I don't think so. Smart contracts are really useful, and ethereum is by far the smart contracts platform with more adoption. There are plenty of use cases.

Ethereum will not collapse on its own, because its main sales channel comes from the ICO market, and only when the ICO market collapses, Ethereum will end!
For some reason, now eth prices are actually experiencing a very drastic price decline and the ranking in the market is now down, but basically anything can happen in the future, especially in the crypto world, so there is still a possibility that eth will experience recovery, but there is a possibility that eth will in the end experience price declines, we just wait for what will happen in the future.

Price dropping doesn't literally means that it will be the end. If as we can see, almost all of the currencies in the coinmarketcap is dropping. Maybe Ethereum is one of the currency that is directly affected but I think soon it will recover as the bitcoin's price increases.

Ethereum is going to frozen era , Its price has been decreased a lot and now mining it is not profitable with that price , We need to see if miners leave ethereum or keep mining it , Ethereum team needs to do something about it i guess.
Not for a long time, but in the end: yes. It will be surpassed by newer and better cryptocurrencies. Once those become more established, I believe ethereum will loose its value. But I'll give that development at least another 5 years. So benefit from current market prizes and buy to hold for middle.long term.
