The price of bitcoin does matter a lot if I read this thread I see alot of answers about how the price reflects status of the coin and this is very true.
Nobody wants to buy in a dieing valuta or share so seeing the share is doing good and only has one way to go which is up is a good thing.
although if the price of bitcoin doesn't matter then how people could calculate how much their stuff worth in bitcoin, and i don't sure people will trying bitcoin if bitcoin's price doesn't matter and i guess if people thinking that the price of bitcoin could falling drastically
The price is important to all of us. People saying they don't care about the price are simply lying. Even long term hodlers care about the price.

I as a long term hodler can agree that fluctuations don't affect me at this point since I plan to hodl my coins for at least a few years, but the end target all depends on the price.

At that time it will be clear whether or not I have wasted a few years waiting patiently for the price to reach a point where I am happily taking profits at.

Where's that post saying they don't care for the price? I will give them some good enlightment.

Price really matters in all aspect whether for trades, earnings etc. Price dictates what traders will do and about earnings, well the answer is obvious.

Yeah price really matters in bitcoin, and our actions and decisions will depend only on the price that it holds and if there is no price of bitcoin then there will be no users of bitcoin too.
Yeah right it is in our hands not only one can make a decision more people are holding bitcoins. if 50% of bitcoin users sell their bitcoin the price can change the value because its a big or huge price will be dump in the market that can affect teh value of bitcoin..

To me the price of bitcoin really matters, as I sell when the price goes higher and buy when the price is low, so at a moment I am holding and will sell when price climbs up.

Some of the users said that the price only matters to miners and traders but Price matters to all the users of bitcoin, its not only limited to miners or traders, its important to even a person who is just earning it, as he keeps on waiting for price hike so that he can sell at the right time and earn extra profits.

Price does matter because we are dependent to the price of fiat especially on dollars. We cannot live without the price as our earnings here are automatically converted to fiat if we wish to cash it out.

If price will be cheap, people will stop interesting in BTC isn't it? I think i've just answered on this question laconically and simple  Grin
Yeah the Bitcoin price is important and because of the price not being stable all the time Pope are going to decide if they are going to trade in there Bitcoin.
Or they can choose if they want to make money and trade in there Bitcoin.

The most basic purpose of people coming towards bitcoin is getting profits from it, so if the price does not move at all then it would probably be the same as other currencies, an stable price wont make it so famous in the world, so price really matters.
yes that is a fact that most of the people are coming here in the world of bitcoin for making money, but some people also invest in bitcoin for transaction purposes and for security while some people are investing in bitcoin to use it just like fiat currency.

For me it matters since it have to spend it. Without a value i have no idea what it is worth.
So yes the value of bitcoin is important. For everybody btw.

Price of bitcoin really matters. If you were much into the various earning methods of bitcoin only based on certain targeted earning users get involved. So to achieve this, price of bitcoin is really needed.
The price of Bitcoin is really important because if Bitcoin has no value than people would dont use Bitcoin because you cant earn money with it and that is their main reason that they are buying Bitcoins.
You need also some patience if you want to start using Bitcoin, it can takes a long time until the value will be more.

Exactly, price is a key factor in bitcoin, and that is the reason people are attracted towards it, if bitcoin holds no value in future, they everyone will simply stop using it.

Yes i agree with you. The price of bitcoin is really matter for bitcoin. I think bitcoin is popular and many people use bitcoin because the price itself. And if the bitcoin's price increase so high, it will be a good news.

Yes indeed the price of bitcoin is what will reflect it's value to investors and the rest of the outside world.
If we have a higher value per coin then more parties will be interested in bitcoin causing it to be even more interesting for others and businesses.
That matters for all investor but i think for the earners without investment they have little bit concern on the price but not like a real investor. And spending bitcoin can help the price to increase.

Yes that's it because they are seeing that the price of bitcoin is really high and good enough so they tend to think if they are going to have 1 bitcoin that's a lot of bucks.

So price really do matter because if that is not for the price of bitcoin then weren't here. And if bitcoin is totally no value at all, do you think we are going to put some efforts and time for it?

yes thats right they are attracted knowing that they can profit form this investment so the more we introduce it to them and giving them idea about the good possibility price will be their basis so i guess it is important.
Because when the price is high, it will attract more people to adopt, the first thing they will lose is the price as price replicate what is the actual performance of bitcoin economy, so I believe that we want to maintain or even increase the price, we have to continue supporting bitcoin.

Price matters because most of the people treating this as an investment and to make money.

And because price matters, it' also affects the adoption of bitcoin in most of the stores. Stores doesn't want the behaviour of bitcoin price so much volatile.

yes , for me it matters more , because i am a local bitcoin trader . i buy the btc at low and sell at high price . so it tends to a big change in my deal .
since if you want earn and directly use Bitcoin then there is nothing about price .
I think whatever you do on bitcoin, whether you do it for investment, trade and currency, the rate and the price of bitcoin will be very  crucial

I think price is the only factor that attracts people to use or invest in bitcoins and if bitcoin would fall down then I doubt that many would prefer to use it as an investment.

When it comes to people looking to make an investment, yes, the price is the only thing that matters for them. And that's all good since every sort of usage of Bitcoin is more than welcome. Regarding the price falling down, that is the time where people will see an opening to enter the market at relatively cheap prices. Falling prices are not a negative thing.

Falling price is not negative unless its falling to an certain extent, and if price falls extremely then we need to find the reason behind the downfall and there is a chance that it may not rise again in future.
What I witness is that the price falls most of the time due to FUD and there is no serious reason why it falls, so in the end it will still come back and the top spot so if you see that kind of situation, you should be smart enough to  buy cheap bitcoins and earn from short term investment.

We cant really stop or avoid  bitcoin price drop because  of some  various  reasons  and as  you said  we should see  it as  an opportunity to  buy more coins  because as  we  know  on bitcoin price it would surely  bounces  up back  and we could make  profits  on it  on  short trades.

The bitcoin price could drop in the short term if it is driven down by a big whale. But it will rise again.
