It's normal to be cautious of Telegram groups that promote new coin bounty campaigns since there are many scams out there. To stay safe, it's essential to research the source of the bounty and participate only in campaigns from trustworthy platforms. Bitcointalk forum is a reputable platform for bounty campaigns, and many legitimate projects use it to promote their bounties i suggest to pick good ones that are managed by reputable users here and you will have higher chances to get paid sometimes they pay you well

There was a time when they really paid you without encountering any problem because they were all legit about 6 years ago and things became worse when scammers create their own coins and promote them with bounties and we are not talking a handful of them, they were thousands of varieties of Bounties and they either became scam or they haven't reacted their soft cap due to the tight of competitions and ended up stopping their project. The result was really worse because it became the reason the investors, not trusting the projects promoted with bounties.
You are right, we have a lot of scam coins in the market and this have impeded the trust investors and hunters will have in new projects even though they promised or have whatever it takes to succeed in the future.
-We have several projects who have tied down investors' money for over a year or two now and nothing could be done about it since they announces their delay in the project launching without making provisions to compensate their investors.
-So many factors contributed to most coins' failure or delay such as the covid-19 or any other external forces that impacted projects negatively.

What I can see in today's days compared to the previous days is that bounties are mostly scams. Because of which bounty hunters are not getting proper payment like before. Those who are investing in projects now are victims of scams.  Can't believe it. I think if we work with any project then we have to work with good information about that project. And if we work without any information then we have to fall in the trap of scam.
The Bounty Campaign is indeed not like last year which still provides considerable results, but if you have a lot of time to do the tasks of the Bounty Campaign then you must put it to good use to contribute to the program, when working on Bounty I prefer to don't expect the results too quickly, the important thing is that the tasks given have been done properly and the results obtained are considered as bonuses so that when paid they won't make you disappointed.

That's the sad reality of crypto world recently, there is really no way around it at this point. There are too many projects who "promise" a lot of things but we all end up seeing that they are really not what they say they are and that causes all the trouble. I rather work for something that exists, instead of working for a bounty, I would work and do something else and get paid in eth or btc, which would allow me to make a real profit and not this fake one.

That way I could say that it is something I have made profit from and there is no doubt about it. Bounties have that doubt, you do not know how much it will worth and that causes the doubt and trouble to begin from first minute.

Sometimes I find myself being added to Telegram groups where they are doing bounty campaigns for new coins but at the end of the day, people will start complaining that the project is dead. In most cases I exited from the groups immediately I find myself there because I feel they are prone to defrauding people.
This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.
Very rare to find a bounty that pays today. Stay here in the forum and join the bounties of reputable managers and you might have a better chance to claim a bounty. I forgot when was the last time I joined one because most of the time in the past they are not paying or if they do, it will take a lot of time before the payment initiates or is completed (if they are paying in an installment plan).
Don't expect too much if you are still joining them, that should be the mindset.
Don't waste more effort if you found out they will not pay in the future. Get over it and join another.
Don't get attached to the project, this is where you will get rekt. Trust me, I have been there.

Some Bounties pay more than others. Also some bounty managers are more honest than others. So you have to choose which one to work on
And to choose one, you need to check all of them that you are interested in. Because if you don't, you'll have a hard time determining which is likely to pay.
Yes, only "likely" to pay because you'll never know if you've chosen a bounty that will pay you after they run their marketing. Because all of them are also too heavily influenced by their success.

until now some bounties seem to be still paying. I follow several telegram groups from bounty managers who do have a good reputation on the forums.
but what you should know about the bounty campaign if you are interested. some of them pay. and some are bullshit.
I can't force you to stay away from bounty campaigns, but my hopes are for you. just focus on the forum first. when you are trapped in a bounty routine, it will be difficult for you to develop yourself. especially to increase your account. although I'm not sure you want to increase your rank in the future.

