On days like yesterday, I completely stop watching the prices for a couple of days.
I check it out everyday as well, sometimes a few times a day. Not just my portfolio but all of the stock market, sometimes I take quick notes about some tremendous activity but I usually don't cash out before my coins reach my target value.
I do not check the prices daily because I am a long term investor and my limit is to hold my Alt till the time I feel I earn in millions. This thing keeps me away from worries about the worth of my portfolio. What is the point of checking the prices daily? Yes if you are a daily trader and intend to earn on daily basis, then it is the only job for you to keep checking on daily basis.

When my portfolio was full of different coins, I watched every day 500 times for courses and for how the amount on my wallet changes. When the grandiose drain of the whole market started, I also sold a little bit, in the end I sold everything. Now I have bought one coin (TEL). I understand that this investment is for a long time, so I follow once or twice a month with the price.

Everyday, I watch the price of the coin that I have bought. But sometimes this could cause FUD or FOMO if the coin pump or dump tremendously. I sold my coins when I saw the price go up, but missed out the huger profit.

Before I spent like 4-5 hours just sitting and watching the price go up and down and waiting for the right time to strike a deal. That causes tremendous pressure and stress on me that I suffered vertigo attacks for the first time in my life. That was last year, now what I only do is buy and just wait for some news about my investment. If I am not satisfied with the news I move on to other tasks that are important for me.
I used to watch the price of my altcoins everyday. I have Kucoin and Binance app installed, where I can check the price easily on my cellphone. And I used to check every a few hours. Later I decided to delete those two apps and forget about my coins. Now I check every a few months just to make sure my coins are still there
but I can not avoid my obsession to be continuously observing the behavior of the markets throughout the day. There are times I can not sleep or I wake up in the early morning just to observe the price of my cryptos. I know I must find some way to overcome this harmful trend, but I have not found it yet.

Same here buddy, i usually check my coins and other coins everyday to find out which coin is moving or not. You know it is very stressful knowing that your coin's value has dropped and you see other coin rise but that is the way it is in crypto world.
For me, I always check it daily if my altcoins going pump or dump. Watching the chart is good because we see it if we hold or sell our altcoins.
Yes, I do this several times a day. But I do not think that this is bad. I just want to monitor my investment portfolio in order to have time to sell coins expensive.
for now maybe yes because I am still a beginner so afraid if at any time the price of coins down so I'm ready to sell my assets before the result is declining.
It is better to invest in that coins the future and the target time of which you will know if you are new. This will bring a confirm benefit at the targetted time.I am a few months older in investment and I often invest in those which have a better future ahead, but still it is my habit that I visit the coin rates daily and take a look on it daily because I am not a millionaire and cannot wait for long. I visit the rates in order to look that what is happening and when will I get the profit.

In my case if prices goes down I don't look at my coins at all.even I don't like to go to coinmarket cap.but if price goes up that the time I'm watching my portfolio. I think if you watch the price of your coin everyday, it will put pressure on your emotion.

It's kind of addiction i guess. It's like smoking. Every half an hour i am checking the situation

I think that check the price and read news everyday is the good way to get information. It's normal for everyone.

I have a blockfolio application in my phone and I used it to track my investment daily. I have seriously benefits from that and it has helped me to make some useful investments decisions. I don't follow are view my altcoins investment daily from the trading platforms but from the app and that reduces tension in the ways price fluctuations.
