I'm not interested in playing on Nitrogen Sports, because I found quite a lot of negative reviews on their platform. Nitrogen Sports has a very
bad reputation for me, I don't recommend playing there, let alone making a deposit of some money. Moreover, Nitrogen Sports asks to deposit
0.005 BTC to be able to make withdrawals from the prizes won by users in the contest they are holding. Usually this is a deceptive method that
many scammers do, in my opinion, for opening post never to make a deposit on Nitrogen Sports. If you make a deposit I'm pretty sure you'll be
scammed, my advice is choose platforms that really have a good reputation for play gambling.
If someone never wants to deposit any money into a gambling site then why they are following their contests alone?

I bet no one is giving away free money everything is there for their own benefits.

Nitrogen exists for a very long time. They built a reputation during the years. And let's be honest, every bookmaker have issues with their customers. It is just about how you handle and resolve them.
Yeah, each casino might have their own issues but if you look at those that dont have experienced a good one on them, it will alert you.

I also remember them being one of the good and preferrable one but not anymore today.

However, I find it really weird that they will require you to deposit first?
If OP just created an account recently then it's reasonable for them to have a deposit requirement as other casinos i've tried also have the same rules when it comes to contests and promotions.

Several months ago I manage to win one of their twitter promotions during the nfl season and they even doubled my prize but I couldn't withdraw my prize since I got too greedy with the bets i've made. Even though they received tons of bad feedback recently a lot of gamblers still play there as they used to be one of the go to sportsbook but not anymore now that their competitors caught up (i've probably said this is another thread but hopefully it clears your doubt so you could claim your winnings).

Yah right and also we do have the will on which bookmaker would suit out our needs and we are freely to chose it up.Nitro was once the most famous bookmaker

back into those past years where everybody is almost been talking or suggesting this place until issues do pileup and lots of complaints which one of the reason on why
they are slapping into the ground into their reputation.

On the question if there are still players then its yes, there are still who do make use of this one.

I still have an account on them, like months ago, used them to bet on NBA games prior to the new season. I don't have any balance there, but I haven't try to login because I move to a new sport betting site for this NBA season

However, I find it really weird that they will require you to deposit first? And I'm not aware that they launched a sister company.

Have you found one bookie that doesn't limit winners?
One? There are several who don't limit winners. Check this link out.

https://valuebettingblog.com/no-limit-bookmakers/

Among them, I have used Pinnacle, Bookmaker and Betonline successfully for a long period where I earned decent profits overall without ever getting limited in any market so far. Exchanges are a great alternate option too.

Existing from a long time doesn't necessarily mean that the site will always stay legit no matter what. Several popular sites ran away with customer funds though they were legit for a long period. Check out the below link.

This is just one example. Nitrogen Sports seem to be getting worse over time. Also, they limit winners very quickly based on my research.

I was still playing there but recently they launched a sister site called NITROBETTING

I tried it out. Deposited 0.025 BTC in total. What a disaster that place is.

I made a post about it the other day.  Check it out.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bizarre-activity-at-nitrobettingeu-changing-min-bet-to-1btc-5323277

There's no way I would deposit 0.025 BTC in a betting site with a bad reputation.

As you can see, if you followed a link to the thread, he wanted to play slots, not to bet on sports! It's really a bizarre situation with their support, and I would just delete them from my mind and browsing history! It's what I did with several casinos, because of their support I will never visit those casinos! I wonder where they find support and do they check them before they give them a job!
Well, lesson learned! There's nothing else to say about this! Move to the next casino that will have more respect for you and your money!

Hello. Thank you for all your suggestions and advices.

Regarding the site I'm referring to: Yes, it's the legit Nitrogen Sports website (https://nitrogensports.eu)

Talking about the T&C, they never mentioned it during the contest on their official Twitter. They even have this 'double prize to active players' which is kind of disappointing because what's the sense of doubling the prize of winning participants if they are requiring ALL participants to have at least 0.005BTC deposit in the first place.

