When our brain focuses too much on what we focus on, it actually creates a fiction in our minds by placing it in our subconscious mind. As a result of this fiction, we start dreaming. It can be about addiction, love or dreaming about something else. I don't remember any dream about gambling, but I was surprised by the interestingness of your dream. It's normal to have a dream like this because of the time you've spent on gambling lately and it's been ingrained in your subconscious, but I don't remember any of my friends who gamble having a dream like this and experiencing it fully. I don't think it's a worrying thing because dreams can have a meaning. It could be that it wants to give you a message, of course, whatever message you want to get.

It shows you have a thing for gambling Grin, most time when we have passion for something we always end up dreaming about it and if you are lucky your dream might transpired into reality, before I made money from crypto I never stopped dreaming about days where I make good amount if money and in those dreams, I was able to improve my standard of living, today it's a dream come true.

It's not just about casino and gambling only, it's general something that happens to everyone, when you like doing something you will start dreaming about it too.

Just make sure you aren't getting addicted  Grin I hope you are not? Because dreams do come true and it's going to be a bad one if you get addicted to gambling in the wrong way, I am addicted to gambling in the right way because I can't do without gambling but I always avoid getting wrecked because of gambling.

This happened 6 days ago and on two successive nights I dreamed that I was playing in a casino, I thought I'm spending too much time playing dice games at our fiesta, which usually starts at sunset and finishes before sunrise this is a record for me, it happens when I stopped playing because of the long hours.

I thought it was alarming but doing research online I found out that there's nothing to worry about it's just a relapse dream, it happens when you are trying to shut one habit in this case gambling too much.

How about you have you experienced dreaming that you are playing in a casino, is this alarming to you?

It seems that you gamble too often and hope too much that you can get a big win or the dreams you experience can come because after you watch gambling movies.  It's just a dream, you don't need to worry, unless you are curious and try the same thing in the dream that you are experiencing, of course it will be a bad start because later it can become a habit if you get comfortable

I did but not too alarming. Yours is outside playing dice? Mine is just sitting on my usual chair in front of the computer. I guess because I have not played poker outside for a long time now. Pandemic effects.
Well, it was not really that clear when I woke up but I know I am playing slots although I cannot remember what game it is or the slot provider.
I think it's because of the two weeks nonstop playing casino games online and that is why it came to my dream one time. I don't really bet high amounts so I don't think it's alarming, it's the lack of sleep that I am more concerned about now. When you have a job and kids to take care of, sleep is really needed to keep the full energy.

Dreaming about casinos is natural when you're a winner like me. If you've been spending your nights gambling, of course it's going to find its way into your subconscious. But let's get something straight - relapse dream? Sounds like a fancy term for "I can't handle the heat." Dreams are just dreams

You went online to research your dreams? How about going online to sharpen those gambling skills instead? It sounds like you're finding reasons to be alarmed rather than understanding the core issue. You either dive into the game or you don't. It's as simple as that. Have I ever dreamt of casinos? Of course, I have! Because winners dream big. But don't use dreams as an excuse or a crutch. Face reality and either commit or quit

If you dreaming you were playing in a casino, it's mean you have a good or bad experience in gambling or you spend most of your time about gambling stuff. I have never dream about playing in a casino, so my experience weren't really remarkable and I use most of my times about cryptocurrency, not in gambling. I think if you keep thinking about gambling, you might want to make money since you can't accept lose.

If you are around your friends too much, you can dream about it. If you play a game without no money on your phone or laptop too much, you can dream about it. You can dream about what you are seeing very well around you. If you gamble, you can think about it and also dream about it at anytime. You may even think you won huge amount of money but woke up to nothing  Grin
It's happened to me before. Maybe it's because I spend too much time everyday around friends and playing together so I get carried away into dreams. In my dream I felt that I won a large amount at the casino I played at.
Not just one type of game, but almost several types of games that I play, always in a winning position which makes me like a gambling king, when I wake up nothing happens. Smiley

I agree. The effects of being around friends who like to gamble and the effects of being too passionate about gambling in everyday life can carry over into dreams.

Dreams like this happen because you are too active in the casino to gamble or it could be because you haven't gambled for a long time and want to go back to the casino so you can play some games or bets but you just don't have the time to do that.
It is normal if there is an activity that we usually do often carried over into dreams because dreams are a sleeping flower and dreams occur because of the way the brain works which responds to what we want so that everything seems clear what we are doing even though at that moment we are in sleeping state.
You don't need to worry about dreams of playing in a casino and let's just say that something like this is just to remind you.

But in some places there are actually those who want to have dreams like that with the aim of being a sign that they will get a big win at gambling, I don't really believe in this, but not a few gamblers do or believe in.
This is a kind of suggestion that cannot be proven in reality and will only affect everyone's beliefs.

