If you can add a second/side job into your life without causing detriment to existing factors in your lifestyle, then why not? Work harder, plan smarter, progress faster! If you manage to balance something new alongside everything else in your life, there's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't end up better off or more financially stable, if combined with financially intelligent/responsible.

There are no way to find a side jobs that you wont sacrificing any , like your time , sleep or energy because my self right now even i do work remotely as well as sidehustle i still don't have time to play on my child and also lack of sleep which you really need to sacrifice those things for you to achieve those things. Lucky those people who can still manage their time but again don't go over it that your health will got affected.
I can feel you.

Currently, I have 2 jobs because like many others are saying here, only one source of income isn't enough for the whole household to survive. Yes all of us here in the house are working (but I'm the one who's working from home), but still I prefer having a 2nd source of income just incase my main source of income unfortunately ends up for whatever reason it is.

Like you, I already sacrificed my sleeping time, and there are times where I only sleep 5-6 hours a day because aside from my work, I'm also the one doing the household chores since I'm the only one who's in the house all the time. I wonder how much sleep I can get whenever we will have our own baby. This is also the reason why I'm putting most of my money now in the stock market. I have a specific target where I want to earn X amount of money every month thru dividends. It will be a huge amount for sure, but I know I can reach that. Sacrifice first before comfortability.

Congratulations in advance! For sure, if you are sleeping around 6 hours, it would be cut into 4 hours as you need to wake up to take care of your baby and your partner. A few months after giving birth, it is really hard and there is for sure a lack of sleep, as I've experienced this before, but again, you are happy and you will not feel tired as you will always be motivated. I will be wishing you good health, both mentally and physically, as our work is very draining, and I hope this will be fruitful to us.

Just like the adage says... Do not put your egg in one basket. It is not just an adage but it reflects the reality. No matter how much you think you are earning should not stop someone from having a side job. Remember, there's no comfortability in life unless you choose to ignore because as you earning increases, your expenditure increase as well. Having a side job is not peculiar to any class but recommended for all irrespective of your current earning.

Our main goal is to do a side job/business, of course, to increase income, if there is no increase in income then it is better to sleep or exercise, currently I am also doing a side job/business such as selling online, raising fish and so on, the results can certainly improve income but not significantly.

some people may prefer their main / online work depending on which section they like, I prefer to do work online than offline, but opening a business as you say is also not a bad idea, basically if it adds to our income I will do it.

i do part time job like you do and do it through online all/mostly, because i'm used to living here so it's easier to get online job that you mentioned, because finding real world job in my country maybe more difficult now that i'm over 25 years old, so they will look for a younger one.

It is also better if you have time to learn new skills or improve yourself, because that can attract another source of income in case you need it. Imagine when the pandemic hit, a lot of people learned new skills as they had a lot of free time and were bored. That is why they learned new skills, which they mostly used now as a side hustle online that can help us financially.
Many had to learn something new, not because they were bored, but because they needed to find a source of income, since they were left without work.

When the daily schedule is planned, it is not always possible to find time to learn something new, or rather, if we have free time, we want to relax a little, because we are constantly busy in the routine. And as it often happens, we start doing something only when we have no other options. But of course, those who plan ahead will always have an advantage.

To make a living, we must work. In uncertain days like now facing the global economic downturn, a stable job with high income becomes a scarcity. A side job or business seems like more necessary than ever, which can minimize the risks of losing your current job, ending up pennyless. However, a side job/business also takes time and efforts and can never be attained whenever we need it. What did you do or will you do in order to ensure your finanical stability despite all unfavorable circumstances ?
In my Opinion Diversifying income sources and having a practical financial plan can help ensure financial stability in uncertain times.it's essential to have a realistic and practical financial plan that takes into account your current income, expenses, and savings. This can help you identify areas where you can cut back on expenses and increase your savings to create a financial buffer for unforeseen circumstances.

