There were many objections raised when Sania was wearing skirts while playing tennis and it became such a big controversy back then. But then these kind of issues are raised even today where a Muslim TV actress was bashed for wearing sindoor (that's a Hindu tradition for married women). India being a secular country, nobody can be arrested for such issues but these kind of reports still keep happening which is sad. It's not what happens only with Muslims, even Hindus are targetted for even talking about their own God.

True. At least she wasn't targeted for killing. Like these poor unfortunates...

According to the Iraqi activist blog Mosul Eye, sharia judges have ruled that ISIS followers are authorized to kill infants with Down Syndrome or congenital deformities. Already since the religious decree (fatwa) was issued, militants have killed at least 38 children between one week and three months old by lethal injection or suffocation.

In a post on the Mosul Eye Facebook page, the group claims that any child with a disability is now at risk of being killed, and released a brief video showing disabled children. The killings reportedly took place in ISIS strongholds in Syria and Mosul, the northern Iraqi city seized by ISIS in June 2014.

Mosul Eye claims to report directly from Mosul, and has reliably reported on Islamic State incidents in the past. It has been called “one of most accurate chronicles of life under Islamic State rule.”

The group says it has monitored the deaths of several children with Down Syndrome and congenital deformities. They learned of an “Oral Fatwa” issued by the sharia board of the Islamic State authorizing its members to “kill newborn babies with Down’s [sic] Syndrome and congenital deformities and disabled children.”

Despite all those treats from the radical Islamists, she married a Pakistani (for an Indian, that is very uncomfortable choice). After the marriage however, the protests against her short clothes stopped.

Of course, another fatwa orders that any woman swimming in the sea is an adultress.

fatwas decreed that women who swim in the sea are committing "adultery" -- even if they wear a hijab: "The reason behind this particular fatwa, from their point of view, is that the sea is masculine [as with many other languages, Arabic nouns are gender specific, and "sea" is masculine], and when the water touches the woman's private parts she becomes an 'adulteress' and should be punished."

Was actually surprising she didn't feel threatened. Would have been different if it was in a different country. I mean, even Muslim politicians in Afghanistan who are asking for moderation get assassinated - to the people's approval. Guess she's lucky she's in India.

I can just imagine how uncomfortable it would be to play with a full body suit on. I imagine she would have been asked to wear something similar to a burkini. Of course except it would be wet from sweat rather than water.

Lol. Most sports clothing is engineered for max human performance today. Going RETRO-BURKA-MODE would have meant just one thing, that she would have lost the competitions.

Looking into the matter a bit closer, I find that this woman really does have some rather amazing honkers. She is positively endowed with let us say, headlights.

See this picture.
