digital payments are the same as we transact using bitcoin, the difference is that bitcoin is not yet fully used as a benchmark to become a legal tender.
but I believe that one day the digital era will make changes in the economy for the betterment of the world..
There's no need for bitcoin to be actually be declared as a legal tender because we as a community have declared it on our own. And it has been used the same way for years and we don't care about the government ruling. When the government declares the same, that's just a bonus of good news.

And you forgot to mention the other difference, bitcoin is a deflationary currency unlike fiat which is an inflationary currency.

as time goes by, people will replace the old one with new one. all of them, because we take a forward step.
unfortunately, many people believe that this is scam. know just for negative perspective from unknown person. and afraid to find the truth about bitcoin cause of laziness. hard to take a fact when someone told them about knowledge.

Is important to know the difference between digital and virtual. Money becomes virtual in the first world war when it stopped having gold as a backup of its value, and it becomes digital when banks start making plastic cards and checks.

So, bitcoin isn't the first digital money, is the first digital decentralized money, and that's the difference, but already most of the money moves in a digital way. People don't want to have cash with them nowadays.

Bitcoin is not the first digital money, previously there has been a version of digital money that makes it easy for many people to make transactions, for example, most companies are able to pay their employees by transferring digital payment systems to their ATMs, eliminating the old-fashioned way by giving cash to their employees

In my country we use paper money to buy the cheapest food because we can also pay it by debit cards and mobile payments but they are more expensive.
I think we are all fortunate to know about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies before our governments regulate them.
The community has the power to support it as we are doing so far.
It is imminent that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will replace money for now we are starting with inclusion.

Seriously I believe digital money will soon take over because currently I don't really keep money in my bank account all my money is always in bitcoin and usdt I only withdraw small amount of I need at that moment to my bank account. The way people are keeping money in there bank account is reducing drastically which I believe with time people will definitely stop depositing in there local bank. I believe with time must countries will definitely legalize cryptocurrency.

In essence this is like one thing that is related and deserves to have an important role in economic life and like one thing that is related to the future. Because the role of digital money (Bitcoin) has managed to develop rapidly and get a positive response for various things that can be done.

One thing I don't get about BTC or ETH:
If they are to become legal tender, how exactly should that work? With a supply of 21 mio max and each worth the price of a car, shouldn't it be impossible to break down the coins into fragments? Isn't that part of the idea behind it? If you can split it, it isn't limitless, but you surely can increase the supply.

-Digital books and kindles replaced library books

-Regular mail was replaced by email

-Previously, we took actual photos; now we take digital photos

-Digital music replaced cassettes and CDs.

-We switched to direct deposit from cash or checks.

How often do you actually have cash? It's rare that I do! The next item on this list is money.

Then... Buy Bitcoins.

The time will come when any transaction will be done digitally and cold cash will no longer be used as a medium of exchange but I doubt that digital money would be a BTC or any cryptocurrency coin since the government won't let it happen.

Maybe you are right, now the government's mind is more focused on solving the pandemic problem which has not shown any sign of ending.
The problem of a pandemic does take up almost everyone's time, so it is natural that Bitcoin has not been thought of by the government.
Hopefully this pandemic can end soon, so we can all focus on other things. But if we want to spend a little time learning Bitcoin, Bitcoin should be
an opportunity to make money in a pandemic situation like now. As you have said Bitcoin can be used for investment, meaning that we can make
money simply by buying Bitcoin. Moreover, the volatile price allows Bitcoin to be able to provide bigger and faster profits than Gold.
2 years of the pandemic makes the government work hard to solve and prevent the virus. And that makes people can not go to any place with freely. Their concern is still trying to make money from many sources and not stop doing that to survive the hard situation. If they know about bitcoin, they will try to make money and used it for investment besides making money for their daily lives. The digital era has come to make people aware and need to adapt to use the benefit from the digital itself, which can help them survive in this pandemic.

Yes, we all hope the pandemic can end soon, and we can have a better life.

It is not easy to get the government to accept Bitcoin, because the government does not like Bitcoin that cannot be controlled. The government
already has fiat, which is now starting to adapt by entering the digital era. Which, as you said, is now starting to appear many applications that
can be used for financial transactions, because now almost everyone is starting to switch to cashless payments. But Bitcoin has the advantage of
not only being able to be used as a currency like fiat, Bitcoin can also be used as a digital asset. Which is what makes the future of Bitcoin bright,
therefore hopefully the government can realize that it is very good to make Bitcoin as an alternative payment. Let's just give it time for Bitcoin
to grow, as more and more people own and use Bitcoin, should sooner or later eventually I believe the government can accept Bitcoin.
Besides that, bitcoin can be used for investment, making people like the other benefits of bitcoin. They can start to invest in bitcoin, even for just a small amount of money. Bitcoin is not like gold, and the chance for them to make money will be bigger from bitcoin than gold. I guess the government will realize the benefit of bitcoin, and who knows, after they know about the benefits, they will accept bitcoin and involve in bitcoin, although they have digital money.

But people seem to need to have more patient because the government still focuses on the pandemic and solves the problem. After they can control this pandemic, they will think about other things, and perhaps, bitcoin will be the next thing they will think.

Well, it is not relevant here that paper money ceases to exist, if we take it as a goal in relation to bitcoin, I would say that it is not a priority in the adoption or in what bitcoin seeks.

In fact, if we go to his point of view, none of the old technologies you mention have disappeared are still there, some have even managed to adapt.

This is not in essence where the revolutionary idea of bitcoin is going, in fact if paper money were to disappear, it would not indicate the total adoption of bitcoin.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
we realize that bitcoin cannot replace fiat money, but if you don't believe in digital money I think you are too outdated, because in the digital era everyone is looking for income through digital money, then they invest the currency, to be able to earn profit, then they exchange their money in digital to fiat currency,
Ain't no wrong about still using fiat money, we're all just come from that and we are still good but as the development and technology enhancement has come, it was also important to adopt the newest upgrades. Many people are still not believing about crypto, about Bitcoin as their impression is bad and just a scam thing. Well, it's up to them if they will think bad but for us who know already, we are 5 steps away from them.

But for sure, the time will come that they will open their minds and appreciate the features of digital currency. And to know that it wasn't its purpose to replace fiat money but for us to experience a better and easier life in digital world.

It's too early to make Bitcoin a currency, because there are still many people who don't understand Bitcoin. After all not all countries accept Bitcoin,
Bitcoin still has a long way to go to be actually used by everyone around the world. This is the importance of a lot of education about Bitcoin, so that
many people realize that life will be easier if they use digital money like Bitcoin. But due to lack of government support, the process of introducing
Bitcoin to many people must go through a long process,  because the government is actually afraid that Bitcoin can replace fiat currency.
To use bitcoin as a currency, it needs approval from the government, and I think the government will not easily approve it because they already have fiat, which they can control. Fiat now seems to evolve to digital money because we see that many applications use digital money and people need to deposit their money to that application to pay with that digital payment.

Bitcoin will have a bright future as bitcoin can help people have more options to pay their transactions, and that will not have any limits because bitcoin can cross the border between one country to the other countries. With the growth of technology, the digital era already comes to us, and if we can educate more people about bitcoin, they will try to use bitcoin as like they used the other digital money to pay for what they bought. We need to give more time for bitcoin to grow and invite more people to use and have bitcoin, and while we do not yet reach that phase, we can save our bitcoin in our wallet and wait for that time.

It is not easy to get the government to accept Bitcoin, because the government does not like Bitcoin that cannot be controlled. The government
already has fiat, which is now starting to adapt by entering the digital era. Which, as you said, is now starting to appear many applications that
