Patience is a virtue everyone should have because it will be helpful in all areas of our lives. But like you rightly pointed out gamblers need patients because gambling involves money and an act of impatience could lead to imaginable losses. Most times this might not work the way it is meant to but we still have to endure such challenges to enable us to follow our plans. The slowness of the transaction was an unexpected event and it affected your plan. But you need patience to continue with your plan regardless of the problem. The best option you had then was to wait for the reflection of your transactions and if it was taking more time than enough, the next step would be to stop gambling and keep waiting. But we all make mistakes but what makes us better is our ability to learn from them so that we will not repeat them in the future.

Sad to see that happen to you but this is something that we usually see happen. It's true that we as gamblers should be patient when it's about to deposits/withdrawals that we do.

As understandable the situation of the network, it's too clogged and will take time until our transactions get confirmations. And that's why when you've got had enough winnings already, don't gamble it as you'll be encouraged to do so and your emotion will tick you until you've got nothing left.

It's best to still control yourself and not just your patience but also your emotions so that you'll still got something to withdraw when you're able.

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought it was a bet in which, after the game was over, the person who bet changed his mind and canceled because he thought that the team he bet on would lose, but after canceling the game, the team when he bet on her he won the game and after that that person got irritated, this happened to me a lot and for this reason I started to do the following: when I place a bet I don't enter the casino until all the games are over, with that I avoid that I have some kind of panic and cancel a bet and I also avoid watching the game in which I made a bet, only in rare cases do I watch it, but I do not enter the casino

now it is strange that the bet is not canceled but we are talking about delay in depositing and playing blackjack, I also do not understand why they do not use altcoins like litecoin to deposit in the casino, I use litecoin as a deposit method in the casino, I think it is an altcoin very good for this purpose, it doesn't have high withdrawal fees and it's very fast, it would avoid OP going through this whole bad situation, bitcoin without a doubt is the best currency, but you have to be a little critical sometimes, and when bitcoin is not fulfilling its role well so there is no shame in resorting to altcoin until bitcoin improves and fulfills its role well

When it comes to patience it is a really important virtue on betting. Because it makes people make their choices wiser. I have had some serious issues with patience while betting so far. Maybe not most of the time but in some time periods I was so focused on betting on the nearest matches to win as quick as possible. I mean I wasn't even caring about how much information I had about that league and the teams. I was just focused on winning by trying my luck those times.

I don't think this is good at all especially if you turn this into a habit. Thankfully I'm not doing it anymore but there have been many times in which I lost money for no reason. It is always better to bet on the matches you trust the most no matter on what day the matches will be played.

You would really lose up money if you are really that impulsive when it comes to your emotion on which you would really be having that kind of act on all-in bets just because you do have in mind that you cant really be able to withdraw right away then it wouldn't be that bad for you to play even more while waiting. Just like on what others been saying above that if you are a kind of person who do have that short patience or having that short temper then you would likely to be doing such act on where you would be playing even more.This is why on the time that you do have this kind of feeling then it would be better that you should
really be finding other activities which would divert out your attention. Making some withdrawal request on the time that the network congestion is already that been solved or already fine.
There's no such thing that we can do if the network is something like this where it does have lots of pending request but if a casino could be having that dynamic fee then it wont be a problem but for sure
it would be taking up a huge slice into your balance which is something that we dont really like.

Which site you are playing? If your balance was credited despite on having that set low transaction fee or something that hadnt been confirmed then it is indeed an instant deposit casino which it is really that

Getting bored or really that in a rush on withdrawing but because of high fees then you would really be thinking on playing a bit more and hoping that the balance of yours would really be that be growing.

I guess everyone understands where you're coming from and how it feels to be in your shoes as everyone have experienced it at least once in their entire time in gambling and that includes me. Last few days due to mempool issue extra fee is charged for bitcoin withdrawal or deposit and waiting for extra time for deposit. Agreed. You can't change the world, only yourself. Had you reacted a little differently during that situation, and waited instead of pushing for it knowing that you are already aggravated by the inconvenience that the lack of instant withdrawal is giving you, you might have been able to bag your wins. I'd agree with him over the fact that he put up a warning to all people who were once like him, kind of a cautionary tale, but much of this could've been avoided if he only cleared his mind and made the right choice. Thank you for sharing your experience but this could have been easily avoided by depositing with other option on the casino. All the casinos sites that I have used to gamble has different deposit options and some have both cryptocurency and fiats deposit options.

If we experience similar congestion in the future then just use other deposit option to avoid experiencing similar problem. We can't blame the gambling sites as it wasn't their fault that your deposit wasn't confirmed on time also keep spare gambling money on the site.

When you have your gambling funds on the casino, it eliminate waste of time to wait for the miners to confirm your transaction and gives you enough time to bet. Don't keep all your money on the gambling sites since they can shutdown but always have some spare over there.

You would have deposited with other currency maybe after you gamble and wins then you might decides to withdraw with bitcoin. I don't really know if that gambling site allows that because I know there are some gambling you could make deposit of any currency while at the returning ends you may decide to use other currency to withdraw as well. Usually gambling is not a game of rush, it needs time and patient to be able to succeed.

Why did you start playing if you decided to withdraw funds? I understand that this is a rhetorical question, but this behavior seems strange to me. Plus, let's say you were able to successfully withdraw funds, then what would stop you from returning everything back and losing after a new unsuccessful session (especially if the mempool was free and transactions were fast)? I think it's not about input/output speed, but about discipline.

Base on what you said topic, gamblers must be patient to see the outcome of the game and before drawing the line of conclusion. This recent happening in the bitcoin blockchain affect and spoiled many things. No gambler likes to loss money but it's is an inevitable that a gambler must loss. But there are available loss in the gambling arena. Those avoidable ones are the ones that you being a gambler see that if you play you must loss yet you still go ahead and play the game. It is obviously very sad feeling to lose money all the time. But this is how gambling works. You can/may lose everything you are gambling with. Running out of patience is always a problem we don't easily get rid of and most of the time it results differently from what we hope. You already tripled the amount and then lost everything.

I needed the money. I stop betting $1 and the faster I can make money the faster I can get out of the site and as I'm saying to myself so doubling down fast in a coffee break just using my phone. Before I could even go back to my job, I already lost it all.
