I believe that there are a lot better situations with crypto and Ukraine being on the spotlight right now. We have seen Ukraine officials saying they have used 100+ million dollars from crypto donations to buy guns, weapons, drones, food, armours and many other things to help their people fight off Russia and win. That is a great thing considering how we are on the right side of the world right now. That doesn't mean that we can't be really doing badly, neither.

It is also used by Russian corruption to get money out of Russia and into civilized world as well but it all depends on which perspective you are looking at right now.

Until now more than 400 bitcoins were donated to the Ukrainian address but they all had been used to purchase military equipments and not only this but many government also helped them with money but this is leading to any difference in this war?
It's true that the latest that I've seen being donated to them is $200M by the US. There's no other priority that they're going to use with those funds but through military equipment to counter the assault being done by Russia.
I guess that's the best that they can do with those donations but I'm sure that there's a budgeting and allocation for those funds but how we'll know? I don't know but if there's any, for sure there is.

Do we have any reliable sources to prove this claim?
Because some of the mainstream media are also spreading fake news.
However, If this is true, the. i can say this is just an ordinary reaction to a country who's going to be annihilated If they are not going to strengthen their defense by adding more military fire power. Yes, there is no difference in to war even with that huge donations, but they also need to defend themselves that's the least most countries can do.

The wallet address provided by @paxmao is very correct, I believe by now lot's of scammers will already be sending different wallet address to different people to make donation, which all of them are scammers, I believe lot's of people will want to use this opportunity to scam people, if you want to make donation make sure you confirm the wallet address first before sending the bitcoin to avoid sending your bitcoin to scammer.

i don't know if this is good news or bad, if the bitcoins they earn, they use for war purposes, isn't that donation totally ineffective.  many donors made donations to save Ukrainian citizens not for war funding, hopefully in the future the Ukrainian government can be wiser in managing these funds, so that donors don't feel cheated.

Its not the war purpose, they defend themselves and children. there are Defensive systems in military equipment which may be used to defend civilians. Even if they buy Javelines it won't be for the ,,war purposes''. this would be more helpful for citizens rather than other things as of now.

This is a good way to support Ukraine and boost their morale during these hard times. Many people in the crypto community poured their donations as a support to the citizens of Ukraine and this will surely a big help to them. In fact they bought military equipment using bitcoin that people donated to them.
I think it's a good move and certainly deserves appreciation because as a result of this war almost all Ukrainian civilians were affected and became victims.
they lost everything and with the donation it could at least help them,
what is clear is humanity above all and hope that the war can end soon

This weeks donation for the Ukrainian people, fresh from my campaign earnings this weekj. It is important to keep up donating now. The war is intensifying and many civil has been affected on Putin's botched war of aggression. Do not give up! And for people serving on Putin's army: do not die for Putin, and old man sending the young to die in his name.

The presence of cryptocurrencies makes it easy to donate, there is no need for a bank network which of course cannot operate, especially since many countries limit transfers to banks in countries that are at war, namely Russia and Ukraine, but I hope that donations to Ukraine should never be used for scams because I saw in many telegram groups asking for donations for ukraine.
Thanks to cryptocurrencies. However, as more donations for Ukraine are coming on its way, smart scammers are also starting to be rampant. So don't just send to any random wallet addresses that are posted asking for donations for Ukraine because for sure it would go to the hands of scammers. Verify them first. Look for the official statements made by their government officials. Well, anyone can make donations regardless of the amount, be it big or small, it will do a lot for them. As long as all the donations are going in its right place, then it will be a very big help for all the victims in a war.

In Ukraine, there are OFFICIAL, STATE funds that collect and distribute donations in the most popular areas. There are both currency and crypto accounts! Please do not donate to "private funds" as most likely these are fraudulent resources.

I'm sure that more and more people claiming to be victims in Ukraine are asking for donations, the most important thing the Ukrainian government can do is only recommend trusted people or institutions to manage aid in the form of cryptocurrencies.
scammers will definitely take advantage of this moment as well as possible, when again they can get money from "claiming" to be victims of war.  then it only sends donations to addresses distributed by government officials, don't believe in claims from individuals.

Plus, they do not need 10 billion dollars in cash, they need infrastructure that is worth 10 billion dollars. So, what do they need? Hospitals? Well, some nation could donate 10 hospitals, pay for it, or do it themselves. Schools? We could get some celebs paying for many schools, then the whole world could get together, and logistic companies like DHL say it will be free to send school supplies to Ukraine, and suddenly we would be rebuilding it...
Now it is impossible to determine the amount of money that will be required to restore the infrastructure of Ukraine, because the war is not over yet. To date, the war has already caused Ukraine losses of $100 billion - this was told by the adviser to the President of Ukraine on economic issues Oleg Ustenko, reports https://focus.ua/ukraine/509001-voyna-uzhe-nanesla-ukraine-ubytkov-na-100-mlrd-sovetnik-zelenskogo
That is not what I mean. I mean that they do not need it in cash form. You can't just write 100 billion dollars to them and get all of it done, I mean you could, but that would be a very inefficient way of doing it. What I mean is, if it is a school they need, you can build a school there, if it is a hospital, then you build that, if it is a library then you do that, if it is houses then you do that.

All in all, when we are talking about huge nations, like European ones, or the USA, then we could talk about the fact that they could literally send "things" that will help them rebuild instead of just cash. Obviously money is important as well, but sending "things", even as little as bricks, do matter in this case.

Doesn't matter how strong or weak they could be right now, they are definitely standing strong against Russians, and your donations (depending on where you do it to) could help immensely during a time like this. Even if Ukraine is doing fine, even if it is just to show support.

I am sure that 1 million dollars from one person versus 1 dollar from 1 million people have a difference, seeing too many people helping you and supporting you will always matter the most. There is nothing wrong with helping and showing support, even if your help is very little, even if you donated just 1 dollar, that is still better than just watching and not doing anything.
Ukrainians are probably in need of more foods and medicines these days, especially the children. So the best thing we can do is to send donations that could cater to all their basic needs, particularly for all those who are wounded be it children or adults. And if we can donate even a very least amount, that will be a very big help for all the victims of the war. Ukraine may be totally down for now, but if all the people in the world will be united to send donations, their recovery may be easier for them.

I certainly agree with this. The intention is good because Ukraine really needs help, especially children but we also have to be careful because some people are just taking advantage of the situation. It could also be another reason for hacking since it will surely involve huge funds. It would be better if we'll have an assurance that our donations would really go to needy people in Ukraine.
This is why we need to verify first the wallet address before sending donations because that may fall into wrong people and they will be more lucky to benefit our money than for those who are really in need. But anyways, i admire you OP for having a kind heart for all the victims. Hopefully, this thread will encourage more kind people to donate some of their extra income so they can also share what they currently have.

To date, $10 billion is needed to restore the destroyed infrastructure. But as you understand, this is an intermediate figure that will increase with each next day of the ongoing war. And accordingly, until the war is stopped and the economy is restored, Ukraine will still need donat.
I do not have that kind of money, unless bitcoin makes an unsuspected run, however, to the difference of Putin's citizens, I can influence the politics of my country to make sure that help is allocated when the reconstruction becomes possible. For now, we need to help Ukraine survive as a free and independent state.

So, it is not always about money directly, sure money would be fine as well, but we could always do items that are required as well. I mean that is what they will spend their money on anyway, so sending the supplies itself would not be too different at all. When the war is over, there could be donation run unlike anything we saw in humanity before.
