Trump is interested in anything that will give him profit, and crypto has proven to give him that, and he has seen the benefits of using crypto currency to some extent and will want to promote it as he knows the youth for whom he needs their vote are primarily crypto supporters, so he can do anything to win their vote.
During the time of NFT, he was part of the businessmen who enjoyed the royalties out of it, and he made millions of dollars from the NFT market alone. These are just the ones that were publicised, and they know how much more he has made behind the news.
And the selling fee of his ETH does not affect anything at all, either he still has more stack somewhere or he just wants to sell them off to remove the eyes from the wallet.

i guess if trump is a little interested in crypto about its advantages and uses i guess if he becomes president he will make policies that will benefit traders in the country, who knows 
he benefitted from the crypto project i can't see why not. now that is has earned from crypto I think he will become a crypto-friendly president after all he also doesn't want CBDC.
though he got those ETH for free through those NFT royalties, it's still a big mistake to sell it while the bull run hasn't come yet. he has tons of money so there is no reason for him to sell them.

He is a businessman. He knows where good money comes from. This market is too good to be ignored True, yeah he made millions of $ from that, and Im pretty sure he also holds some coins, maybe BTC or ETH.
He has sold his 1st series of NFT starting 2022 then he launched the 2nd series in 2023 which sold out within 24 hours after its launch.
I will be not surprised either if he launches the 3rd series in this year/near the election.
