Out of curiosity, I've search whether there are any Bitcoin or cryptocurrency related movie or series on Netflix and guess what... I've found one!

Banking on Bitcoin is a good movie but almost three years old. The information in it is partly from the years 2014 and 2015. A very long time in the blockchain area. There are newer movies, documentaries and series about Bitcoin. Time ago, I created a collection thread where Banking on Bitcoin is listed.

I haven't watched the documentary but based on your opinion I am thinking about watching it. If Netflix was the one who made this documentary, I would say it would really or I mean it could raise the awareness about cryptocurrency. Ain't say bitcoin is a trend but it's actually a technology that will change the game sooner and later. Blockchain technology is something that will change one of the greatest industry which is financial technology.
The documentary regarding bitcoin is a great and interesting idea and its is an effective way to spread the positive side of Bitcoin by educating people regarding its vision, benefits and usability as a currency it can provide for any business or individual which are important facts that many Citizens in countries doesn't know about and to change that these kind of creations through media can be very effective socially with the current digital marketing trend
It seems like this film is interesting to watch. Although basically, this film presents a documentary about bitcoin it seems there are some parts that make this film feel less interesting. Maybe if there is a film like this in the future, it would be nice if it was inserted into the development of financial technology. For example, like "In Time". 
The more documentary about crypto being create, the more attention can be gather from it.
Of course it's a positive value for cryptocurrency especially with current situation, bitcoin IMO already reach the lowest value trend and I can see a bouncing momentum happen right now, not just for bitcoin but also all crypto !

Bitcoin is very popular now in which its already recognized as another currency in many countries therefore that even if we could not able to watch this documentary film but Bitcoin is already in famous and respected encyclopedias all over the world for our easy research and complete learning all about Bitcoin.
It is popular in entire world so many peoples are trying to buy and hold this coin. Is this really respected in future economic development at the same time too many hacking issues also possible on improper guidance. So we must start from school then only future community is know the exact information of Bitcoin. I think two years ago I saw this trailer but I didn't see this video.

These documentaries are good for noobs that know nothing about bitcoin. The only useful videos now for traders are on youtube as prices fluctuate too quickly to make a documentary

I'll watched this, too next in line after watching banking on bitcoin. But I guess, I will just skip Banking on Bitcoin since the Op said it is all about how the bitcoin started, etc. Since I've known how it got started.
In fact, I have not been aware of it until now and now I am looking at the trailer and I will definitely watch the movie. I have watched many movies like '' Money never sleeps '', '' The wolf of wall street '', but not just about Bitcoin.
A documentary like this will drown in the massive amount of content that are available on Netflix at the moment. I watched it when it was first released, because I got a notification on email and because I watch documentaries regularly. Netflix have a built-in system to present you with content, based on your viewing history, so you might miss a good documentary like this, if you do not watch documentaries. 
Bitcoin was at a ATH when this was released on Netflix, so I think it is time to develop a new documentary to be viewed with the next ATH.

This is one of the worse one. I prefer rise and rise of bitcoin.Better presented, better content.
there are more than one ,in the documentary series "Explained" the first episode is dedicated to cryptocurrencies. Look at it is interesting.
This was one of the first feature long documentaries all about bitcoin and one of the first ones I remember watching back when it came out.
The latest news type ones I remember were from msnbc showing people who went fully into bitcoin and trying to live off of it.
There was one guy I remember who is living in a tree house in his parents back yard and holds alot of saying he is a crypto millionaire.
I only watched clips of it but should be on the net if you can track them down.

This came out in 2016, you are a little too late to even search for it. Its just alright when it comes to information.

There are a lot better documentaries around. "Bitcoin: The End of Money As We Know It", "Life on Bitcoin" and the first documentary I watched long time ago, Rise and Rise of Bitcoin.