I had an operation a while ago and when I woke up from the operation, I apparently asked the nurse if I was at the casino. I think it was all those machines beeping around me and also because I were playing at Stake.com in the hours that I had to wait for the operation to be done. (playing on my mobile phone)  Roll Eyes

We humans are designed to process things in the sub conscience part of our brain, while we are sleeping... so whatever you have been doing before you sleep, will end up being processed during your dreams. (Try playing Tetris or Chess for hours before you sleep... and see what happens in your dreams)  Grin

[....] is this alarming to you?
Not something like yours but I once dreamt of an incomplete number combinations and I still remember them to this day. I didn't think of it negatively and actually used those numbers buying a lottery ticket instead hehe. Some people say dreams are like a message or something like that so it probably doesn't hurt to put some thought into it.

It may look alarming because people seldom remember their dreams but if you remember your dream about a particular subject then it's a subconscious mind trying to convey something in your conscious mind, you've done the right thing checking what this dream is all about.

It turns out there's nothing to worry about, many people do not know how to address this issue now we know its a relapse dream when you are in a withdraw process of one habit.

I've never dreamed of playing in a casino but if it happened, I don't think I would worry because it was just a dream. But in reality, until now I still often play gambling even though it is an online casino.

Maybe you longed to play in casinos until you dreamed about it. Moreover, you said that you stopped playing because of long working hours. This longing arises because you don't play gambling at the casino as usual, so a desire arises from your subconscious that makes you dream of playing at a casino.

So you don't need to worry about that dream. If you want to play gambling at the casino again, you can come to the casino and play for a while. But remember to keep playing in moderation because you will usually spend your time gambling at the casino longer than usual after not playing for some time.

To be honest I'm not a dream expert. However, my response will be based on my personal opinion.
Maybe that's basically why you're dreaming, in my opinion. I see there is a desire in dreams, and your mind processes it through your own dream and when you are gambling there is a desire to win money or something else at some point. And maybe without realizing it you have imagined that you are playing in a casino where you can win prizes in the adventure games you like, dreams only mean what your mind wants and can cause you to dream about a place that can give you that experience.

I've experienced that, but not in a casino. At that time, without realizing it, I missed playing gambling with my friends for fun. Because we already have our own busyness that makes this activity no longer exist, and missing it makes my dream of sleeping enjoyable.

Based on the article OP provided this happens when you are in a withdrawing stage of your gambling when you are doing something for many hours I have experienced this one and that was a long time ago when I was just starting to gamble, our brain is telling is to moderate our action.
I guess understanding this relapse dream is a signal that we are in a stage where we want that habit to be in control, many players are unaware of this they treat it as natural but in truth, it's telling us something.

I cannot remember having one, but I don't think that's alarming. Dreams aren't alarming. They're just dreams, after all. Whatever happened in your dreams doesn't have to happen in real life. And what's wrong with having a dream that you're playing in a casino? That must be a sweet dream.

This is probably just some kind of a withdrawal syndrome. If you are heavily into a certain activity and then you quit from it, perhaps it will haunt you in some ways, probably in your dreams sometimes.

This is the kind of dream that I have never had. But I know people take dreams about gambling really serious, as they were signals coming to them through the inconscious. A long time ago, kids were put to sleep early, so on the next day parents immediately asked them about their dreams.

If they mentioned to have dreamed with a determined animal, the father or mother would go instantly to the closest betting house to place a guess on the "animals game" (a kind of lottery, but instead of numbers, you pick animals).

Such dreams haven't come. Myself have dreamt of being super rich gambling. This happened years back when I was able to make good win on each and every roll. The capital is very small and I was very lucky that every roll on Dice used to be a win. Finally I started to go with big money, even those were win. Beyond certain point I was out of control and looked for fast money increasing the bet value. During those days I used to dream myself being rich through gambling. The reality happened within few days losing everything, even the capital.

Haven't really had this dream, ever, but I agree that if you’re trying to break a habit that you’ve been doing for too long, you’ll really get this kind of relapses and sudden thoughts about that exact same habit. I guess you really need to take a step back or get a new habit that is less destructive - or as much as possible, non-destructive - for you to move forward and leave gambling for good. It's a really hard thing to do, but I guess it's doable with proper support and determination to get out of the cycle.

I've only experienced it once, but mine was in an online casino because I used to play slots and other casino games frequently during that time. I wouldn't mind having a dream like that again because I remember winning something big in that dream.  Grin

I'm not that concerned if I get these dreams multiple times because I already have rules and limitations for my gambling activities and i'm aware if i'm going too far.

How about you have you experienced dreaming that you are playing in a casino, is this alarming to you?

It might be as a result of the discussion you have been engaging with cause the brain works like that sometimes after a long day when we retire to bed when tend to dream about the things that happened to us during the day or that we did the most during that week.

I have dreamt about being in a casino and spending some some money and at the end I always win I don’t think there have been a time I have ever lost or did something bad in my dream, and because of that I mostly take it with a grain of salt. Some could think that dreaming about a casino could have some kind of a latent impact but to me I feel they’re are just as a result of what we have experienced.
