Well, in fact I am still holding the Bitcoin. In my opinion, BTC is a very promising coin to hold for the long time. I have ever done about this. Holding them for some years when buying in the cheap price and then this year, the price is growing up. I still believe that some years later, the price will really grows up and be better than this.
I think it's a good thing to hold bitcoin for a long time because it generates more profits when you hold it for a long period than selling immediately.
I understand what you mean. this does look good, but what if it happens is the opposite. means if the BCH rate will be 0.05? we will lose 0.5 BTC?

Like your point, I too believe that alts can bring much more profit than bitcoin in short term. There are various possibilities they provide with a small investment. Still, if you have bitcoin, you hold bitcoin, because it is bitcoin

I agree with your opinion, but I have to look at it on the other hand, for example, in many cases I sell it right now, I also have some expectations from the bitcoin and I postpone my investment.

Yes, you should hodl BTC for long time because it has already withstood the test of time and hodling it will give you the highest ROI.

think if the bitcoin is going down just buy and hold and sell if the bitcoin is pump. Dont fully invest bitcoin because bitcoin is longterm coin like ethereum . If you hold a coin give a patience and wait until pump.
Yes you are right, it is better to use capital for trading or to follow the legit ICO.
It's look like highly risk now to invest on ICO. I just want to explain, once market down you can get a chance. Buy alt coin and hold it up to reach on your target. Good coin never give you loss. Just need pateince.

I am afraid I cannot agree with this point of view. How cheap Bitcoin prices were a few years ago. But this year is not the same. So its value takes time to discover and grow. Without a long time, there will not be such a big increase.
But still I believe in bitcoin. In the present market I won't invest in any other altcoin. Generally I noticed when btc rises altcoins start dropping so btc is good choice to hold rather than altcoins. For long time investment I always believe only in btc. Ethereum is my second choice for long term investment. Whatever the coin we hold we must due diligence. Analysis and research is also important for short term and long term investment.
Growing BTC price is actually base on per USD exchange not basically your BTC volume would increase. Let's say you have 0.123 btc and it example exchange rate is $100, then some other day you still have 0.123 btc but the exchange rate 8ght change to higher/lower value. The exchange rate changes not the BTC volume itself.

Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .
After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.
But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.

It defends on market price of the coins but constantly to buy and sell is btc. Most of the time btc is the higher price now even in falling down a bit but to compare to aktcoin it is much better.
