I believe that Bitcoin has a chance to rise in the current situation .
Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?
Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.
Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .
After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.
But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.
So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?

I prefer to hold btc for long time and do some day trading with the alts. Though the profit of btc may be not so high as before, we can find the low risk in it. It will definite goes up with the tie goes on. But to make mroe profit we need to buy in more alts and do some short time trading to make mroe money. agreed, 80% of my portfolio is bitcoin
I think that Bitcoin can be held in the field for a long time, personally I keep it calm .
If want to trade Bitcoin with others altcoin, we should be carefull when the price of BTC bull run and price of altcoin going down, and better to trade it by short duration. And other way to increasing balance of BTC is trade on the others trading platform that allow to make deposit by BTC , like platform that provide by broker like Simple fx, Fx open, 1Broker, Whale club. In these all platform we can increase our BTC with so many diferent pair include crypto pair, stock, forex, commodities.
Don't find the bad idea of holding Bitcoin . Because in any case it can bring you profit .
Just check the stats for the last 5 years and you'll understand that the only coin worth hodling is bitcoin =)
everyone has their respective investment strategies. hold in the long run also is promising because with crypto beliefs will grow in the long run then it will give you great results. daily trading is also quite able to generate profits because it could exploit where crypto increase and decrease. so based on their own strategies used in the search for profits.
Right! I have shared many times on this forum: Do not keep bitcoin for long periods of time. Because their prices are not stable but up or down erratically.
Agreed! crypto market is very volatile so one must should keep eye on in it and take profit on time to time. Hold it for long periods. Higher losses are more profitable. It depends much on the market risk.
I am sorry but didn't get your thoughts on the last statement. how can be higher loss are more profitable?
I believe that it is not such a bad idea to hold Bitcoin ,and it can bring you a good profit .

What you said makes sense, but I won't sell my bitcoin. Although other altcoin investments are more profitable than bitcoin, this is only temporary. In the future, the king will always be bitcoin. And no coin can exceed the value of Bitcoin.
There is nothing to do except holding, wait for the right time. No one have ability to stop this revolution and i feel proud to be a part of it 
I disagree with this idea for the most part. HODLing is the best way to lock in almost guarenteed profit.
This is a perfectly reasonable idea. And most importantly, everything is logical. To get more profit you need to invest in altcoins. The main thing with the choice is not to be mistaken!
