It depends what kind of game they are playing. If they play about dice, then luck is the only way to win the game but in cards it needs skills to win the game. Strong feeling is similar to say that we/you will be lucky within that day IMO.

I have friends who are into cockfighting and these guys are really relying their luck on what they wear, some signs, and the like. Maybe positive thinking can help with that but to be honest, in the games based on luck, there no much you can do about it no how much positive you are talking about the situation, the same will not affect it!

Somehow being optimistic can be helpful upon the outcome. It could be helpful to focus more and think wisely that makes your chances of winning higher. Together with luck and having experience upon this thing could make you a winner.

It would be definitely very much helpful for the gambler when he will remain positive throughout his game because in that way, he would not be detracted from the things are revolving all the time in his mind. Also as you are saying he would be able to put more concentration to the game than his opponent and very less chances will be there for his loss.

It’s not all about luck. Full concentration can make you able to win the game and positive thinking means that you are focusing only on the game. Of you are thinking or your mind is somewhere else you will not gambler with confident and the result will be your lose. No doubt luck is an important factor in gambling but positive thinking will also affect your game.

I agree, luck is really the best armor we can have with gambling, but we can still think positive just to give us some determination to win, in my opinion, thinking positive things can also help us think good things when playing and maybe we can have a chance to win if we have some determination for it.

No doubt in it but you have to understand this thing, never ever believe in this luck thing. Although that helps you but so rarely. Have you heard of someone who says I am lucky every day? No, I am sure you haven’t. That is what I am saying, you don’t know which one is your lucky day in a month or year, so never play gambling. Gambling is nothing but luck so you can have bad luck most of the days.

Confidence in what you do is very important. You make yourself think properly, adopt to the environment and literally with less fear within the game. You will have less stress and probably can cope with losses if ever it happened.
If you think that you know what you do then you can play good and surely you will not panic.
Panicking does not have any benefits at all.
With proper knowledge and information also experience, you can be as positive as you can.

Yes, they need technical knowledge but they need to be lucky enough to get the correct card for the show. In most cases, people should always need to have enough luck in order to win the gambling, gambling always needs to have enough luck to win through the gambling.

That’s the only thing you can hold on to, not just your mentality but with your self as how you think you’re going to do it. It’s the thinking and the good things, just like you said. But the verdict will be released on the moment you push the gamble button.

It can boost your confidence but if it isn't checked and controlled to a certain degree it can backfire and get you over confident and make you prone to mistakes and unforced errors while you gamble away your hard earned money.

As a gambler myself, there is no amount of positive thinking that affect your edge in gambling. If it is true then nobody will lose because everybody would think positive then.
