I like bit.social as the name sounds brandable. Maybe you can come up with something similar like a facebook concept. Get a script and run it on the site. The hardest part would be on getting traffic because you will need to have a good reason for people wanting to visit and then going back there. Something like setting up a meeting place for bitcoiners around a local area and then pay in bitcoins for active participation.

Hi locopao,

I have to agree with krigger here, I think. The first two domains are maybe not in the premium range. But the last one is indeed very nice.

I'm no expert (read my other posts for effortless confirmation of this!) but I have been doing alot of reading lately, and one thing I keep noticing is this:

There is a very strong feeling among many newcomers that they have "missed the boat" on Bitcoin. I too felt this way when I started trying to get involved (which is very recent) and I am not entirely sure that I have grown out of this feeling.

HOWEVER!

What is ALSO true is that Bitcoin is in its infancy. The market cap is tiny so far, and widespread adoption has only barely started to gain any real traction. And what I mean by all that is that there is some serious scope to be at the center of the thing when it does take off - which I believe it will.

So...to sum up.

There is an amazing opportunity for a bridging resource between those two feelings. These forums, and particularly the Beginners board, are a great intro, but it's overwhelming at first. It's also a very curious mix of technical, mathematical, clueless, shady, scammy, expert, hopeful, begging and many many more things. So it can be tricky sometimes to sift through it to find the juicy bits.

I think you could do alot with that third domain. Don't take the above as the definitive way to go - I am a complete newbie when it comes to this world! There are many here who could expand on that though, or steer you to richer veins.

Best of luck Smiley

1) xbt.money - no, it's crypto

what do you mean? I think XBT is the BTC alternative, this is how Kraken & CNN Money shows it, i think... I might be wrong though.

I agree about bit.social.  It sounds like... i don't know, i just like it.

Think he meant that Bitcoin is 'cryptocurrency' not 'money', but he's wrong as 'money' is not limited to 'fiat money'.

If you don't know what to do with domains, you can list them for sale on Marketplace board.

bit.social sounds really good, but cannot think of any type business it could be used for, other than maybe some social networking (not necessarily bitcoin related), but we already have plenty of those. I wouldn't be selling this one cheap though.

Maybe you should first structure your business plan and then acquire suitable domain name for it. Smiley
