Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

Haven't heard one before. But I hope someone does operate a bank for bitcoins so we can also store our beloved profits there. I just hope it doesn't turn out like some fiat bank where they take advantage of your money and use it for themselves.

I live in the continent of Asia. Bitcoin is illegal here, so banks do not accept Bitcoin directly.

I am also from Asia.In some Asian countries, Bitcoin is legal.Even I had a Mining Setup and earning some dollar from that.

I don't think that there are any banks that would accept bitcoin, for the simple reason that banks only accept money that has physical form and we all know that bitcoin has no physical form because it is only accessible through the internet.
I live in the country close to Russia. bitcoin can't be bought in the ATM as in Norway here. most likely, the cryptocurrency will be able to destroy paper money and the states of it are afraid.

In my country there is no single bank that accepts bitcoin because they are scared to all crypto currency. Only some institutions and platforms that buy bitcoin for a low price with our country's currency. And I think that there will be no banks accepting bitcoin even in the future. Cheesy

For now i think there are no banks that accept bitcoin directly but exchanging bitcoin into real money then banks may accept it. I guess in the future some banks will open up for digital currency.

there is a military bank for soldiers that allow them to keep a btc balance. I saw the article a long time ago, and I pretty damnded certain of it, but I have looked for this article multiple times subsequently and have been unable to find it. it was a pilot program, to my understanding users were able to deposit bitcoin, convert to USD on the "platform". and withdraw btc normally (essentially, it was a bitcoin wallet attached to a bank account). my only guess is that it got scrapped before it went live; this would explain why we havent ( me at least) heard any thing about it since then.

I think it is not feasible, no banks has the guts to invest in btc, because banks do not have their own money to invest with, most of their money came from investors and they dont have the right to play it with a third party investments aside from property and stocks investments, not unless their client dont know where their money being invested. And because btc price is unpredictable, they are not quite sure if it is a wise decision to invest.

Banks as we know today probably will never accept Bitcoin, but I'm sure that not in a long time the concept of Banks will change to adapt to disruptive technologies like Bitcoin, technology always sets what the future will be, no matter what.

until now I have not found any bank that received bitcoin, this is because the government does not legalize bitcoin so banks do not have the courage to accept bitcoin.
I don't think so that any bitcoin in the whole word are accepting still because bitcoin is not legalize in any country still and all banks are accepting only those currencies which are legalize by the government so that the main reason that why bank are not accepting bitcoins.

None that I think of but bitcoin is still withdrawable through electronic on line exchange before depositing into an actual bank. It would be nice to have one but there are governments who bans bitcoin so it is still impossible to put up an actual bitcoin bank.

It is possible that bitcoin is becoming popular and well known, but, in essence, it is still a virtual currency, its value depends entirely on real money.

Indeed everything has the possibility of getting better and getting worse, because we are in an ever-changing technology and will definitely experience a shift. So if we are not responsive and fast in capturing a newest or best technology then a loss will definitely be the main thing that gets. real money is not a base in bitcoin growth, because bitcoin grows because of enthusiasts or users.

some bank accepted bitcoin because of government or they aware of bitcoin's advantages.
if government say yes, bank will follow what it says.
or they know what is bitcoin. so they use them (you know, bitcoin cant defeat bank because we must take our money that is income from bitcoin in bank) or it can use other way

I think there's none. Banks are controlledd by different governments and Bitcoin happens to be decentralized..So with that, i think banks won't accept it and will only accept currencies which are supported by governments. But that's why there are e-wallets where users of Bitcoin can store their Bitcoin. They will be able to convert it into fiat whenever they would like to. Also, the price of bitcoin van be watched on those e-wallets.
