I do fund my gambling site account on a USD exchange basis so i dont think that the bitcoin price movement affect my gambling hobby. The gambling site I’m using also used USD conversion, on Roobet for example. If bitcoin reaches a new peak maybe i stop gambling for a while and hold my bitcoin until i make a big profit. Gamblers didn't care that much about bitcoin price, we all want to have fun.

It has not affected my gameplay but it only decreases my regular bet (in bitcoin term). i was taking the dollar value as a price floor to determine how much I will bet on the platform and when bitcoin price is rising. I must try to decrease or adjust based on the current price of bitcoin. There's no change. People who have been betting use bitcoin will be adjusting their bet with the price that's reached by bitcoin and that's it.

This only affects those gamblers that convert their fiat money into crypto for betting.

If a gambler has some nice reserves of crypto, and that's what they used in their gambling activity, bitcoin price has nothing to do to affect their gameplay.

That's why as much as possible, I don't want to use my fiat then convert it to bitcoin for gambling purposes. It will add some pressure to me to always win if the price went upwards.

In the previous bitcoin price rise it didn't but right now it did somewhat affect my gameplay. I had to slightly reduce my bet size not only because of the price but whenever these rise happens the transaction fees and confirmations becomes more costly as the mempool becomes flooded with so many transactions. And I always deposit the smallest amount possible so I don't end up playing way too aggressive.

Really expensive these days, that's why those casinos which are accepting other alts like doge is very handy to some players. Since I'm not really a regular gambler, this rise doesn't affect much on my side. As I only gamble when I do have extra, so for me, when I allot that money, I already consider it as loss.

I like this topic, because I am also curious about the members here whether the increase in their Bitcoin price affects their gameplay.
For me it doesn't change much regarding the gameplay when playing gambling, with the increase in the price of Bitcoin in October this
made me reduce the number of bets that I usually use. For example, for sports betting I used to bet 0.005 BTC for one match, after
Bitcoin went up I reduced it to around 0.002 BTC. Likewise with other gambling games, I reduced the number of bets.

It's not a affect my gaming play in betting amount of bitcoin because even the rise is rising the I bet of  same of amount of bitcoin.
Maybe to the other people they decreased betting amount of this coin because the value is rising but for sure for the others is not.
There is no changes to betting when you are in gambling games but if you converted fiat to bitcoin that's the time that you have less bitcoin so you can bet less also but the value is same.

There should also be a dependence on how a person counts their losses and winnings. If a person keeps records in bitcoins, then nothing should change for them. But if a player recalculates their winning and losing bets in dollars each time, then the person can start betting less so that they don't need to adjust the statistics calculation.

For people who do tend to accumulate bitcoin without minding its fiat value then betting on the exact amount will really be there but most of the time
where people do depend on whats its current value so it would really be lesser specially if price of bitcoin is soaring that high.On the question does it
really affect my gameplay? no it doesnt when it comes to concentration or some sort but for casual fund management then it do just stick with the
traditional way. There might be some adjustments (which is normal) but overall it isnt really that much off an issue.

Hey guys,

As we all know, the Bitcoin is experiencing a decent price increase and it is slowly but steadily rising every day. Has it affected your gameplay somehow?
Some gamblers think if the price is so expensive it would be difficult to get profits.

How about you?

Cheers,
Karl

A lot of people get pumped up when they see bitcoin's price increase It's totally understandable as the mentality this gives the bettor is that what they usually bag home will become even bigger. However, more players playing means more players losing money in the process, especially for games that restrict to only one or 2 winners.

Personally, I don't usually used Bitcoin for gambling because i prefer using the altcoins for their low fees. But the use of Bitcoin for gambling to me is not good as you tend to pay higher in fees. Most of my coins for gambling are majorly altcoins which help me minimize fees, I see those gamblers using Bitcoin to gamble aren't doing any good to their gamble.
The position of altcoins as bitcoin soars is in good condition despite the effect that it gets. Yes, the fees are lower in altcoins but it's different from the psychological effect you get when you gamble with btc. You're even more conscious if you gamble with your btc because you know that it's more important than the altcoins that you're gambling with although you have the option to trade those alts whether you win or lose into btc afterwards. Mostly, gameplay doesn't change if bitcoin's up and you're even crave more to continue.

Nothing has changed for me because my deposits have been placed on gambling sites for a long time. In addition, I have enough coins in my wallets that I don't need to buy with cash. If a person does not buy cryptocurrency for cash to place a Deposit, then it is unlikely that anything will change for them.

if we will not mind the price we can play just like the old way but for the gambler that constantly check and mind the price , he will not have a peace of mind and this affect his gameplay .

for me i dont care if what are the price of btc but as long as i have a money to deposit i will play and will deposit same amount of money . difficulty of getting a profit will always be the same , its hard to earn a profit in gambling no matter what is the value of btc .

Not a gambler myself, but it should affect peoples gameplay. If the price of bitcoin doubles, people would not be betting the same amount of coins. They would rather prefer betting smaller amount, which might make them feel like they are placing "low" bets, but in fact they aren't.
Again, there are people who might want to hold into their coins and not gamble when they start seeing the price of bitcoin rising steadily since it is going to be a risk free way for them to get some profits from their coins. And then there are people who starts betting more since they have "extra" money from those price rise.

The price going up doesn't affect my gameplay because I only gamble with small amounts. I keep a larger percentage of my funds invested in bankroll or in my personal wallet to avoid temptation. It does feel more satisfying though when you have a nice win, like a few thousand satoshis, and it is now worth more than it was a few months ago.

I have noticed that my referral earnings have gone down recently so maybe it has affected how they are playing.

No pressure at all nor it affect my gambling style. Why it should be in the first place.

Since my capital was always from BTC, then I disregard the current exchange rate and just continue to my usual betting.

As always, I do my best to maintain my winning stats. Bitcoin price doesn't affect my focus.

If the change of betting amount is part of the gameplay, I say that it's a yes.

Changing the amount based on the market's price does contribute a lot to the way I play. But emotionally, I want it more to see go up so that I can bet with the smaller denomination in BTC knowing that it's up and does have a value.

But if the market starts to go down, I'll just go back to normal. I don't know if others are also like that whenever price increase.

Of course I am not based on the price of bitcoin going up or down, but the benchmark is the number of bets that have been prepared in gambling.
In gambling, always use the lowest if there is an increase in the price and the average of the gamblers will hold back when seeing the price of bitcoin rising high, so bet on altcoin or bitcoin thus I will do it when there is enough of the bet amount.
Gameplay will continue to run for me, no big influence.

The gameplay remains the same but the betting amount has changed a lot. But even before the recent price increase happens, I have already preferred to gamble with my altcoins rather than my little amount of Bitcoin. Sometimes it is really hard to gamble when you know very well that the cryptocurrencies you are playing with are increasingly becoming high in value.

The same thing happened to me. Since the crypto market is going up now it will have an impact on my gambling. Everyone who is involved with cryptocurrency knows that when you go somewhere in the crypto market you will get good results.

Because I want to take my position as much as I can now. However, it will not have much effect, I always keep separate money for gambling which I use only for gambling.
