I guess you use content-compression? If not, it wouldn't take nuhc code, I'm sure which ever web server you use can allow you to enable it in its configuration! Smiley
I'm not ever worried about bandwidth (as you can tell by how much I have left, lol).

Game looks pretty much dead right now.
Maybe I should have done the midnight reset.  Roll Eyes

We were all sleeping, there are still more than 12 hours left Smiley

I added a thread in the newbie forum to promote this game, just in case they aren't watching the marketplace threads.

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=18969.0
Thanks Smiley
I'll add this page to the first post as Sponsoring Threads.

Np NothinG.  I do accept donations for my hard work....lol

But seriously, this one is going well.  I am playing all three double trouble currently running, but what I like about this one is the automation you've created.

That was the whole idea...AND WHY AM I NOT ASLEEP YET! D:
Anyways, I've updated the API code a little bit [getCurrentPot,getPlayers, getPlayersUnPaid, getPlayersPaid]. The data get's reset on each new game (at midnight).

[Edit]: In the ~6hrs since I moved the site to the new domain, I've already used almost 38mb.

I should probably optimize the code to save bandwidth...nah Grin

Oh well, I'm sure it will be popular again.

I think you are hard on yourself.  As you can see there are a few nice size deposits in the last couple hours.  I can tell you I have been paid out 3 times so far.

134011
134543
134573

I have two more deposits in and will continue to invest in this as long as others keep investing.  Those people who invested the 3, 4.5, & 5 are in for a nice payout today.  I will keep investing after each payout I get.  These games take some commitment.

Yeah, I'm confident. Just didn't expect it to be so popular. Grin

Also, new update on the program:

I'm going to publish the update @ http://zombietoday.com/bitdouble_app/ (Version 1.1.0.0).

[Edit]:
Okay, I'm going to sleep (possibly).
I won't reply to any messages for ~6-8hrs.
The game is automatic, so have fun. Smiley

No, I was meaning I'd wait for yout to have it possible to make an entry with it, and I'd have a script running to make entries if certrain conditions were met Smiley

Don't know about your idea Tongue

Yeah, I'm not sure about it either xD
I'm working on my application. I've got it setup to grab the current pot (from the API). [Not yet published]

Nice! (/me waits for it to be done enough so he can get to work at automatically entering if it picks up speed Tongue)
Automatic entries?
I guess I could have something like (next game Bank & Entries) tables.
So when the next game starts, it will be like instant payout as soon as the old game end.
Almost like a "would I get automatic money every night @ midnight???"

How's that sound?

I have had success in this game.  thanks.

Oh well, I'm sure it will be popular again.

I'm thinking about adding an account function so you can register and have it setup so all you can have a few more options (I may also raise the fee to 1.5% and the game-over fee to 2.5%, which would allow me to give users a reason to register [so I can offer them a 1% fee and a 2% game-over fee (as the current fee's are set)]).
You would also be allowed to "save an address" to make making a payment faster (for you).
Another option could be the use of "holding payments" until you're ready to get paid (of course this would be optional), but could give me a reason to charge 2% for automatic payments or 1% for manual payout.

Bleh, this is all conspiracy!..or is it?

[Edit]:
Started working on an API feature (mainly for use with my program, but anyone can use it).

Your Double Trouble is looking very nice.
Congrats!!
Well, thanks for some testers to help me get it started Cheesy
Couldn't have done it without them.

[Another Application Edit/Update]:
If anyone wants to get the application (or see what published version it's at) you can @ http://zombietoday.com/bitdouble_app/
I actually don't expect anyone to download this program, yet alone install it...at least not yet.

[Edit2]:
Another image? This is what it looks like when there is an update for the application.

[Edit3]:
Just wanted to let everyone know that I had mis-configured the SCI Return URL (for some reason I forgot .com??). Anyways, there were two payments (both for 0.25) from someone and I just wanted to let everyone know that those two payments have been refunded. You may re-submit as the SCI Return URL has been fixed.

[Edit4]:
CronJob for midnight is back in-play! So, from now on the game will restart (with partial refunds split from however much the bank has left).

(1) you're welcome

(2) but if you create an address in your client it is a receiving address - it is not the sending address (or is it)?

The address in your client represents you. You can receive/accept money with it.
When you make a payment or send money to someone else, they will give you an address to use.

[Edit]:
Current Application Status Grin

Yeah, I know it's nothing right now ;P But...I'm going to start adding the code it so it will be worth something Smiley

Looks like your business is thriving!

Wouldn't have thought that - but congrats to that!
Thanks. Smiley

How do you do that? How does the sender know the address from which he or she sended you bitcoins?
Using your bitcoin program (or website), it should give you an address to accept payments with.

[Edit]: I'm also developing an application to use with this site! (Which is one reason why I wanted to change domains, so I have full control over the Frontpage extention).

Let me just ask one more thing:

Your FAQ says:

>>Requrements?
You will need to have the option to receive payments from the same address you send them<<

How do you do that? How does the sender know the address from which he or she sended you bitcoins?

Feature request: offer the choice to receive payout to a MyBitcoin account instead of a bitcoin address. I know I can just enter the address from MyBitcoin as the payout address, but since you're using it to process payments, it shouldn't be too hard to integrate payouts.
I may add that as a feature. Thank's for suggesting it. Smiley

I moved the site to a new domain.
