Keep it real
I don't think daily scheduled resets are a good idea. The time period is too short and in the end everyone will just join in with automated bots paying the first second of the new round.

Heh, I'd thought about making a bot to do it.... perhaps a CAPTCHA needs to be put in place for submitting your entry, this should prevent any bots from entering.  Plus there are tons of easy to use CAPTCHA services out there.

Yea everyone is sleeping. I'm pretty sure the list will double. If history shows anything, the list hit that double point from yesterday's game when it was about 7 hours left.

I redid the chat system, so now we shouldn't have as many time-outs:

http://bitcoinsurf.net/doublechat

Just enter a Username and leave the password field blank and YOU ARE IN.

I have a Public Chat, and a Technical Support Chat, so you can communicate better with NothinG during game resets if you experience problems.

ENJOY!

Its all a bet... he could have the same odd's in blackjack and noone would think it was wierd lol.  But it can pay off Smiley  And it might not sometimes Sad
Right now is the best time to enter, because you've got until midnight (server time) to get doubled!

[Edit]: I'm off to take a smoke, then I'm going to sleep.
(If anyone has been keeping track, I haven't slept since I first opened this game).

no, that losing means you get 2% of the pot left, not 2% of your initial bid

EDIT: Just realized this is very important, as NothinG gives the opposite impression at the beginning of the thread.

I entered twice with that receiving address, btw. The first was the 1btc you carried over from the last round, which was doubled just fine.

Edit: That first one has been the only one at 1btc so far, so there hasn't been any other entries at either 1 or 1.5 since I sent the transaction and this post. So, it should be simple to verify against the transaction link and incoming transactions in your wallet. So, a refund to the address I gave you or to the inputs listed in the transaction would work.

Hope I don't sound too grumpy... it's almost 8am here, and I'm just about to go to bed before keyboardface occurs... Smiley

Wow, so that still makes this uber risky.....I just lost 9 BTC from not knowing that. POerhaps that line should be copied and pasted in the intro? Or at least made more noticeable.
That the game resets every night? Sorry, I'll add that now.

Here's the one I overpayed: http://blockexplorer.com/t/3pij6g2E3f

And receiving address 1Kh9Nm994Xgqstk6qdPXLrFycMUqcrojg2
Would you lend me your Transaction ID? (kind of busy to look through each payment)

Should I be able to find if it's not in the game table? I was thinking more along the lines of a refund, minus a few bitcents for your troubles.

You should get a refund shortly. Sorry about the delay.

Refund received.  Thanks for the integrity and finding my transaction!

I think the percentage for return is applied to the remaining pot weighted by your entry not applied to your entry completely.
Yes!
