I agree. While marketing plays a huge role in determining whether a project succeeds or not it is not the only factor, the entire team needs to work together to make that happen not just a subsection of the marketing team. And having signature campaigns helps in increasing the visibility of that project but again it doesn't guarantee success.

Some companies are nor advertising anywhere other than bitcoin talk forum, it means they are reaching the hard cap finally. It is because most of the promotion is based on the signature campaign only, this will get more exposure to the project if the company is real potential.

not only ico's but almost any projects or business that needs publications or exposure , signature campaign does really help them . promoting thru signature campaigns will also differ or varry its effectiveness depending on how popular the website or the forum that we are promoting . but in the case of bitcointalk forum , we are really sure that advertisers can always get the best possible result that they always been looking for because bitcointalk forum is the number one crypto forum , which means it can always appear in the pages of the internet or any other search engines .

It really helps because full members and higher ranking members will tell how good an ICO is. High ranking members like legendary has a lot experience in ICOs so if investors sees a lot of them promoting that project then there's a high chance that it is a good project and they will consider to invest.

I think so, yes! On forums as big as bitcointalk because you're posting in the right place at the right audience I think its a nice way to spread the word. Its relatively cheap advertisement

Number of participants effectiveness depends on the lenght of campaign runs. 100 participants is an ideal number to run a maximum of 10 weeks of campaign, that would be enough to spread the ICO around the community. While campaign with less participants ( 20-30 people ) would usually run for long term.
I dont think signature campaign is more affordable than the other advertisement outside the community, since its harder to get investors from the mainstream social medias, because most of the people there is not cryptocurrency oriented. Whereas, advertising here is very effective, since the target market is all over the community.

Participants of such signature campaigns in the most cases are those people who invest new ICO project which they promote. And if such signature campaigns continue to appear on the forum I can conclude that such commercial really works.
