If you are invested in Bitcoin, we have reached at the stage where it is very confusing whether to hold for more gain or sell at the current price. You will have started seeing traders and influencers posting snapshot of fancy profits they made and they are waiting for handsome XYG price fulfilment. Well, take them lightly and don't follow blindly. Be cautious to avoid losing your funds. This is a crucial times for newbies, especially.

So, if you are a holder you will most probably be thinking about waiting more until it gets to XYG price. This is not a good move in such volatile, ATH-hitting market. So, I think selling in parts can be the best strategy at the moment. You will minimize risks while getting good prices in parts. What do you think?
if it were me, my choice would be to sell. because we know that if we hold on, we will get disappointment where the price will decrease and this is a moment to get profit. What do you think ? isn't that a good choice right now
I think it's a good idea if we look at the current situation even so we shouldn't be too hasty in making decisions,
maybe it is better to follow market developments first so that later we will not regret making decisions

If you've bought bitcoin when it's still cheap and hasn't reached ATH, I think it's time to come out now. Because bitcoin has penetrated New ATH and the current condition is the end of the year and christmas, which can be seen in this annual chart there will be a decline.
Unfortunately, no one knows when the bitcoin price will reach next ATH.
The best thing you can do is sell the bitcoin when the price reaches the peak and wait for a while for another down for the price to buy bitcoin again.
If you sell some parts in many ranges of price, I think that can give you the profit, but that can work if you can place an order sell before the price start rally. But do not place too close because your profit will not be bigger.

And also... buy in parts? Because when you see increases, it is smarter to buy in parts so that you could sell at the top, when you see it start to go down, you could sell in parts as well, that way you could potentially make a lot more profit if the price increases a lot but doesn't decrease a lot.

I personally bought bitcoin at much lower level so I could have kept that and would have made a lot more profit in the % sense so my percentage would have been a lot higher, but right now I bought from higher and higher and higher levels the more it went up, and I could sell right now and would have a much lower percentage of profit but a lot more dollars in profit. Remember that when you are buying and selling, it is not about the percentage of profit you make, it is about the dollar amount you make, and find ways that would yield you more dollars not more percentage.

the best step at this time is to sell it, because by selling now you can get a large profit. then the next step is to wait for the bitcoin price to go down then buy again and hold until the price goes up. so this is a good move not rather than waiting longer but this price drop will disappoint later

It a quite simple for trading or investing, If you on a profit situation and don't know what will happen just ended your trading or investing with profit. A good trader no seen by how much money or profit you are made but ended your trade with a profit not a loss.

this is a tradition that we need to master in trading techniques, even though to be honest I personally find it very difficult. indeed you must continue to learn to control your emotions, even though you have already pocketed the profits and ended it quite proudly. it's hard to find someone's character like that.

This isn't confusing at all for me and I've sold most of my bitcoins and turned them into fiat and usdt, I'll be a little more patient waiting for bitcoins to decline because that's the only way I can make a profit

Its not the right thing to suggest.  Suggest in a different angle which is you can say that try to sell crypto on high price then buy again in price dump. Because its a strategy in crypto market you can also say that its a secret strategy too. Every trader and every crypto users use that tricks to get their successful crypto journey.  If anyone want to get success in crypto then they should follow this strategy that buy crypto in dump price then sell crypto on high price then do that same thing that buy low sell high.

There could be a crash if 50% of holders shares some of their parts even a small portion, I don't think it's a good recommendation when it comes to selling we leave it to holders and let them decide based on the situation they are in, and their plan I would not even recommend to crash the market, because there are people who follow the flow.

There are two factor to predict bitcoin price, technical analyst and fundamental analyst, have you analyst by those strategy before you make this statement? Indeed, when we invest our money we have to count how much risk that will be faced and how much profit that will get, right?

But at the current situation, I'll choose to become a holder because technically bitcoin still in the uptrend market, you can the mounthly and weekly candle, they will indicate that the price can still have a chance to increase more than now. And also fundamentally, there is still a good news especially from US government will give another stimulus to support their economy, which could make bitcoin price go up more than now.

feeling confused is a natural thing in cryptocurrency trading, especially if we see a good price on the coin we predict. whereas we have invested large amounts of assets in certain coins, so this will change all the programs that we have created of course
That's how crypto work. That's why people are always diversifying their portfolios into the various assets to anticipate the bullish trend that could happen into any of these assets. People should have sold their stash when they have earned good amounts of money. As people who wanna make a profit from the market and you should always follow it. It doesn't matter a lot whether you must have changed your strategy anytime but as long as you can get a decent profit from there and that's not a problem.

Everyone doesn't use the same strategy for making profit. I believe that crypto market will recover in future, even if the price fall badly now. And crypto price will reach more higher position than before. That's why I like to hold my investment for long and don't want to flow with panic situation. I know it won't maximize my profit. Though I sell a small part of my investment while the price reach new high, like it is currently now. Bitcoin and few other top coins are in my investment portfolio. These are worth to hold for long term.

This is indeed true but your so-called "part" should not be your >20% of your portfolio. I think institution investments have started to flow in crypto space which will push Bitcoin prices higher. So, selling 10% of the portfolio is a wise move otherwise, there will be regret.
It can be any amount as long as it's still a part from the portfolios. There's not specific percentage about how much you must sell it to the market. As long as people are confidence with such amount and then it's free to sell it.
Just try to think about we must at least keep more than 40% from the remaining tokens to anticipate the next bullish trend that will be happening in the cryptocurrency.
You should add more rather than try to sell only 10%

Yeah, I think I will agree with you. We can't anticipate markets but this time, we all feel that 25K is an easy target irrespective of ups and downs. So, even if we start selling 10-15% with every 1K added to the price, we will be in a good position.

It still depends in the market condition, sometimes there are indication that the market will continue to grow up, if you are selling check and feel the market condition first and see if it's worth selling, it's good to take profit but getting the right timing to sell will maximize your profit.

Selling in parts means you are still losing your precious Bitcoin or altcoin.
You are not gaining by doing this.
Then, you will be in doubt to buy again since the price is getting higher. It had always been a risk since day 1.
You sell now, you might miss the big boat. Regrets will follow and the fear of missing out which will force you to buy at a higher price.
Now, is it still profit?

selling partially is a smart decision if you feel nervous with your portfolio. at the same time don't go too deep in selling because there is a lot of push from institutional investors and its very likely that we'll see btc above 30k in the near term. may be 5-10% of portfolio won't be that bad idea.
That would be a difficult task for us if we are nervous on the time of investing or trading.
Actually being nervous it is part in our life but we should need to think if we are in the situation of selling or any things that we do in a market.
And we will see BTC in $30k but not this year maybe 2022 I think that could be a target for BTC to reach on that price.

selling in my share of mind after selling the majority of my ethereum, and right now, there aren't many assets that I own. Well, I'm a little sorry that I sold my ethereum for under $ 600. however, I didn't sell it in pieces, but I did sell it in batches at the same time. Well, I think selling it in parts will allow you to think better of what to hold or sell

selling in a parts is a kind of good idea, because sometimes the market will move to fast, and we don't have enough time to sell our assets,
and sometimes the market didn't touch our price predictions too

Of course selling is an assurance for us to take back and reward ourselves from long waits, but we must think that we only need to sell what is worth enough. The market was unpredictable and you can't predict what's going to happen next, so just do it by process and avoid dumping everything. Self control is very important in times of uncertainty.
