Nice way to convince people to get on the crypto train. We just have to come to terms that the wheel  of time has turned and have to move with it,this is a digital age and people might not use crypto but are still digital when paying for stuff...could be leveraging NFC  technology and we need to embrace it.

Now that you mentioned I hardly move with cash on me unless I intend to have a meal away from home and intend to tip the person attending to me.

There is trouble abrewing
i keep buying bitcoin because i believe in freedom being my right not because i think the world is going to change. i don't care if 50 years from now the world is still the same and everyone is using the same corrupt banking system that buries us in debt every day up to our necks. i keep buying bitcoin and increase my financial freedom while everyone else is on a wild goose chase.

In all these examples there is evidence of how the digital version has taken over the previous paper version and how all of these paper-based companies have disappeared.

I agree that money is yet another of these much needed transitions. Crypto seems like a logical option but who knows maybe there could be something else not yet developed... In any case a change to the financial system is but inevitable

I would say not only decentralized but also anonymous if used well. Paper money can be replaced by digital means of payment, as it is happening, cards, payment by mobile or smartwatch.... The point is that digital payments mean a loss of privacy. Your bank, and the central bank of the day will know everything you spend your money on. With Bitcoin used in an astute way and maybe with other cryptos, we will be able to maintain privacy.

Potentially. But let's not kid ourselves, in the current state of Bitcoin software, chances are that the typical person wouldn't be using coinjoins and mixers and such(or probably not even coin control). I'm looking forward to having a genius creating a way for the typical non-technical newbie to easily have privacy to a certain extent(and hopefully without spending much).

Introducing digital money is not easy, we need to grow better than big companies, to attract small communities, I think with the number of large companies using bitcoin masrayat will believe in digital money, because people do not want to take risks in new things.

There's a difference between digital money and digital cash. Bitcoin works like cash and not like credit. Your bitcoins are units that represent you own your money and that no one owes you anything, just like in the previous digital banking-based systems.

Bitcoin is a currency, not a digital representation of fiat and the majority of those centralized exchanges make this hard to be seen clear.

There's Uber for taxi's and there's Airbnb for hotels.

Although we've been using digital money for years, the new thing about bitcoin is that it's revolutionizing the financial industry including the investing and payment sector.

It's a combination of both that hasn't been found before with the existing financial instruments.
And what people don't get about Bitcoin is that it is the Uber and Airbnb of money. It doesn't have any physical properties but you know that they have the power to operate on their specific area of specialty. Let them see bitcoin go up to 100k and have them rush in to buy now that it is too late.

In my country paper money is used way more than you'd imagine. But I still buy Bitcoin, since I expect world to ... evolve. As simple as that.

this is the world of technology which has now almost penetrated all corners of the world, and be grateful that we are lucky people who can easily access everything digitally. while out there there are still villages that are very difficult to reach by the hustle and bustle of technology. like the oldest tribe in the world. and our job is to maintain harmony with each other, not to discriminate against current banknotes or digital money. what we need to change is the system and the understanding of it.

in my country, paper money remains the dominant transaction tool compared to digital money. Don't we have to co-exist between us technology users and those who still cling to conventional systems.

I still often hold cash, because it is the only means I got to transact around here.
Hell, I would go 70% Bitcoin over paper money if it is only widely used here, but it's not.
People still use credit/debit cards over cryptos because they got used to banks.

Your argument is good! However, the digital money revolution will not favor bitcoin. It is definitely a great digital currency common people have embraced. But when we talk about the CBDCs, that will be something controlled by the central banks. No decentralized currency like bitcoin or ETH, will get that chance. Bitcoin will always flourish in the way it is functioning today and its value will appreciate. So good time to invest.

But digital money revolution will be captured by the CBDCs and not cryptos. World governments will not let that happen!

But regardless, investing in bitcoin is a bet that people worldwide are going to need a decentralized currency with a solid monetary policy. We don't invest in bitcoin just because of the fact that everything is moving digital (I mean, PayPal and online banking are already digital for a while).

Digital money is used already for some time because most of the people are using credit cards with numbers on screen and if everyone on the planet
would want to withdraw everything from their bank accounts there would be not enough paper money to do it.
You should not mix digital money with decentralized Bitcoin, and governments will all support their centralized digital currencies and maybe even one global, and not Bitcoin.
It is important to see what people will support in near future, freedom and Bitcoin or slavery and CBDC... because I think this two are going in totally  different direction.

Yea, this. Especially when talking about the non-US/EU/CN/etc powerhouse countries.
