It is time for the cryptocurrencies community to play an important role for humanity, the ease of sending cryptocurrencies will save many people, and I hope the most important thing is proper management, transparency in the blockchain network will be easy for us to see so that donations can be received to the right people.

That should be big enough news to matter to everyone but for some reason people do not realize how important that is.

I think many people do not realize this because the market has not reacted with a loud rise or fall, almost all the time since the beginning of the war, the flat trend continues, and only now are some changes. News of the donations seemed to be in the air, and everyone froze in anticipation of the consequences.

They already said that donations are going to the affected people in Ukraine and if you donate you must donate on the official addresses only so that you are sure that they are legit. Giving items can be the same as giving money because if it goes in the wrong hands, they can re sell the item or use it for their own good but an item is not a currency because a currency is like a money, the one that we use for buying.

Maybe if you can see the people that need help, you will not hesitate donating a currency on them? If only that was possible but for now it isn't because the war in Ukraine is still ongoing. You can wait for the war to calm down before you can go there, if you plan to hand out donations directly.
The fact that Ukraine was capable of sharing their own addresses do make a big amount of difference, the reality is that we are talking about literally sending money directly to treasury of a whole foreign nation. Isn't that just awesome? I mean I get that people could be a bit used to sending money to each other.

But, we are talking about a situation where one nation is in a war, another nation is attacking them, and you are not sending money to like UNICEF or whatever, you are sending money literally to their governmental accounts. That should be big enough news to matter to everyone but for some reason people do not realize how important that is.

Another week, another donation. Thanks to Hhampuz for his reliable campaign management, this is allowing me to help Ukrainians directly in a way I did not think possible before crypto. And, yes there is always a bank transaction but I am much happier with the pseudo=anonymity I get from a bitcoin transaction and I can do that simply by posting in this forum with the help of you all.

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/a184af905d9442cfb8acfc9f46fe233a65f44165c57f1bf0fa7c5cb645a4f43b
Yes, this had been a helpful medium or path on which people could make out donations without exposing of your identity which is most prefererable
currently they are getting $17M in overall donation as of this moment https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/357a3So9CbsNfBBgFYACGvxxS6tMaDoa1P
and to those people who do give out donations on times like this is totally commendable or does really shows off sympathy.

Legit addresses are the only place you should donate into. It is sad that people are expecting something in return, there are too many people asking what will happen with their donations and if there will be some airdrop tokens or NFT's or anything like that. This is a real shame because when you donate then you should donate without expecting anything in return.

If you are expecting something in return then we are talking about investment and you are not donating to help Ukraine, you are donating so that you could get something in return that you could sell and make a profit. That is not how donations work, that is how investments work.

This is a RELATIVE detailed report on at least one of the ukraine donation wallets

https://glasschain.org/blog/Bitcoin_Donations_for_Ukraine

I am personally not donating bitcoin as I am not sure, its going where it should go. But that is really my personal opinion. Same applies for fiat money donations.
I helped with giving usefull items and a place (which i believe is the ultimate currency for refugees).

I don't quite understand what you want to show with this link, and how it correlates with your subsequent assertion that you are not donating money because you are unsure of the legitimacy of the funds that raise it. In my opinion, there are clear transactions, how money came in and how it was withdrawn out of the wallet. You can't expect them not to be spent. Here you can see what needed items were bought for crypto.

...

This wallet belongs to the charity fund "Come Back Alive", therefore, some purchases were paid directly in cryptocurrency and you can track which wallet the payment was made to. The cryptocurrency that arrived at the official wallet of the government was converted by the FTX cryptocurrency exchange into fiat and credited to the account of the National bank of Ukraine, so all transactions cannot be tracked.

How can I be sure that this is an official donation from the Ukrainian government. We were unable to verify that the address provided was purely from the Ukrainian government. ..

If you had the desire, you could easily conduct your own research to figure out on your own who owns the specified OP address for donations. These wallets were posted on the official Twitter page of Ukraine on February 26, 2022: https://twitter.com/Ukraine/status/1497594592438497282 In addition, they are posted on the official website of "Aid For Ukraine" https://donate.thedigital.gov.ua/

If helping Ukraine I prefer to use other means through international organizations whose legality is clear. Not that I don't believe it, but living there is more important. Don't let us be wrong in our actions when helping.

Donations for Ukraine are still pouring in, as Alex Bornyakov's Twitter feed says that he continues to receive large donations to fight Russia and the growing needs of its citizens.

I believe that without crypto, Ukraine would have done a lot worse. This tells so much too. I mean it is not just about the fact that we have crypto that makes people richer by trading or investing, we literally changed the course of a war.

With hundreds of millions of dollars donated all over the world to Ukraine, they managed to get a lot more drones, weapons, armors, food and so forth to help themselves. It allowed them to actually get better and eventually allowed them to defend their nation a lot better than they otherwise could. Sure NATO and EU and so forth is helping them as well but they are slow and crypto is a lot faster.

And not only that. Cryptocurrencies, along with other subsidies, allowed us not only to ask for weapons, but also to buy them. Some countries are not ready to provide weapons to Ukraine just like that. And we really need it. If we could only count on being "gifted", we would lose a lot of time, because in the first days of the war, assistance in all areas was not so large-scaled. And the first days were the most important. Therefore, the very opportunity to buy weapons was and still is vital for us. The crypto community immediately began raising funds for the army, weapons, and now, I hope, to help refugees. On behalf of all Ukrainians, I want to thank everyone who made a donation to protect our future!

...We have seen Ukraine officials saying they have used 100+ million dollars from crypto donations to buy guns, weapons, drones, food, armours and many other things to help their people fight off Russia and win. That is a great thing considering how we are on the right side of the world right now...

I have not found information anywhere about $100 million in cryptocurrency that came as a donation for Ukraine. According to the official website of Aid For Ukraine https://donate.thedigital.gov.ua / over the past 21 days, approximately $55 million in cryptocurrency has been collected in total.
According to an aggregated article that I have read, it says ukraine has received almost $100 million in crypto. 60 million was transferred to the official wallet address of the Ukrainian government and the rest was transferred to the addresses of other organizations.
