There is no doubt we made 1 massive mistake. There is no doubt that we deserve a majority of this negative criticism. And while we are bummed to see a lot of people walk away from this project, and to see great pools like Supernova shut down -- we also recognize that Supernova, and many of you are in this to make money -- and so we are working rigorously over here to try to get everything into a more stable and indelible form, so that each of you can make money and support a great cause at the same time.

This is all taking a lot of time (that we did not plan for), and a lot of money (that we did not plan for), and so we will do the best we can to be as omnipresent as circumstances allow. Keep in mind that both Hyrum an I have young families, demanding jobs, and limited time -- and so this unforeseeable obstacle really screwed a lot of things up. You might ask if we had so much on our plates why would we even bother launching a coin with how demanding it can be? I think that is a fair question.

As you can imagine by now, what transpired in the last couple of weeks was not supposed to happen. We hired developers who have a pretty solid coin portfolio, and it was just an honest mistake. We reviewed with them our complex math multiple times -- and the main developer just accidentally went off the wrong formula. We can sit here and point fingers all day long and give his name and address to start the witch hunt -- but that is not going to get us anywhere, and at the end of the day, it was our fault for launching when we did and not doing more testing. We had planned on hiring on more people like Paul to help run the day-to-day as we focus our time and resources on nailing down new small businesses to partner up with, and to reach out to our media contacts to line up more news coverage outside of the crypto-community. So everything came to a crashing halt a couple weeks ago and we are now doing the best we can with the limited time that we have to get back on the horse and keep going.

I will continue to check in on here at least once a day, but until we have been given a 150% green light that everything has been working flawlessly for at least 3-5 days... we will continue to be working behind the scenes as we prepare for the recovery campaign.

I hope this gets sorted out - I wouldn't jump ship to H20 myself if I didn't have to.  CWC seems to have everything else in order for longevity except the blockchain (albeit that is critical), otherwise the ideas, the vision, the nice website, the marketing..all there to make this something that people would get behind just like EMC2..

Hopefully there are pools that will pick it back up.  I'm speaking to you supernova!

Update: In order to not bloat the blockchain with testnet, we have cloned the coin and are making some great progress with testing everything out. Right now we have been mining the coin and moving it around to see if we get any more issues with the TX bug that some people were getting. We should be getting an update again from our developers tomorrow.

My new conf file, got me up to block 14117 at time of writing.

Did you delete everything in the roaming folder except wallet and conf file and let it download the blockchain again?

funny you should post this, I did some testing adn noticed that those 2 nodes were the only ones connecting to the 14K block number.

So I  made a new conf with only those two.

Still, my wallet is not synching and I am 282 blocks behind.
still stuck on 13783 of 14065

ditto - my wallet stopped syncing on the previous node list but now works with just these 2.

I did, but it has now gone  All I can say is DEVELOPERS!! FOUNDERS??!! ZACH?!!!!! Are any of you reading this and can you PLEASE make an appearance and sort these problems out, or at least tell us how and when you WILL sort them out???
