It does and doesn't.
It does when you are going to invest in the bitcoin.
It doesn't if you are making a transaction or if you're going to gamble with your Bitcoin.
Lol I think if bitcoin has no price you certainly will not be able to gamble using bitcoin. I think whatever you do use bitcoin
price or rate becomes the most important thing

Yes and no
Yes because if you have made an investment in Bitcoin you do want to make profit from it.
No because if you use the bitcoin for things like gambling the price doesn't really matter.
The price of it still matter if you use bitcoin for things like gambling and shopping because the price of any thing depend on its value not bounded with the fix amount of bitcoin so it the price of bitcoin will increase then we will have to pay lower to get that thing.
i think the price of bitcoin also matter for investment. i think most of the people of the world are using bitcoin for investment purposes and they aimed that when the price of bitcoin will increase they can get some profit. and that is the reason that i can say that the price of bitcoin is really matter and is more important for the investors.

I do not believe in steady growth in bitcoin. Every time we observe unreasonable price hikes on cryptocurrency and practical reasons for the decline is nowhere in sight.

Steady growth in any commodity in the real life occurs in the long term and not short term ups and downs. Similar in bitcoin, if you have checked the yearly charts and graphs you may have already noticed that.

There is nothing unreasonable in price hikes. Its not like petrol price which get hiked every now and then in our country. It depends on the demand/supply ratio

You basically refute your own claim yourself

Crude oil is one of the most important commodities in our life (think of gasoline here), and some people even call it the blood of the economy. But its price (as you yourself say) is far from either stable or steadily growing. It is essentially the same with any other traded commodity out there, not just oil. The prices of these commodities are not in the least set to grow (or just remain stable, for the record). If you take gold, for example, it made its highs in late 2011 (i.e. over 5 years ago), but now it's trading at only two thirds of its former fame (in dollars, obviously)

The price matters, if the price is higher more people are interested in Bitcoins and more of them are using it.  More people is trying to make some profit. For some true Bitcoin enthusiasts mayr the price isn't the most important thing and they use Bitcoins for some other reasons and advantages but in general Bitcoin price is important.

It turns out that the price of bitcoin someone manages and makes a difference.
No one manages the bitcoin price in order to make any difference. Only the users and the traders can make a difference - and that is grow not decline.
Yes it's right no one can manage the Bitcoin price, it all depends on Traders and bitcoin users. How the Bitcoin users increased like that we see fluctuations in bitcoin price. And yes the price of the Bitcoin is matter, If the price is stable then no work for traders. And slowly the bitcoin users will slow down. To make bitcoin active then traders must be active. To make traders active, the Bitcoin price is matter.

bitcoin prices are so important. I think, many people are looking for a bitcoin, because bitcoin prices are very high. perhaps, only a few people who will be looking for bitcoin if the price is below $ 100. but, this time, has a lot of investors who invest money they have to wait in bitcoin bitcoin prices to be high.

I agree with you , price of bitcoin matters on how people treated it.
If you look bitcoin as your need in your daily life it can be more and much important than any, but if you sees it just something to for fun for sure you do not mind on how it increases and decreases.

I am so sure that the price of bitcoin is so important. especially at a time like this. ie times when the price of bitcoin becomes higher. I think people began to buy and hold bitcoin they have to get the right moment to sell bitcoin, bitcoin when the price reaches a high price in accordance with their purpose.

You are right, the price of bitcoin does matter and it is one of the major reasons why many investors are attracted into bitcoin.  The price of bitcoin with its increasing flow of movement is a charm that bitcoin have and by the end of this year 2017 we will enjoy bitcoin at 3k dollars per coin in value. The higher the value of bitcoin the more it becomes attractive and more users will be tempted to use and buy bitcoins.
Yeah that is true. Bitcoin price always matter because that is one of the sign if a coin is good to invest or not. Many investors or traders or even just normal users depend on the price of a coin, if they see that the price is so high and it is doing well in the market then they will buy it but if it is not and the price is falling then they will just ignore it. That is how price affect the demand of the people.

Price matters everywhere, does it?
The only thing that can be as important as price, is quality.
But i have not heared about quality bitcoins, so it all comes back to the price.
The amount of things I can buy with my bitcoin is important to me and everybody else.
If that amount declines, it does not please me!

Bitcoin price really does matter, as I can observe to it investors invest in bitcoin. Because they want to earn profit well, atleast their money has been increase in such a short period of time. And the price of bitcoin now is becoming higher each day, so many bitcoin users are being into it and they could earn very well. Bitcoin price really does matter for me...

If the goal is only to use bitcoin gambling, practically it does not mean anything. Play does not matter what. But bitcoin in order to get more Fiat, this is a different approach. I do not believe in what they say, for the sake of bitcoin bitcoin. Only in order to sell it when the price rises high enough.

I also think it is irrelevant in terms of attracting more attention or demand. But for me or any investors out there price of Bitcoin matter as it is the main reason why people are investing at it in the first place because of its price action. Even if Bitcoin is priced at 2000$ it will have a little affect on being well known what it needs is support from businesses and governments to make it successful.

Support from governments will never happen because all governments are anti-bitcoin. It is because bitcoin stops all taxation and the government's revenue is stopped. However more business accepting bitcoin can cause a price surge which is definitely helpful.

The main source of price increase is the number of traders and traded volume of bitcoin.

When the bitcoin price is high and the market cap is large, more big investment funds will invest in it so the price will be higher.
Many of them found online are ponzi schemes and HYIP/MLM - all of which are pure scams. Most people think bitcoin = money for scammers and hence I do not know how much this will help the economy.
