I don't think dogecoin was ever dormant in any way, only people just move on to more profitable projects starting from 2017 during the bull market and people ignore dogecoin since nothing serious about the project as of then, but for some reason the dogecoin team keep pushing this project and eventually got the attention of the big exchange, and boom! Everything change for dogecoin and now the fame keeps raising thanks to tiktok.
You know it won't last long. You can see it now, the impact of the hype is over and you can see the doge has decreased. their market has been bigger than before, many people are interested but that will not make the price better. only a fast pump occurs and then a decrease occurs.

actually it is good to attract people to invest in cryptocurrency, tiktok is one application that is a trend in millennials, so this is a positive action against crypto because doge has collaborated with tiktok even though the truth is still in doubt.

Well not all investors and traders really believe in aspect. Some of them are likely bullish on hype like what happened on dogecoin. They anticipate that the price would skyrocket due to the news and take advantage of this event. Surely give them a huge profits without doing any hard analysing of the market conditions. Technical aspect is important but learning to ride hype can also give you some income. Im not saying jump in, Im not a fan of hype pump and dump too, and more conservative when it comes to trading. The growth of Dogecoin taking place in the wake of the hype around tiktok is a temporary phenomenon, and it is obvious that in the near future Doge will fly away to where it was. We observe such surges periodically, therefore it is high time to sell at a good price. I have already done so.

Even thought Dogecoin created as a meme fun coin it is a really good entry point for all the new users in the cryptocurrency market to learn about it without spending too much money and learn and experiment with the coins you have and the transaction charges are really low and faster and the market usually rises once every year which is really cool and now the hype challenge is great as it created major change in the price.
I agree, I actually thought that it has only have value because of a cute dog but its blockchain is a must try for every newbies. Thats what I like about doge, their fee is not high and most of the time it is the one Im using for my transactions.This hype really helps but we should expect a pull back on its surge. This event shows that fundamentals are really strong for coins and tokens valuation.
I am sure that in the future cryptocurrency will not only one platforms such as tiktok where that are synchronized on the dogecoin project which is currently widely used by people even though in some countries there are restrictions on their use, hopefully this will be the right moment while they are still using it so the potential for pumping can reach 50%.

There was some hype does not mean that it will reach to $1, not possible at all. There are a lot of bag holders who will dump Doge at above 100 satoshi, I will dump too if it reaches more than 80 satoshi because I will get more than 2x return if it hits 80 sat.