If you are doing a side job with existing job then defiantly it will take your time and energy that is meant for your family and for yourself. If you have a full time job then go for options like participating in some bounty here on bitcointalk.org that can give you good return after every week or month. Such type of work wont effect time reserved for your family and also your sleep. If you do a side job apart from your full time job then surely your health will deteriorate in the long run. Money is essential for good life but it must not come at the cost of your health and happiness.

I don't know the name of the person but my elders say that must find more than 2 two sources of income and never tell the exact amount of money you earn not to anyone including the closest person. It will be beneficial for you in the future so according to my analysis and observations in society Side Jobs work as the antipodes to the poison just (an example). Sometimes extra money saves your dignity and sometimes even life too. So its necessary for everyone to have extra sources of income.
Work from other sources is not a priority even though they get extra income for economic growth, because some people already earn high income from their main job and don't have other time to work extra, so any type of side job must maximize time so they don't force themselves to work without allocating time. for rest and exercise. I'm only suggesting from the fact that my friend worked hard from several side jobs but in the end he had an illness and his money was not enough to restore him to his previous condition.

That's true. Another source of income is indeed a blessing but there is always a balance between work and rest/life. I have also seen many people from my parents' generation who maximized every minute to do any jobs they got but as they grew old, their bodies just could not bear all the sufferings and collapsed. Physical and mental stress must be considered whenever considering a side job. I know it is hard to find that balance but we must do it if we want to live a better life in the long term.

as you said, until now I am still trying to maximize the income from the business that I am currently doing. if one day my job disappears, I still have a business to run. after all, we cannot depend on a single income. we need to have a side job to build a business that can give us profit every day or every month. we do this as a precaution when we lose the main source of income that we have today.

Doing side jobs pays for one to afford a desired standard of living because you will always finds something doing occasionally to help meet up with the financial needs, most of the side jobs takes no much time in doing them, some even comes with a good package that pays than the major income earned per week, some people can't just do without menial jobs because of the profits that comes in through such.

A side job/business can certainly increase income, apart from working I also market the houses around me, this is because many houses are being sold and it is a good opportunity to increase earnings, and since 2023 I have sold 3 units of houses and if the sum of the commissions that I get is equivalent to a year's salary that I receive.
That is a very reasonable commission for you to receive, because selling a house is not an easy job and not just anyone wants to buy a house unless the price is really cheap. Successfully marketing three housing units this year, which generally hasn't been running for too long, is a very extraordinary thing, especially if the commission can be equivalent to your salary for a year of work.

I think it's a very decent side job for you to run by taking advantage of the conditions in your own neighborhood where you say there are lots of houses for sale. Because now to get a side job, you also have to be able to see opportunities so you can use them to get that job, which of course can increase your income.

Having more side jobs, especially in this day and age when so many people are switching to online employment, will still help you financially, in my opinion. A business, however, is still the best option for long-term success. We can't foretell what will happen in our lives or whether the current global financial crisis will still affect us, so just do your part to save and make plans for how to increase your income.
increasing income through side jobs can indeed help our financial condition to be better. but we also have to control our rest time. that is, don't let side jobs make you not have enough time to rest, such as lack of sleep. but at this time there are indeed more side jobs that can be done through online jobs that can be done even while we are relaxing and resting. Side jobs now are different from jobs in the past which only relied on physical side jobs that can make us more tired and have less time to rest. and we must not forget that health must be the main thing to be maintained. because health is our most valuable asset.

What did you do or will you do in order to ensure your finanical stability despite all unfavorable circumstances ?
Anyone with only one source of income or depending on only one source of income for survival is making a huge mistake regardless of how huge their salary in their current job. Side business no matter how small it is, hence it generates income on a daily basis is better than having just one source. I had a friend  who was working in telecommunication company, he had no other business aside from his work, he has three kids. Something happened in his work place and he was sacked, gradually he began to spend his little savings to a point where he had nothing and it was hard for him to get another job. He sold most of his properties just to survive. In conclusion, if he had a small business aside his work, he wont have go so broke. So i learnt from his mistake and today I have a little business aside from what I do.
So side business equals financial stability.
