claims of Proof of Work Bitcoin causing climate change

I'll consider making that adjustment if a majority of people agree to it.

I don't see any reason to not vote "Yes" and I believe everyone do so, except bounty hunters who fell in love with shitcoins. I'm looking to see Bitcoincleanup factoid will comes up, hope theymos will add it ASAP.

I find this site https://endthefud.org/ below of Bitcoincleanup site, I think it's worth to mention since it contains a lot information that most people doesn't know due to fake news. It could be a factoid in this forum too.

I asked Theymos if I can get a factoid for BitcoinCleanup, and he directed me here, so here we are.
The factoid that is going to be added is:

Quote
BitcoinCleanup.com: Debunking false claims of Proof of Work causing climate change

The poll tells whether or not somebody wants a factoid for this at all, not if someone likes the wording of this particular factoid. If you have a suggestion for a modification of the factoid text, then post it here.

This poll will expire in 2 weeks and the results will be taken from that time.

EDIT:

This is the new factoid:
