Out of curiosity, I've search whether there are any Bitcoin or cryptocurrency related movie or series on Netflix and guess what... I've found one!

"Banking on Bitcoin" is a 90-minute documentary about how Bitcoin started and how it became what it is today. For me, it is a useful source of information for beginners, especially to understand the basics such as what Bitcoin is and how does it work. That's why I really think, this is a worth watching one.

Have you already seen it? What can you say? Do you think that such film can raise awareness of the trend? If you are yet to watch, Banking on Bitcoin is available on Netflix and YouTube. There are, for sure, free ways to watch it, up to you to search for it Wink

This came out in 2016, you are a little too late to even search for it. Its just alright when it comes to information. There are a lot better documentaries around. "Bitcoin: The End of Money As We Know It", "Life on Bitcoin" and the first documentary I watched long time ago, Rise and Rise of Bitcoin.

I visited your site and I find it awesome! Linking to everything regarding and where Bitcoin can be used is a great idea!
Thanks! Appreciate it.

The one I linked above is from YouTube Movies, you need to rent or buy the film to be able to watch the full one with closed captioning (I avoid linking people to pirated ones).
Oh whoops. Thought it was a free documentary at first. Removed the links on my reply. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for this material, it can be pretty good probably to send to clueless people about the subject who have the attention span to watch it complete. However, it's really hard to know who do it's probably better to just send it.

I will watch it tomorrow or tuesday. Then i'll say if i liked it.

P.S. The YouTube video you've linked is the trailer. not the full documentary.

I would link each of the documentaries on my list here but unfortunately I'm on mobile currently.

EDIT: removed the links