Another thing, 0.005BTC is such a huge amount of money right now, that is why I'm somewhat hesitant to do it.

Their customer support representatives are also a bit confusing because different customwr service representatives say different thing to me.
Don't forget the reason why they conduct many promotional contest like this is to encourage players to deposit more and bet more then only they will make money. Its not a charity its a business dude so they are allowing people to take double the amount if they are more active.

It says in T&C of all the competitions that you need to deposit something first to be able to withdraw winnings from their competitions (squares and others).

Most likely or in most cases on where you do won something on a site like getting it on a freeroll or any promotion and you havent make any deposits then you would really be likely ending up
on this situation where you do need to deposit up first before you can entirely withdraw all of the amounts deposits+wins on that account and if it does ask out for some wager then it should really
be clarified or check out on site terms. Are you sure you are dealing with legit nitrogensports website?

Asking to deposit some money before withdrawing the winnings is a very typical scam strategy, but Nitrogensports, while somewhat problematic (as the trust summary shows), are not outright scammers. That being said, I wouldn't risk depositing money there to get the winnings out. Especially such a significant amount of money ($280 currently)! Moreover, what semobo quoted from the Terms probably suggests that you have to play with the money you deposit before you can withdraw it, which will basically result in your money getting stuck on the website. Make sure you know the conditions of the promo as well as general terms of usage. I think it would be best to clarify the points you're unsure about in their thread before making a deposit.

so they mandate users to deposit first before they could withdraw?

a bit weird that we didn't see these rules and none so far that we see complaints to other sports betting sites. if the amount you have right now in the Nitro is worth more than the fee you'd be spending then go deposit. if not then just continue betting it until you can win big there. do they also require you to set up the 2fa?

In general, they are not asking such kind of deposit but you need to take a look at this
Nitro Squares Terms and Conditions

The Nitro Squares contests, both the Free Entry and Betslip Buy-in Entry contests, are open to all players of Nitrogen Sports.
New, active and inactive players from the sportsbook, poker and casino are allowed to join the contests.
Players are required to log-in to their nitrogensports.eu account before they can join the contest/s and make selection/s.
Players can enter the Nitrogen Squares contests for Free or via Betslip Buy-ins.This will be explicitly stated in each contest.
This promo is only available to good standing players of Nitrogen Sports; previously banned players are ineligible to win any prizes in this promo.
Players found to be multi-accounting or involved in any other fraudulent act for the purpose of circumventing the rules in this promo and other promos will be flagged and banned from this promo and other promos.
All users are required to make a first-time deposit and provide significant action before being able to withdraw any winnings from Nitrogen Sports poker freerolls, contests, and free bets including these Nitro Squares contests.

So I think this is okay as long as they are paying the rewards to the winners to eliminate the abusers of contests.

win lambo...
I guess you have to review the specific rules of the competition as your winning might be subject to certain terms and conditions.

you already posted in their ANN thread, (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.56544277ink to the post)

Let's just wait until the representative will replace and maybe post that reply here so we can give you a more detail suggestion.

Does anyone here still plays in Nitrogen Sports? Did you ever tried depositing in their site?

I have a balance in there, but they require me to deposit 0.005BTC first before I can withdraw the balance (which I won from their NitroSpread contest promotion).

https://blog.nitrogensports.eu/squares/rules/

You can read the terms of their contest in that link but it seems they are asking to deposit for the first time depositors so if you already having balance means you are not a new one then why the hell they are asking to deposit?

Exactly, that's my point. I don't know why they are requiring me to deposit 0.005BTC first. The balance in my account is my prize from their Free promotion contest from the last Super Bowl which is called NitroThread.
Ohhh? So you never made any deposit into that account by yourself or not?

It seems like they are actually asking about what they mentioned in their terms of contest, which is like newly created accounts maybe asked to deposit significant amount before proceeding the withdrawal. So I am clear now that you are on the actual aite and they are following their terms and its now your choice whether you want to take the reward by risking the amount they are asking or simply skip it.

so they mandate users to deposit first before they could withdraw?
