Well, as someone who is a gambler and you'd feel the excitement is because you want to do it. And it is a normal feeling when a gambler is doing it at all times.
But the sad part there is when you've been losing more and even you're so excited, that's cutting the excitement that you're feeling and you are having hard time to recover those losses.
Most gamblers want to win but it is not going to happen as many of us are going to lose no matter what.
However, I think that losing a large amount of money that can make you sad is quite unlikely to happen if you are basically a gambler who comes with the goal of entertainment or fun which when your goal is nothing more than fun then obviously when you get the fun and enjoyment then it will not be difficult for you to stop in time which can prevent you from losing a large amount of money.
I understand that there is absolutely no joy when you lose money, but this is gambling which is always about winning or losing, which means that there should be no sadness when you are in a losing situation but you should be able to accept and understand that losing is part of gambling, simply put if you don't want to lose money in any amount and no matter how small then you better not gamble, as simple as that.
