Dogecoin price has lately been rising sharply. But I don't think that it would ever match the bitcoin. But in 2018 we may see a sharp rise in its price.

You lost your case there, we do not want high supply in fact the supply of dogecoin is not high is infinite, that is why the fees can be that cheap, but are we going to sacrifice store of value over speed of transaction? To me that is a bad deal, money is supposed to be a store of value, look at gold, a currency that does not do that is bound to fail. Think about it.

Dogecoin will always be the same, it has been freezed for more than months between 20-40 satoshis, and it was more than 400 satoshis on July, the price in BTC will never recover from that decrease.
Nothing is gonna get termed to be another bitcoin. However high the growth might be achieved, but the same won't last for a larger time period as well very few will pass hurdles with ease. For the reason I don't find dogecoin to reach to such a level. Also the usage is very low compared to the volume of bitcoin into circulation.

Dogecoin still remains what it was created to be, which is a "Joke coin". It was never meant to be taken seriously as coin. There are other altcoins which meaningful usecase that can take the place of Bitcoin.

Dogecoin uses a combination of proof of meme and proof of doge, apparently, it is the most secure cryptocurrency around with low fees, high tx speed. Definitely a hold for the long term.....and Merry Christmas 
Wow! that is a good news for all of us, but still I prefer bitcoin among other coins, but just like bitcoin I would also love holding doge as we are seeing that it is good nowadays just like other coins and I am loving it for what it is going so far. Low fees are really a great advantage for a traders.

There is no cryptocurrency that the same with bitcoin. Dogecoin is an old currency which is a generation of bitcoin. Bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, dogecoin adn etc are the old coin but bitcoin is the best of all. Think about it.

Dogecoin has been around for ages, while similar to bitcoin in a lot of ways it's not nearly as useful as bitcoin and is nothing more than a joke currency. It will never amount to much, the huge supply will always limit that as well as the overall sentiment in the community.

Dogecoins isn't a joke. I believe this coin should be forever... It's my next favorite cryptocurrency after Bitcoins.
New bitcoins can't be because he's the only one. Bitcoin now has some difficulties to apply because of the very high price of the transaction. It's really a problem. Bitcoin is very conservative and slow to react to modern challenges. But I am convinced that the scalability problem will be solved in the next year and we will see a new more current version of bitcoin.
Dogecoin is showing its power in different intervals. It is one of the famous coin for faucets. Also Due to its high demand and popularity it is not getting sink and lost in cyberspace.

I don't think dogecoin like that even many coins have the same characteristics of bitcoin but they are still cheap so we can't list the coins based on their characteristics.But in few more years the price may increase but it is not a good idea to compare with the bitcoin.
