Hey guys,

As we all know, the Bitcoin is experiencing a decent price increase and it is slowly but steadily rising every day. Has it affected your gameplay somehow?
Some gamblers think if the price is so expensive it would be difficult to get profits.

How about you?

Cheers,
Karl

Im not really bothered when it comes to price but the only thing that hassles me when using up btc in times like these were everything is mooning is on the fee's itself.

I cant really afford to pay up more than $2 for fees and if you do pay less then even reaching 1 confirmation would take lot hell of a time and this is where

altcoins do their job where i do tend to play with alts when network congestion and high fees do happen but overall in talks of price or value then it wont
matter yet i do always make up conversion to usd and based up on how much i would be willing to lose for that time.

It works to my advantages there is a specific value or amount of Bitcoin that I allocated in my playing time and and specific amount when betting when playing I based my bet on dollar and not on Bitcoin so that means additional funds for my playing time, the more Bitcoin become valuable the more funds I can allocate in my betting.

It doesn't affect me much since I don't base on bitcoins to fiat value, What I consider when I'm playing is the bitcoin amount to use in betting. We do have different choices of an altcoin that is more stable to use depending on the casino and I see that it is more convenient to use if the gambler is considering the fiat value.

I think this will differ on the gambler that is betting big amounts. As a gambler like me that spends not so much money on a casino, I can't really feel the changes in the price when I am playing so it's not a big deal for me.

Yes it does in the way that if the price is currently bullish, as is the case now, I wont be gambling as much than if the price were stable.
I am a small time gambler anyways and worry more about the expensive transactions fees.

^ In my own, changes in the value of bitcoins won't affect the profit in gambling for whatever or how much you bet in a game will still depend on whether you lose or not. Every gambler barely knows the current value of bitcoins every time they play, and besides casinos would definitely provide a winning price that is also fair and square to both parties, the players and the casino. What probably may change is how the players would spend their bitcoins in gambling if they know that the value of bitcoins is consistently rising each day. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, it will be one's discretion on how he will keep or spend his bitcoins in gambling.

Well, it doesn't necessary. I always bet on small amounts so when calculated in fiat I just spend a little less for betting.
When the price is on the rise I always get another motive to hold more although it's hard to tell how long the growth is going to last and where will it end
However, I always put on side some amount for gambling.

It always does in my context. I seem to not deposit any more amount on gambling sites when the prices are high. Not necessarily that I'm using them or exchanging them to fiat but just because I don't want to miss out on the ultimate bull run. I was hoping even to withdraw my coins if the prices reached 15K but they didn't. It's mostly because I mostly compare every bitcoin I have in USD as well the bets placed are mostly in USD calculations.

It does somehow affect though if the minimum bet of casino is still the same after Bitcoin rise then the price of Bitcoin to USD is quite high if you come to think about it. But if it is a fiat casino I don't think converting some Bitcoin would affect the gameplay. I would say it's quite convenient if during Bitcoin pump don't choose a crypto casino but instead choose the fiat one if you want to minimize your losses. Especially the one that you want to play for entertainment only.

Bitcoin price doesn't affect much in my game. But there is a advantage while the price goes up. The same amount of btc profit become more in usd value. I always focus on crypto profit amount while I gamble. For this the price change don't have good impact in my crypto gambling session. So when the price is expensive it would be easy to get profit not difficult.

There's no much of a significant change for me regardless of the price of bitcoin as I always limit the amount I will spend on gambling. Also, I think for most gamblers here, the price of bitcoin is not the basis of their gameplay, probably, they will continue to play until they are already satisfied and entertained.

If some gamblers think that the rise of bitcoin will make it hard for them to earn a profit, their main purpose for gambling is for income. But since I gamble to have fun, it's not really my concern, and I just gamble until I want.

I just set the bet amount based on fiat (for instance, I consider placing $10 on some outcome), and then choose the appropriate amount in Bitcoin based on the current price. So to me, there isn't much difference. However, I can imagine people who would hodl when the bull run is starting and won't allocate the usual amount of BTC to spend on gambling, but they would try to spend more when Bitcoin seems at its peak and the downward trend is about to begin. In also remember that when the price increased in 2017, it was a big issue for gambling because of the fees that made one think twice before depositing or withdrawing money from a website, but until the fees don't go beyond reasonable, the price is not something that changes my behavior.

Just what I expect after reading the title I know for sure that a lot of players or bettor didn't see any changes or didn't have any effect on their gameplay just like me I really don't think there will be a big changes even if the price of Bitcoin increases maybe if the price of Bitcoin really increases like $100,000 per Bitcoin for sure most of us would really change their gameplay and their bet.

I am gambling with bitcoin from several years (since it was around 500-700 USD).
Short move will not change my gambling habits and generally speaking I am not worried to play if price is rising.
the only thing that I have changed from the beginning is related tx fees. I have changed a lot the way I am using some betting site since saving some fees provide clear results.

Not really affecting, the more BTC we get when we win.
It affects me however since I now decided to not use BTC to bet on casino but just the altcoin. I'm saving BTC because the price after all is increasing. For me there is no need to use it to play on casino because I can after all gain USD just by holding it. And then there is the withdrawal and transaction fee that also are increasing up to $8.

well I think the increasing price movement of bitcoin will make us confused about using bitcoin as capital for gambling because the increasing exchange value makes us think that when the wrong bet will make us lose a lot of money,
Likewise when you win, you will win more than usual in term of bitcoin price but in number I don't think it makes any difference. Why should we be confused just because of the price ?
There are two option that can be used if the gambler is concerned about price in my opinion and they are:
1. Lower the betting limit.
2. Change to another method.

When we use bitcoin to bet, we will either spend bitcoin or win bitcoin on that bet. In number, I don't think it will be affected, but from a price point of view one might consider it.

Bitcoin makes the world go 🔃
Actually I don't play during these price increase since I tend to trade most of these time and hold some till the price shows sign that will decrease. Though it's really attempting to play more at these time since if we won we will be able to get BTC in a higher value if we're lucky enough to win maybe will still alot time to play once my set amount reached these days but will better play safe and only play with minimal budget  still.

I don't really think it affects on how I play in gambling casinos and sports betting my bet is still the same as before I think that's the great thing in playing with cryptocurrency I just consider them as playing token and doesn't care about its price so I think no matter what price it is low or high as long as there's no change in the minimum or maximum bet on a casino or sports betting site it wouldn't affect my game play.

It it affects my play in the sense that when I see the price of bitcoin going upward obviously I want to keep it and get part of those profits and when I do gamble I also adjust down the size of my bet accordingly because even if I am playing with the same amount of bitcoin the fiat value of my bets has go up and I try to compensate, other than that nothing changes and I keep gambling for as long as I want and get the same amount of fun I did when the price was lower.

Honestly, it doesn't really affect my gameplay or how I gamble because whether bitcoin's price increase or decreases, I still lost and managed to win a considerable profit in gambling. I only get motivated to hold all of my bitcoins when bitcoin's price pumps up, which is why I temporarily stop playing gambling for a while. So I could able to maintain my long-term investment until bitcoin reaches its ATH again.

Not that much since I still keep the same amount of Bitcoin bet as before no matter what the price of the Bitcoin is. So in overall my gameplay still the same even if it rises or even if dumps but I think it depends if the gambling casino have a feature of you can look at your balance in $ or €
