How about you have you experienced dreaming that you are playing in a casino, is this alarming to you?

Anyone can have a dream on gambling regardless of what the situation is, some believed that we are more liable to dream about what we taught about overnight because such often occur in our conscious and subconsciousness which make us to dream about them while sleeping also because our mind is on them, on the contrary, some also believed that when they had a dream about gambling, it's an indication for them to win or have a better experience with gambling within that same period, we should just be aware that dream will always be and are sometimes far from the reality.

I gambled a lot in the past few years but I have never experienced such dream. I think it is also related to psychological thing, when you think too much about something before sleep then it may come into your dream. Since I have never had a dream about gambling so let me talk about dream in general. Some dreams can be an alarm for me or at least it may make me think about it for a while. I'll think about how if the dream happen in the future, so it will help me to prepare something.

He could just be regretting deeply for the loss before he sleep thats why he also dreamt of gambling. If one celebrates for winning in the casino I think its possible to have extend the celeberation in the dream.

In this modern world, interpreting the dreams seem not very applicable anymore unlike back in the time of Egyptian Paroahs. If I interpret gambling in the dream, OP will probably take a life changing and risky decision like  marry someone or not. Or stay in his home town or move to another city kind of decision.

How about you have you experienced dreaming that you are playing in a casino, is this alarming to you?

I have never dreamt or saw myself gambling in a casino or where ever in my dreams, but even if I do, I wont consider it serious or anything to worry about, I have at one time dreamt where someone I don't know, or don't think I know gave me 5 lotto numbers, and at that time, I was not a gambler, and neither have I ever played the lotto, this was a very long time ego when i was still very young, though I have always heard about lotto then, and even had a few friends who play lotto, but i never played myself and had no interest in playing, so when i had this dream, i woke up and did not take it serious, some few days later, i meet one friend of mine and told him the dream, and he told me to go and play those numbers that i was given in the dream, he even offered to pay for the ticket since it doesn't cost much, but unfortunately, by then, i had forgotten the numbers, and till today, i have never had such dream again, and also never had any dream patterning to gambling .

The reason you found is true as I experienced it before on different things which I want to stop. It was like you miss doing that thing. That is why. It slowly making me crazy so I just decided to continue doing those things but I try to limit my self. Now my brain is fine again. I suggest you do the same.

I never dreamed of playing on an actual casino. I think that is because I'm not a fan of it. I mostly play online and one time I dream that I make a lot of profit. It was a realistic one and I even checked my accounts after I wake up but it give me a disappointment after I saw that my balance was still zero. Sometimes dreams can turn into reality too by doing an action in the real world. Maybe one day we can get lucky and hit the jackpot as long as we keep on playing.

It was the first time I heard about the term "relapse dream." That's quite interesting, huh?

I used to play a lot in the past, yet I've only had 1 dream related to gambling. It was a good dream, though. In that dream, I was on a winning streak and hit a jackpot. The only issue was that I found it hard to decide how to spend my winnings.

a cherished dream with a million dollar jackpot. But let's put those dreams aside and try to be realistic. You just need to play again and strive for the jackpot and it will come true. too complacent with a dream will not produce anything.
There wouldn't be winning streaks and hitting jackpots, the casinos already knew what they had to do. The jackpot will only go to random users and it will be rare.

Casinos already know when will the jackpot hits. I'm pretty sure some of the games are rigged in a way that the jackpot drops after a certain number of bets is made on that machine or game. They'll occasionally give out some small wins to a lot of users, but they already computed everything that puts them in a profitable position. Betting often will not get you jackpots, betting at the right time would. How does one know it? Well, technically no one knows, not even the casinos. Either way, the casino wins.

Nothing serious mate, it's just a normal phenomenon of life, it's just a reflection saying you are deeply connected with your dice playing habits as dream are like a reflection of what we do. And this particular phenomenon is no new thing to me although mine isn't about playing dice or any other casino games, I think mine had to do with my soccer playing habits.

I thought it was alarming but doing research online I found out that there's nothing to worry about it's just a relapse dream, it happens when you are trying to shut one habit in this case gambling too much.

How about you have you experienced dreaming that you are playing in a casino, is this alarming to you?

After playing several hours in slots online, especially where I achieved lots of winnings, that moment will probably appear in my dream and not the other way around which is playing in a physical casino. Doesn't really alarming to appear in my dream because it's just a part of what we did a while ago that's why even while sleeping, it creates an imaginary situation.

I also not came up with the point that kind of dream should be alarming because how come and what's the connection between what we see in our dreams and what should be the effect of it in reality, not unless you are a superstitious guy that believes in any saying about the dream.

Just don't mind it and continue with our usual gambling habit. There are lots of things to worry about rather than what appears in our dream. Smiley
Just like on your typical day to day doings or activities on which if you have exhausted yourself or been playing or doing that for lots of hours then it wont really be that surprising or shocking that you would definitely be
getting dream on with those things on which i could say that it would be normal but most of the time we would definitely be forgetting on what our dreams is all about.

Most of the time we are really that forgetting on what we had dream but some of us would be able to remember it out specially if it keeps repeating.
Research shows
Why do we forget 95% or more of our dreams?
“Since dreams are thought to primarily occur during REM sleep, the sleep stage when the MCH cells turn on, activation of these cells may prevent the content of a dream from being stored in the hippocampus – consequently, the dream is quickly forgotten.”

