There have been a lot of exchanges that have closed in the past for various reasons, and there are still many closed these days (not only BTC exchanges) due to regulation (China ban). The thing is that the crypto space is still a developing sector and there will be such cases in the near future as well, until everything is settled and regulated for good (even when it's regulated we'll have these occasional things). The point is that BTC has shown resilience throughout all these years, and even though many major exchanges have shut down (Gox etc.) BTC still survived in one way or another. Considering the scale of these recent events, in my opion, they can't be compared to what BTC has already been though, so it's really nothing new for the industry and for investors (they don't panic anymore as they used to), it just became part of the game really.
I think yes. If you will check the value of bitcoin since it was started until now you will see the huge increase. Because of its good performance people is now interested to invest on it.
I think yes. Bitcoin has a future especially now that its price keep on increasing. There's a big possibility that it brings us a good future. But, in every business, there's a positive and negative possibilities that may occur after a long time. So, all we have to do is to be aware that nothing will stay forever, so we will just keep on earning now while we still have the chance to earn it.
What's more than required for growth when the experts predict the outcome to be much bigger in the upcoming years. One among such happened from the company founder of Apple. He has indicated bitcoin as a better thing than gold. Now, this proves the growth taking place in a better way than various other things. So such positive hopes will always lead to growth.
Bitcoin really have big future because their blockchain technology now adopted by many company like international banks. Bitcoin also use in many banks for major transfer, and some country like Japan already regulated Bitcoin so that Bitcoin will be continue bigger and has great future.
Attracting large merchants is not what we need to push, the future is imminent even without that and apparently, we will see a time when most of these merchants will have no choice than to just make use of it.Things are still a bit shaky whether we like it or not which is why we have the huge level of volatility, but once reality starts kicking it and we start seeing more spending, what do you expect will happen with these merchants ?
I really think that Bitcoin will have a very bright future, otherwise, there wouldn't so many people interested to invest in it.
Nowadays cryptocurrencies have won a wide audience, I have heard a lot of people that bought a lot of things using bitcoin.

I just read on Btcjam blog that they are closing down: https://blog.btcjam.com/2017/05/25/btcjam-is-closing/, now I am just wondering if big players in thebitcoin industry are closing down, is there any future for bitcoin really.
I came to know about bitcoin through btcjam when i was introduced there to borrow. Eve in this forum, looks most signature campaigns might close down because of the ever rising price of bitcoin. Most of them have reduced their payout amounts for posting by more than 50%. Is this a good sign or a bad sign for the bitcoin development?
I believe in bitcoin because it is a very potential altcoin. It's been praised by many billionaires and many people have invested in it so it's hard to end the future. Definitely because it will replace the monetary system in the future. It will be used everywhere and it will be the standard currency taking that place of USD. The blockchain technology will be present in everyone's life.
I am astonished on the people who ask such type of questions. I must say you just have to compare gold, dollar and bitcoin till their start. You will see gold and dollar have done a fantastic journey but that take too much time. Now they’re the most expensive fiat on this planet. But see bitcoin, only 9 years and see the mind-blowing results it have shown, definitely future is all about bitcoin. Whether bitcoin has a good future or not, but all that who have trusted in it and invested into it has benefited in large scale. Based in this reality I assure that bitcoin provides the users the goodness upon the way they make use of it. Just go through the growth chart, can understand in better way about the reality.
the government will not deny anything that benefits the public at large, bitcoin is still in the category of system that can be set so well that it is not banned crypto until now. I think it's just a conspiracy before they apply the concept of e-money as an actual conversion benchmark. But bitcoin will still have wide freedom because they offer more freedom to get it.
Bitcoin really has a future and certainly a new crypto revolution will take place in this age and many will start to believe in Bitcoin and see Bitcoin as the world currency. I think this will happen from 5-20 next year
Yes the futures of the bitcoin is increasing more and more so buy more bitcoin and get in the bitcoin as the other source for the bitcoin I love to keep the bitcoin safe and one day I will be able to have the income from the bitcoin. I hold the bitcoin and i am going to have the bright future for the long term investment. Considering the fast price increase of bitcoin for the past years especially this year, no wonder bitcoin has a brighter future and that also means better future for us bitcoiners. The higher percentage of increase compared to its decrease is obviously a good sign of the strong and growing crytocurrency in this modern world.
I also believe that Bitcoin will have a good future. But I sometimes scare of the fluctuation of the market. Whether Bitcoin will fall down as fast as go up?

bitcoin is a bright future, because bitcoin is profitable and can improve the economy..but, for me personally. make bitcoin as a promising supplemental addition, because we do not know the future like what even though promising for the present or in the future .. because work is still important besides the work of runtinitas and guarantee in the old heart, bitcoin only help as an addition and both good for the live ..

For many, that future your talking about, has actually arrived. Long time bitcoin holders are now celebrating due to the massive increase in bitcoin value. A phenomenon some even said. Many speculations made on the continuous increase in the following years are still to be seen. So should we still buy despite of the current price increase? It is true, bitcoin does have a bright and colourfull future, the only question here is for how long, we have seen many times that if something is bright and has a good effect on people of freedom that the people of the governments try to be a obstacle to all the good things, they can eventually harm bitcoin because it is gaining popularity and value at high speed, there is no such thing as bitcoin gaining so much value, eventually they might ban bitcoin but they cant harm the blockchain as a whole because they know they can't ban it and remove it.
