Hello all.
I'm still searching for an exchange that works, has good order types and is to my liking.
I'm considering Binance again, after losing trust in Bitmex and GDAXs crazy high taker fees.

My major gripe with Binance is the website becomes unresponsive after a while - freezes/crashes regularly.
The only way to get the website working again is to open a new tab and re-enter the address. Simply trying to refresh the page doesn't work..
I'm using google Chrome browser. But I also had the same experience with Firefox.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Second to this is often when you buy some BTC it doesn't show up in your account until you refresh the page. So if you try to place a stop-loss for the coin you just bought - it says your balance is 0.00 buy some coin first.
Refreshing the page losses all the information the page contained. So that includes the stops you had typed in advance. Which knowing bitcoin as we do - that could be disastrous if you were unlucky.
As during the time it takes you to refresh the page, re-type the stops and hit enter... the price could have crashed below your stop. This is why I so want OCO orders, to prevent this occurrence.

Are both these issues commonly experienced at Binance?
The second issue I mentioned; of having to refresh the page for the coin or usd you just bought to register in your account is also happening to me over at GDAX.

I did not face any such issue with Binance yet, pls get your explorer settings checked once, Binance website is working fine everytime I use it, if it freezes at some point in your PC, it may a problem at local end. I would also suggest you to try Binance app for trading, I have used it on my android phone and its working very well even funds deposits and withdrawal can be done easily from app. For tech analysis Binance is providing good chart facility like website on app.

Try to re-install your browser and adobe flash player. Maybe you can also re-install some of your video drivers. Trading platforms may also lag if you don't have enough RAM on your computer but I don't think that it should work the same with online charts.
There might also be some issues related to your location but re-installing your browser should help. In worst case, if your PC is full of viruses then you can re-install the entire Windows (or whatever OS you use).

It is expected to happen and that is why they will keep doing upgrade from time to time according to demands, the rapid growth Binance is witnessing in its community is something really large, just like you have dumped other exchanges for Binance,.

It is the same way we have lots of users that has dumbed other exchanges for Binance too these short period of time they are coming up with lots of strategies that is really pulling so many user/investors to them but with time, those inconveniences and problems you experienced or experiencing will fade away with their upgrading/enhancements.

When I have the desktop app running for days on end, it does end up crashing.
I have around 16 gigs of ram so memory isn't an issue.

So I typically restart the app every 48 hours to avoid this.

Is there a possibility that your internet connection or computer is the one giving you problems with? Aren't you experiencing it on other websites or programs with in your computer? Also check if your browser is the problem here, you should try running it on other browsers to confirm what I am saying. Problems like this one are due to connection issues which is common for people running with an outdated pc which has slow internet connection.

I do not use Binance often, but as most others on this thread, I do not experience any such issues when using their services.
Do you have such crashing or lagging problem on other sites you frequent on that device, as the problem could be from your end.
It is the largest exchange by market cap with millions of dollars in trading volume daily, it's unlikely such an issue goes unnoticed

Try to monitor the situation for several days. I think your case was only at your side because if there's a major (or minor) problems like that, we should see complaints about it and even I should experienced that as I regularly opened my account there to check my stuffs.

Try to logged on other machine in a different ISP. Yes might be at risks at you but there are ways to protect yourself on a public machines. But on the other hand, there are also ways to connect on other ISP with the used of your own machine so you will feel safe. PC specs surely was not the concern here as I believed you are running on a medium built specs or you can correct me if Im wrong here.

If the problem continues, try to send a ticket to Binance support and try their recommendations.

The second issue I mentioned; of having to refresh the page for the coin or usd you just bought to register in your account is also happening to me over at GDAX.

I have had similar issues like freezing of webpage and not refreshing while clicking the refresh button and so had to open a new tab again.
But these issues were only there when I used Binance on my phone's web browser. This might be due to less ram and so I would like to say that if you have less ram (less than 4 GB) then may be this is due to it.
Also, try an updated version of browser and also try the mobile app and check if the issue persists. If the issue still persists after all of these then may be it's time for you to contact Binance.

Nope, never had any crashes or freeze in between trades here in my machine. Perhaps it has something to do with the specifications of what machine you're using? I'm currently looking at their mobile app as I'd like to trade, or at least try to trade on mobile and see whether I can juggle between trading and doing real work at the same time when I'm away of the house.

Anyway, here's the specifications of the machine that I'm currently using for Binance (if this helps, because it could be your system that is the problem):

i5-4690k
16GB RAM
GTX 1660TI
1 TB SSD

I have been trading on Binance for more than a year, but i have never faced problems such as freeze/crash. I think that it has been the best exchange out there for some time.

I had that kind of issue year ago when I stopped using web interface. Just download their desktop app and trade (it freezes just for milliseconds ONLY during watching pump and dump groups doing spam orders - and that's the one and only situation when it happens). I was using at least 10 exchanges. Binance is best choice.

It does not for me. But I can tell you that platforms will begin to freeze as more people come on board and the system takes in many orders and many commands. It is just like a computer that you load up with many apps and perform many commands.

I experienced this with some exchanges before. Fast when new and slow when popular. So expect Binance one day will become like this. Wait for the bull run, then you will understand.

I use Binance quite frequently, and almost never had a problem besides one time when my deposit was delayed(even though I had 5+ confirmations), but it was immediately credited an hour after.

It looks like the issue is on your side as I don't think I've read of such an issue on Reddit(I'm subscribed to two of Binance's subreddits). Do you have a different device to try Binance on? I was going to suggest that you clear  your browsing data(cache, etc) but you said that it also doesn't work well on Firefox. But try to clear your browsing data, just incase.

Every time I open my Binance website, I don't experience any of your issues. Maybe some of the verification purposes like when you slide the slider, even if you input the correct position, it sometimes didn't read the correct one. It's just a minor glitch maybe, and it could be easily refreshed.

Other exchanges with the balance, I experience too, a first hand like for Bittrex and IDAX. I remember when I check my balance, it shows 0 first but as long as I know how much I have in there, I would be patient in waiting for it.

I would suggest using a trading tool like Gunbot. Setting it up would be easy and would help you not lose an opportunity with the right trades if you are interested, pm me.

I never had any problem with Binance, except miss to place an order buy or sell in the good price. But it's strange if it just happens to you. Did you already use the latest update for Chrome? Did you try with Opera or IE? If in another browser it's fine, then maybe the browser itself has a problem, and you should not use it.

Using your phone will be good, but it depends on the internet connection speed because it will be different if you use your computer, besides that, you will face a limitation when you use your phone. Sometimes, I don't feel good to trade using my phone because I cannot feel free to see the chart or the order.

I'm not exactly a hardcore Binance user, nor a computer expert, but I have used them quite a few times and never had the issues you're talking about.  In  fact, their interface worked pretty damn smoothly for me every time I traded on that exchange.

It doesn't sound like it's your browser, and I don't know what kind of setup you have as far as what hardware you're using, but if I had to guess (and this is with my relative ignorance of tech) I'd say it has something to do with that.  Could be Binance itself, but I've never heard your specific complaint before on this forum and as I said, I've never experienced it myself.

Using the mobile app sounds like a good idea if it's glitching for you.  Trading on your phone is awesome, since you can do it anywhere.

Had you tried using their mobile app? I'm using it and don't have any issues though.

While yeah sometimes the balance didn't show up but it will just like a second and didn't experience this regularly. Likewise, don't have thoughts about stop loss since I don't do that as I get in the order book oftentimes.
