Hello, I have been working in how decrypt the passwords of the .dat files, many hours of research and analysis.

The conclusion, the vast majority of .dat wallets sold and available on the internet are fake.

We are a specialized data center with our own infrastructure (+1200 GPUs) to be able to recover .dat wallets but from people who have really lost their funds.

That is why if someone needs to recover their assets, has the .dat file but does not remember the password, we can help.

Instead, clients only need to provide us with the password hash. With the password hash, we can utilize our secure servers to find the password without accessing the funds. However, it's important to note that access to the funds will only be granted once the client physically visits our facilities with the wallet.dat file after we have successfully found the password.

This process ensures the security of your funds and provides an added layer of protection during the recovery procedure. We prioritize security and confidentiality throughout our service to give our clients peace of mind.

In this post we offer a more detailed service: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5489962

I will start posting different tests we have done to identify fraudulent .dat files from @MA40 help.

Hey guys, I send 1 bitcoin from my bitcoin core wallet to my binance, it is deducted from my bitcoin core wallet, however, it still shows unconfirmed and I still havent received it on my binance wallet. its been 3 hours now. what could be the problem? how do I check if its not lost or whatever.
Edit: My bitcoin core synchronization is still a year behind. I also sent some to my other bitcoin core wallet and the status is also unconfirmed but the coins are showing in my other wallet as pending.

Yes, I also think that nobody who owns a wallet file with several million USD in it would share it or if they would then not before they have been sitting on it for several years and many of the wallets here have been tried to be hacked for over 5 years. But I wonder if it wouldn't be possible to overwrite the part in the wallet with a new password?

But it would be cool if you would publish the hacked wallets and the corresponding password to test with. In the case of the 10,000 BTC, the only thing that stands out is that James1971 had previously written that he had the password.

Passwords are for decrypting ckeys in wallets, ckeys consist of private keys (not only).

If password fits in the first place, it is accepted by Core, but does not decrypt ckey=pvk, ckey is verified with checksum, and with these passwords checksums verified are not the ones for whole ckey.

As ckey there is also mkey for each entry in the wallet. Mkey is encryption key for ckey. Decryption of mkey is based on given password. If mkey is ok, then ckey is decrypted.

But as I have said before, nobody who owns real Bitcoin Wallet.dat files or something similar (.json for early Ethereum legacy wallets, early Dogecoin Wallet.dat files from Dogehouse etc.) or at least believes that these files are real will trade them for possible fake wallet files or sell them for a buck. It would be highly stupid to give these files away, even for 10 or 50k. I am just writing this to logical inform you, nothing more

May I ask if anyone here has ever been able to crack a Wallet.dat? I have read here about an address that had 10,000 BTC where James1971 apparently found the password and is upset about someone who emptied the wallet, if you look at the date it could be true, on the other hand everyone here says that the address or wallet is a fake. I would be interested to know this and also which password it was? Because James said of himself that he is a newbie?

The user James seems to be angry about (@F4LC0N90) is definitely still active and his donate address had several Bitcoins?

As I have mentioned before, I was able to crack a Wallet.dat with a small amount of Bitcoin in it. I got a few Wallet.dat files and also Ethereum legacy .json files and I think mine are 100% valid since I was able to crack one of them and they are linked together since they are from the same source.

Even when the password for 10k BTC was found - it was fake, you couldn't open the wallet and send the funds.

Problem with all Internet wallets is that password even if in the first place is accepted, it does not decrypt private key.
That is for all wallets.

Has anyone EVER recovered a wallet with BTC funds available in it?

I'd like to think there is a way to do it, but I'm not enough of a hacker nerd to know how to use any hashing programs, and as others have said, no one who thinks they can hack into a wallet would be posting it here for sale.

No, no one has get into wallet and get the funds. Even if you have password that is accepted in the first place, the private keys are not decrypted because the final checksum is invalid with that password.

For over 300 wallets, where about dozen of passwords were known, no one wallet happened to decrypt with known password.

Someone forged these wallets by changing the address and made ckey undecryptable (checksum).
By the way, nobody who owns real wallets, or at least thinks so, will sell or trade the files for a buck to a stranger in the internet. Not even for 10k

I got some valid wallets and I also made it into one. A small sense of achievement even if the amount was not significant high. Got Electrum and Ethereum legacy wallet files

Why would anyone sell a wallet with a huge balance for a low value, ask yourself an obvious question like that, answer, they wouldnt.

I don't know exactly. I received 1900 files with balance for free and it take me 6 weeks to find out that minimum 300pcs is 100% fake.

Akaron, could you please share those wallets with me?

bitxchg at gmail

You'll get 1/2 of any wallet I open

HI
This and my wallet.
I give half to those who provide me with passwords.

Are you sure this is your wallet? Because this wallet together with wallet.dat is sold by one of the users on the forum. So be careful with your wallet so that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands and you don't lose your bitcoins. Because this user has a bad reputation on the forum.

I have a copy of this wallet. It does load into bitcoin core and seems to be OK but it does not mean the wallet has not been tampered with to add this address. 1JSTCtS21CFqBz2ZQT4X9sTeCoy58FwtDj
