Rumors that Dogecoin is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it.
Because dogecoin is nothing like bitcoin. I doubt any website would directly accept dogecoin unless they are using some sort of thirdparty payment gateway (like coingate). One of the reason is that the price is quite unstable.

It was initially made as a "joke"/"meme" coin, but it became quite popular with an active community. People then started using it as a coin to "tip" people on different forums and places.
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
It gets pumped and dumped a lot. So if you are willing to take the risk and you manage to join at the right moment, you will make some quick profit.

You mean like faucet? Not sure, but it's not worth joining. You will collect dusts only and waste your time. You would be able to utilize you time and earn better doing something more efficient like selling your skills.
