Might be easy to say mate but when time comes that you are in the exact position where your brain is sending you signal to go all-in because you have the right hand and the luck as well, what will you do? I don't think you will just sit and play regularly even if you have the chance to take it all just like what I have mentioned above and when you go all-in, that's when things go wrong because your foe got a much bigger hand and more luckier than you. What I'm saying is, everything is a gamble, except if you're playing for the sake of entertainment, that's when things will be good for you because even if you lose your capital, it doesn't matter as that is not what you're after.

You are making a very good point and this is why I wanted to rather change the "patience" aspect of the title of the OP to 'discipline' if I had the chance. One thing many do not know is that the emotions that cause havoc on gamblers are not something that could be explained or guarded against in a simple way, they could be so tricky as they crept in to infest the person. It might start from good luck to bad luck, or from bad luck to worse luck, it takes discipline for anyone to overcome and this starts by saying enough-is-enough with sure determination.

If you lose, you would want to gain your money back, and if you gain, you would want to gain more. By virtue of this, a very responsible approach and plan should be ensured, and when you are disciplined, it makes it easier for you to follow the approach and plan and move on when need be.

I think the OP is mixing patience with greed and he thinks they both mean the same thing I guess. You can be impatient but if you are not greedy you can still be in a good position. Like you said, a person may impatiently wait for the next game but that doesn't mean he is going to make a bet he is going to regret later. If he somehow controls his greed while betting then there won't be any harm in doing that imo. If the player is both impatient and greedy then that's the worst combination, a recipe for a disaster. He will lose his bankroll so quickly, soon he will find himself a homeless man.

Those are indeed mixed because its really just that normal that you would be thinking on playing more on which you do have that kind of feeling that you might be able to get those amounts to be bigger and since you do see that its still pending because of huge transactions fees then you would really be likely on playing with those balance or would really be continuing and hope that it might really be ending up on
having bigger withdrawal if you do able to win up more but this isnt the case on which it happened on whats stated on OP.

If you dont have that kind of addict-like kind of behavior then you would just simply wait before that transaction would really be able to confirm or else you would really be needing to pay up that huge
fees for that transaction to be processed on next block. Its a matter of choice but you had chosen on not to pay with the fees but rather you have been using your entire capital+ profit to

Patience is essential in gambling, but patience is very important in all other fields like gambling. Today you have not been patient enough to bet on gambling and you have to blame for your loss when you face huge losses instead of usual gains. I would advised my peers not to even consider gambling because it is not a guaranteed source of income. There are other ways to start making money, essentially from the comfort of your own home. Gambling speaks more in consideration for the voices of the people, particularly the youths, who receive pleasure from wagering on fixed games in order to earn money, however in smaller sums, to provide for their wants after they've satisfied their needs. Patience is a virtue, and it is a good time to watch sports games because one can never foresee the following outcomes of the results.

Good point, depends from your luck and if how good you are in managing your bankroll, the chance of extending your stay is possible, and in terms of patience, yes, you can continue to have it if you still have the money to play right? I see your point in terms of entertainment, it's really good to have that mindset to make sure that you will not go to chase for huge amount of winning profits, you'll going to see winning money as addition when you gamble but not the real priorities when you play.

You should read the content of the thread and not rely only in the title to answer all your questions. It’s not really what you are thinking the idea of this topic.

The OP experience a loss due to his impatience on waiting for his pending withdrawal. He already won and then lose because he keep playing instead to wait for his withdrawal to process. This is the patience he was talking about on this thread.

I have also always been patient in gambling looking for fun not just money in the casino, because playing calmly and being patient will make it easier for us to control ourselves in playing gambling and not exceeding limits. if we do not control ourselves will certainly make us become addicts.

A big problem with gambling is that all gamblers want to get rich quick by getting a big reward. And this is why a gambler can hardly be patient. and they always focus on big odds and bet there and because of all this they face loss most of the time. I don't know how much it is possible for a regular gambler to gamble with patience but I am a small gambler and I only gamble two to three days a week yet when I go to gamble I can't keep myself in patience and panic very quickly.So I can say from my own experience that gambling with patience is very difficult

Well, one thing about being patient is that, it is virtue and not every one have it, and in as much as we preach it, there are gamblers who would never know how to exercise patience in their gambling activities, for many, the power to be patient comes naturally while for others, it is likely a gift that must be given to them from above, it will take quite a long time for somebody who learnt to be patient to practice it effectively, this is one of the reasons why those who are not so addicted to gambling easily quit gambling due to frustrations experienced from gambling loses, while those who are addicted have no choice but to keep gambling, and when the frustration hits the red point where they can no longer bear it, they either commit a crime and land in jail or begin to nurture suicidal thought which if not managed, they would eventually commit suicide as a way to be free from their problems.
