I do not agree with this conclusion, as any other coin, depends on bitcoin and once bitcoin drops, most likely this coin also falls. Your thinking is fair if the domination of the bitcoin market is not high and then there is a chance that some coins will grow faster than bitcoin, but in today's market it's impossible. Keep bitcoin is much safer.

This is basic calculation and it also depends on the alts you are buying. if you hold alts it value increases but if value decreases than your btc will also reduce. however people prefer btc because they believe in it. there are alts those value gone to zero and also some alts that been to more than 50x . so it totally depends on the coins you hold.

In each case we have a strategy to keep Bitcoin reasonable. We should now keep Bitcoin for its return. And it would be wrong to not invest Bitcoin for the long term right now because the bottom of Bitcoin might be present.

Maybe you are correct. But I believe in the future of BTC, and maybe BTC will be replaced by other currencies in the future. But at present it seems that BTC is a good investment, everyone has their own views.

On my belief, bitcoin is the most reliable coin for holding in the long term. The leader of the market's crypto currency at the moment is far from its peak. So buying bitcoin for a long time now is favorable.

I don't agree with your point of view. I think that only Bitcoin is the only one that can be held for a long time. Perhaps bitcoin in ten years will make you extremely rich.

Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?

Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.

Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .

After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.

But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.

So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?

i think keep trade is most profitable but must be vy careful to choose new project

Bitcoin is the best long-term investment, and I think there has to be bitcoin in the portfolio.

Bitcoin has a better future than other cryptocurrencies. I'm sure the price of bitcoin will be surprising in a few years.

For me, bitcoin is a great cryptocurrency and in addition I am glad that this type of investment exists. I am sure that it is necessary to wait, and any manipulations in this sphere are simply senseless. So you can lose a lot of money
I disagree with this statement, me as my personal experience i hold my bitcoins for about 1 and half year because i am not satisfied with the price in the market, i sell ig last year when the bitcoin hits 16k dollars, so imagine? If you have patience you will be rich

BTC is the most stable and most secure speculation with an immense potential. Demand of the BTC will increment quickly in future. Your rationale is valid. Be that as it may, we can't confide in the presence of a large portion of alts. Inside couple of years, we can't state what number of alts will exist in showcase. That is the motivation behind why most financial specialists get a kick out of the chance to contribute on BTC.

i am investing altcoins always. but everytime i am holding 1.5 btc in my ledger.
i believe average investor in crypto need to hold at least 1 bitcoin..

because altcoins are very volatile and risky. and always bitcoin doing first pump before altcoins.
i feel safe when i am holding at least 1.5 btc :=).

Altcoins, in my opinion, are more risky then bitcoin. If you hold altcoins instead of BTC you take the risk twice, current altcoin can drop and the whole market can drop, but if you hold bitcoin you can lose money only if all market goes down, like what happened this year.

The increase in bitcoin is not done routinely, it only increases occasionally significantly. And it takes a long process to wait for the right time to increase significantly. Analyze first, investing in bitcoin when he is getting a pump, so you don't wait too long for the results of bitcoin. For long-term investments, it is more appropriate if you join a potential altcoin.
