Yeah, since this thread started BTC's gone up almost 20%, they sort of price miners accordingly.

... 150$ S9s? Please do you have any link or contact? All what I've found it's 385usd per unit.

Used via Kaboomracks, but they are back to 230ish now. A few months ago when bitcoin was under 4k... And along those, the used M3s from Pangolin at $50 (now gone), oh and the m3x back then was $75.

I made this capture from the Pangolin shop in January:

That gives us nothing to work with. Where the seller lives and country of origin means nothing....
WHO is the seller or what is the company name you are asking about?

GZ Woao Trad e Co., Ltd. BTC LTC DASH ETH MINER - from Aliexpress.

do you mean pangolinminer.com ?

I have purchased over 10000 USD in gear from them.

they should be good for you.

they have a telegram  site if you go to the website you can look for telegram link and ask what used miners they have.

https://pangolinminer.com/

this should get you into telegram

https://telegram.me/PangolinMinerOfficial

I post on the channel at times.

It's not Pangolinminer... It's a seller on Aliexpress.

I know about pangolinminer.com it's good price but it's pre-order and can't wait till August/September to start mining.

Great find, like PassThePopcorn was saying $/Th, $230/11.5=$20 per TH including shipping!

https://pangolinminer.com/ was selling used S9 13.5T not too long ago for $130 plus shipping but they were gone in a couple of days. Grab those M3X while you can, doubt anyone will sell you just 1 to try, deals on used miners come and go quickly.

That deal is very good.

The low power firmware allows 1600/1700watts  and 10th.

Since your power is free  10th earns about 0.0003715 btc a day or 2.12 usd a day so 110 days you are paid off. As you have free power.

No, here don't have any restriction for mining. I have a problem, I ask them to buy 1 unit and after I will buy more... it's because I don't trust anyone who sells second hand miners. Also shipping is too high.

However I've found now M3X for 230usd (inc. p5 psu&shipping)..M3X have high power consumation but for start isn't good?

You have to buy in bulk and use a broker to get good prices on used s9s.

And since you are not in a mining friendly country it may be hard to do.

I know more then one country that restricts imports of gear.

Even the USA is now taxing at a very high rate of 27.6% and trump is saying he wants to raise more !

I tried sending a few to Egypt and restrictions were very hard to do so. Brokers sometimes can get around restrictions.  A purchased of 20 or 30 units can be done by them.

Sometimes they may find a guy in your own country. So import rules don’t apply.

If you don’t like the one I mentioned try kaboomracks. He has been doing international deals.

Thank you so much for all.

But 200$ it's impossible...

In my country I can't buy even a M3 / M3X with 200$... I talked with a seller in Alibaba to buy some miners and shipping was 190$ DHL/Fedex.

What is wrong with new S9j's?

The price is far too high.

I know you are not in USA but I can not stress more then if you go s9 of any kind used is better.

200 used  with a psu  vs 400 new with a psu

pretend you have the power to run 20 of them

so 30 x 200 = 6000 USD

and

20 x 400 = 8000 USD

So from the start you are 2000 USD ahead.

run the 30 units at slow speed you use 30 x 800 = 24000 watts    you do about  30 x 9.5 th  =  285 th

run the new units at medium speed you use 20 x 1200 = 2400 watts  you do about  20 x 13 th = 260 th

so you are 2000 ahead with the old ones
you are 25th ahead with the old ones
you use the same amount of power.

yes the old ones will break faster  so one breaks in a month  you lose 800 watts and 9.5th

just set two to higher speed  they use that missing 800 watts and they add 7th  which is a drop to 282.5th

you still using same power and are  at 282.5 vs 260

you end up tied in power once 10  used ones break down  but I can bet it would take many months for that to happen.

and you are still the original 2000 Usd ahead by buying used  gear along with all the months you had more hash power  since used starts at  285th and new starts with 260 th.

I just made you about 2 grand Plus maybe 6 months of 12.5th  hashpower which is  300 more .

so used 30 used s9s  at 200  is about 2300 better then 20 new s9s at 400 after a six month time period.

but you need a broker or a source for the gear.

I am just giving you simple math here.

I mine with a lot of used s9's paid 150 to 250 with psu's included doing it since dec and around 3 or 4 of 24 have worked poorly (still work but poorly).

while 20 or 21 work well.

Cannot stress enough to do proper electric infrastructure by a qualified electrician, you have a lot of free electricity that can make you BTC or fry the proverbial goose, literally fry.

Most of second hand miners are supplied by Chinese and As the BTC price rises they increase the price. Today I inquiry from China for 20 second hand, S9s  , 13.5 TH (30 days warranty remains) including psu for 246 $ without shipping cost.

You can buy that it's too cheap but are those used units strong ? No.

Everywhere Alibaba Aliexpress eBay etc. I've asked sellers about lifespan of an used S9s and their response was "if you run it 24/7 it will be dead after 6 months."

So buying used S9s cannot calculate profits, they say 6 months but it may be dead after few weeks, who knows.

I do not trust him, what I see he have sold many miners but no one have rated him here, that's why I do not trust also his personal website is a joke not from a professional.

One big enough to handle the amount of power you are using. That in turn depends on your power line voltage, if using 208v then the 40kw you mentioned = 192.3amps feeding the circuit breaker panel. That gets split up depending on how much power each individual miners uses. For s9 and such (around 1,250w each) you can use a 15A outlet to power 2 miners.

You need to work with a licensed electrician to get the proper power outlets and circuit breakers wired per your area codes. If you do not do this for a living DO NOT just follow internet opinions about wiring. The risk of electrocution or fire is too great.

I've asked a electrican and he told me for that power it's needed a cable 35kV, cost is very high for 35kV in my country. He told me may cost 3-5kEur.

Note I sent a pm to you.

Hello,

I have found larger quantity of used S9s 13.5TH/S for 436‬USD (inc. shipping) per miner.

Does it worth buying them, I have free electricity up to 960kWh.

Also there is a problem, there are used s9s .. ROI per unit it's 4.6 months with the current profit. Can one used S9s works 24/7 for minimum of 5 months?

Dude you want used ones 200 with a psu is easy to find.

First off  what country are you in?

Second  how hot is your space?

Do you have the correct wire setup?

If you are USA based I could help you fairly easy.

If you not in USA  you should work with a broker