I guess that you have engaged yourself too much in gambling or you are thinking of going to a casino before you slept. This are some reasons that might make one dream about playing in a casino. I was thinking one evening that if I can just hit the jackpot someday, and I guess what that night when I slept. I saw myself in a big casino, where I was celebrated for winning the highest amount ever in the casino. Unknown to me that it was a dream not until my alarm clock rang and I woke up to realize it was a mere dream. I then remembered why I dreamt such dream,so this isn't something new to human.

Well, I think that we all have dreamed of this type of thing, even if we are awake, the fact that when we rest and dream this can be for various reasons, it could be because we want it a lot, another could be because maybe we have played a lot during the day and we are in our brain with that restlessness, the other reason is that since we have played so much , Perhaps our brain will be very aware of the plays and unconsciously it will be working and putting together strategies, when we are very concentrated in an activity that can Happen.

In this case, we can keep that in mind, it happened to me very often at university, especially with the math exercises that sometimes I couldn't solve, perhaps due to tiredness and exhaustion, so I dreamed of solving those exercises and It just so happens that when I dreamed of doing them, that was the solution, I'm crazy things that happen but it's because the brain is so activated that that's how it works.

Now there may be other reasons, perhaps the desire to win a big prize or to be in a casino celebrating is something that is so desperate that in dreams everything is Possible , in fact it is Said where I live that when one dreams of something, and that something one wants to happen, the dream should not be told to make it come true, in truth I know that they are beliefs, but somehow it fits with all that about dreams and the mysteries that they can bring, others can interpret that I dream as something very big that is about to happen to the person and that it is only a warning of how big it is going to be , so you have to see it in a positive Way , from any point of view it is not something negative, it is something that can be help to get a good Self-esteem.

And when we are in a casino, not because we dream of that, we have to think that we are not going to place big bets to be able to win big as in the dream , because otherwise we could lose everything so we have to know how to Control those things and Obviously it goes together to Emotions.

I don't know why I never dreamed of something like that, especially playing at a land-based casino because I really didn't want to do it and never thought about it because trying something like that was never something I had ever thought about, and playing at an online casino was enough. If you have a strong gambling community and always talk about it and have very active gambling activities it is very possible for you to eventually lead it, because without you knowing your subconscious is always filled with gambling, so you end up dreaming about it, just like when you have played for a long time then your mind will be occupied by all things about gambling such as why not do this or not when you feel you are doing the wrong thing in gambling.

Looks like OP is not able to get out of his gambling habit. Dreaming about playing in a casino surely states how much is his mind occupied because the long hours of dice game. It does happens to everyone whenever you have worked long hours on some job you tend to dream about it. That is why it is always recommended to take a break in between your work. A break act as a refresher, clearing your mind out of job stress.

It seems you are playing dice too hard to get carried away but that's okay @OP.
It is normal if you have a dream that you are playing gambling in a casino because I think people also experience the same thing.
But maybe you need more rest so you don't think about dice games or other gambling games.
I've never dreamed of playing in a casino so that is okay @OP.

It is a fact that what we do a lot in our life or what we think about a lot during the day, we tend to have dreams about that thing more often than other things because our that thing will stay in our mind even when we are sleeping. Some people also say that you tend to have dreams about something you have been thinking before going to sleep, in your case, you probably have been thinking about gambling a lot recently since you have reduced your time.

I don't think there is anything to be worried about that but it is normal for anyone who has been obsessed with something and now when they have left doing it, they can't stop thinking about it. You might face this thing for some time but after that, you will see things getting back to normal again.

I don’t think it’s alarming, and I don’t see anything bad in dreaming about gambling. When you spend much time doing something during the daytime or when you think much about a particular thing, especially before going to bed, then there are high chances of dreaming about it. I don’t really think anything is bad about the dream, just that maybe the person should reduce the way he gambles or think less about gambling activities, and I am sure the dream is going to stop. I don’t really take dreams seriously, I believe we do dream about things that are in our minds, and that’s all.

This happened 6 days ago and on two successive nights I dreamed that I was playing in a casino, I thought I'm spending too much time playing dice games at our fiesta, which usually starts at sunset and finishes before sunrise this is a record for me, it happens when I stopped playing because of the long hours.

I thought it was alarming but doing research online I found out that there's nothing to worry about it's just a relapse dream, it happens when you are trying to shut one habit in this case gambling too much.

Huh. That's a little odd, although the concept of relapse dreams is definitely true. Have you been someone who's addicted to gambling in the past? If so then the research is probably correct, otherwise you're probably just gambling on the daily which isn't necessarily good but not that bad either, and it's come to haunt you in your dreams too. Experienced that back then when I was so big on gambling, they go away after a while especially when you give yourself the chance to not think about it. Putting too much thought on it makes it only come back even more vivid (I can tell cause I've been in the same boat back then). Just focus on your stuff and you should be good to go. Recovery is a long process but as long as you stay true to it you won't have anything to worry.

To be honest, I've never had dreams of me Playing in a casino or something related to gambling activities. It's possible they're relapse dreams, as you mentioned earlier but they might be more common for people who gamble extensively dedicating long hours to it. For those gamblers, gambling becomes their huge interest to focus on and potentially leading to such dreams due to its constant presence in their thoughts.

Imho you tend to dream about things you give a lot of attention to in your waking life. Therefore, taking breaks from time to time might be beneficial in avoiding these types of dreams.
