This is always applicable and advisable whenever the market value of Bitcoin is falling. Holding and investing will be a great choice compared to selling which will just contribute on the backdrop thatbwill make the market price of Bitcoin to fall even more. It's either they are newbie or they can't control their emotions. It's not about they chase quick profit but it's about they can't take it while seeing their bitcoins to reduce in terms of value. Most of the knowledge that I've gathered about holding, enduring the corrections and don't panic sell came from this forum and no one did ever told it to me IRL. I don't pity them but it will be lesson learned later on when they started to see bitcoin breaking a price wall on $20,000.

Maybe you're right, But if you analyze the last year, then in early 2017 we already had a huge jump in prices for Bitcoin almost doubled compared to the summer of 2016. If we trace the whole growth trend of Bitcoin in 2017, we will see that growth was accompanied almost all year round. But today the trend is completely different.