Seems not worth when joining with several altcoin bounties campaign because when distribution started have small reward and ever I saw with spreadsheet reward table for social media campaign participants reward under $1, I don't think good ideas spent more than one until two months joining with several altcoin bounties campaign and the end reward under $1.

Better looking bounties campaign with higher reward above $20,000 and payment sent as soon possible before price drop, need finding with trust Bounty Manager if want distribution on time.

At one time they paid more than what a signature campaign paying bitcoin would but things have changed now. Because some exploitative users understood thing, they farmed multiple accounts and defrauded these campaigns which led to a lot of problems for the projects. Eventually the companies that continued doing bounties for promotions were the scum ones. Hence the bounties section is today filled with scum projects and their low quality user base.

Doesn't this increase the danger of the situation? Currently, many bounty managers do not consider the projects they work on. Additionally, there are no filtering teams for each project on the Bounties (Altcoin) Child board, except for moderators.

As of now, the board is still filled with 90% of people who are solely focused on instant financial gain, without considering the consequences of their actions, even though they provide a disclaimer regarding investment activities at the end of their content.

It used to pay well back in those days, I mean a good percentage of them. But nowadays its hard to get one that even pays more than a hundred dollars, maybe its because of current marker trends. I don't know

I dont think the situation would improve in the next few years, it is better to keep yourself limited to bitcoin paying campaigns.

Its more like 99.99% projects being scam. So go for the needle in the haystack or get yourself a job. Roll Eyes

Yes, some pay and some don't, so you have to do a lot of research to find out which projects are reliable.
Some pays shitcoins and still useless.

In general, Telegram channels are full of scams and trolls, so you should be careful and it is better to stay away from them.

There are a lot of reliable bounty here in the bounty section of the forum, they always pay out. This is better than telegram channels which have a lot of spam.
I have no trust in telegram because we are not sure who is talking to us either a scammer or the real owner of the account. This platform become a medium to huge scam event in the market.
If we are joining bounties, we better not expect a lot nor expect money because it was very unfortunate and seems hopeless to get valuable coins that we can able to sell in good exchanges.

I think you are talking about giveaways or airdrop which has same work like bounty and these Airdrops are managed in telegram group. 90% of telegram Airdrop for new coins prove scam. reason behind scamming is failing of project or they just want to just collect fund through ICO and there has no real project.

if we talk about Bitcointalk bounty then i will say yes most of bounties is still paying. some bounties are fully guaranteed like escrowed by Reputed members(Bounty detective, Royse, Julerz, Hhumpuz,CryptopreneurBrainboss) while some bounties depends upon project team. Reward are also good and depends upon number of compaign you participated, allocation, number of users. in 2022 more than 60% bounty has been paid successfully.

There were many bounty opportunities through bitcointalk, telegram and twitter I observed in many years. Some of them really pays well. Sometimes you read a whitepaper of one altcoin project and write some article about it and they pay you some return. I remember that I could sell those altcoins for like 50 dollars, 100 dollars sometimes. But overtime obviously not in a day... More like months later. Many people remember deeponion project.
Also obvious one: there are many scammers around. Please be cautious.
Bounties are not what they used to be so anyone thinking about starting their journey should probably think about it again as bounty hunting went from something some people did in order to support their favorite project and earn come coins out of it, to something people did just for the sake of the money, and this means that just as there are a lot of scammer releasing their own coins there are also many bounty hunters using bots to automate their task and claim from as many bounties as possible, and a regular person cannot compete against that.

It is because project dont use forum bounties (like we have used to) for promotion anymore. Instead they use platforms like https://gleam.io/ or https://galxe.com/ for promotional campaigns. As well as promotional budgets became extremely low. We had millions of project tokens budgets, now we have $1-10k worth budgets in project tokens only. Bounty results have nothing to do with market trends. During bear market or the quarter when ATH were reached, campaigns still have same small budgets. The only difference in trends is that we have increased amount of scam projects during bull, and average high number of scams during bear.
