This challenge is enough to make a scene of the Doge community because it has been able to pump half of it after the Meme tiktok, yes I admit that tiktok is an application with many users today even the most best-selling application today.
But I will use the increase to sell it, I do not know how in the future it is only in my mind that this is only temporary to become viral.

Tiktok already lost 200 million users since when India banned them from their country and now America is most likely to ban them as well so this is going to get nagative impact on the project and do you really think people spending time on Toktok ever thought about investing? Tongue

From those who see crypto / doge as a scam currency, they will surely doubt this investment
and won't bite this ideas.
Though there are also people who are already into this business that might take part but
due to what information that you provide.
For sure it will be a ride to take where open opportunities showed up and give crypto peps
to take advantage with this popular apps.

I hope that many people will stop using TikTok because of what it really has. But I like the idea of Dogecoin challenge but we can always do that even without TikTok.
Why stopped tiktok? With our current situation, I think this is a good way to pass time and ease our boredom. Yes its only a fun app but sometime, this could help us ij our stressful time like in the time of covid.
Ok if that's what you think. But I, we have warned everybody about the spyware that this app contains. I'm not a fan of the group of Hacktivist Anonymous but they always come out for the good of everyone when they are telling a message to us.

but that could not be held as long term event, and it will go down sharply at the end
Exactly the point is for hype. So eventually the price will go down and I can already see it happening. Traders should realize the Sell Button soon or else the profits would be gone. Im not against dogecoin, but I cant seem to understand why people pay attention with this project cause its development is clearly outdated. I will bet my money on defi project than this one seriously.

Not just with that. It's now exposed that they've been hiding a spyware and various articles have been made for that to let the other knows who are not great with Cyber Security.

I have many friends using Tiktok and as far as I know, they don't know much about cryptocurrency especially a not so active token like the Dodgecoin. Probably a hype that its hard to get the attention of tiktokers, its hard to believe on this one.  Cheesy

This is still a nice try by the Dodgecoin, let's see if they will succeed to pump the price or it will stay on its current level.

Tiktok originates from China and since there's a tension between this two big countries, people in India are doing their best to boycott all the possible Chinese products and even the technology, well I also heard that Tiktok will leave Hongkong as well.

that is good thing to happen with dogecoin. Tiktok is very popular to the teenagers and middle aged in the internet today it will for sure pump the price of dogecoin when there is a huge adoption on this cryptocurrency. $1 is a bit too far from happening yet still im hopeful.

yeah, i have read somewhere that for useful coins development and new events could create upswing price action, but for a "joke meme crypto" as their founder calls dogecoin, meme could call for price upswing, but that could not be held as long term event, and it will go down sharply at the end

I would definitely not mind if Doge reaches $1. But until then, there is still a long way to go... dreaming  Roll Eyes
In general it is interesting to see what influence tiktok can have and I'm already curious how high the price will go.

The one creating the hype must have purchased a large amount of dogecoin and now wants to dump them on unsuspecting investors.
I don't feel any sympathy to the people who would get butthurt for not being able to get a profit from the hype as it would be a lesson to those lazy sheep.
People should not come to crypto without knowing it. They should at least have some idea about the working principle and economics before jumping in to invest.

I am seeing a classic Bitconnect scam right here but with real and reputable coin. This is really bad to be honest. Ones investors starts dumping those coins in the market to those people who doesn't even know what cryptocurrency is, there will be news around the world on how cryptocurrency is a scam again. This kind of hype will not last long though.

The best what current and nearest future bounty campaign could do is to run a tiktok campaign  Smiley The first one will be the richest.
It was obvious that cryptocurrency would one day get on a hype wave and get pumped. Few years ago only twitter and facebook were popular among social network campaign, year ago instagram started to appear amount bounty pulls. Now it is tiktok time.

As tiktok audience is new to crypto, alts like cryptocoin or token (or something of that kind) wont do. Tiktokers can be caught on the hook with something that has "bitcoin" in its name.

People have always used social media for pumping and dumping of coins, on an video media like Tik Tok, the users involved in such fake pumps and dump would be easily discarded if the profile is with real user pics. People are curious about crypto and such hype would certainly make people fall for the trend. It would be a negative image for crypto if people get a loss on following this hype. So, it's necessary for us to let people know the crypto market and how it operates and how dogecoins are made.

I am not really sold into that hype. Already sold my DOGE in late 2017 when it was really “mooning” before the great Bitcoin crash in early 2018. It was a funny coin indeed, but kinda surprised that DOGE still has enormous daily trading volume as of today.

In my own instinct, I think the reason these TikTokers wanna do this is for their followers to buy DOGE, and then they would dump it once they hit the target price. Just my own opinion though.

On a positive note, they create cryptocurrency awareness to TikTokers worldwide, and that’s the good thing. I would definitely look forward if these TikTokers gonna have Bitcoin, Ethereum or any other coins with real use case in their TikTok challenge.

This time to sell.

It has been going over 50% increase but it looks like the downtrend signal has already appeared. I just try to use this news to dump my doge.  Cheesy that news will bring a short term hype only.

Dogecoin reaching $1 is funny. It's been stagnant for a very long time now and spikes were to be expected. It's just another pump that'll end into nothing more but few traders cashing in and many inexperienced traders losing money like always. If there's one coin that almost always gave traders opportunities to buy, hold and play with pumps & dumps, it's Doge. Expecting it to go to $1 is quite silly imo Smiley

This is pretty funny, very unsurprised it worked. When a meme coin can outperform fiat currencies over 5 years it says a lot about the future of cryptocurrency.

As for the idea of it going to $1, good luck with that. Based on current market cap, if doge's market dominance remains the same in relation to Bitcoin, then doge would reach $1 when Bitcoin reaches $2.5 million (250x roughly). I guess it's possible, but I always assumed once BTC reaches $1m (and therefore having a market cap of $18+ trillion, twice that of gold) then it'd be on the basis of fiat becoming redundant, therefore price going "higher" wouldn't be so relevant, as it wouldn't necessarily be increasing against something of value (like gold). So in hindsight, I guess it's possible ironically. BTC could go from $1m to $100m pretty fast if fiat turns to toilet paper.

Imagining doge with a market cap of $125 billion is still hard to grasp though  Tongue

It's already 54% Right now, Well basically if the timing was good i think it's easy for other crypto to pump but basically because Dogecoin was make for meme on the first place and also as we know "Doge" Or "Shiba Inu" was also meme on the first place before so that was good, atleast it's introduce the crypto to normal people especially for non-crypto people.

I can´t understand the hype, I mean why Dogecoin? Is there a specific reason to it beside that someone called out a challenge? I´m not sure if a pump-and-dump on Dogecoin is a good way top represent cryptos on a social network.  As for TikTik itself, people will use VPNs and continue using it, even though that will decrease their user base significantly.
Maybe because dogecoin known as meme coin, and its a good representation of tiktok. Also with this hype, Justin Sun has tweeted about tiktok virial, his really king of hype just because dogecoin made one, he even announced it on his social media that he is going to focus on tron videos going viral. Holy crap guy!
