It is ironic. People from the states have to wait for these tokens to be listed, and they buy it at a higher USD value. I think it’s going to take some time for cryptocurrency and it’s use in US and some other countries to be regulated.

Well right now a lot is going on in the sphere and I believe the regulations needed yo ensure fairness is not fully implemented so we are going to see a lot of this stuffs

The IRS recently published a document guide to cryptocurrency holders/investors on crypto taxes. Here’s a link if you might want to take a look; https://coincenter.org/files/crypto-tax.pdf. I think there are basic rules, and investors who keep these rules should have nothing to be afraid of. You should always pay your taxes, it doesn’t matter what brings the income.

Dreamr is an awesome blockchain app, where any dreamer could work on their dreams with people with similar interests. I guess this is the first social media app built on ethereum blockchain where dreamers get connected to work together. There’re more than a thousand use case I could literally think of right now.

I was thinking, would there be a use case for Dreamr App Project outside the cryptocurrency/blockchain ecosystem? Would non coiners and people not interested in cryptocurrency find Dreamr App any useful like we do with Facebook and fiverr?

The thing is, so long as you're offering something of value, you stand a chance of becoming known and accepted, though there's still much to be done in the blockchain industry but if we continue to see projects that tends to create sustainable value, then people will come in from the conventional system and gradually accept the blockchain industry, its still a long way to go

The dreamr project is basically a blockchain inspired project which uses cryptocurrency as its medium of payment and settlement of debt. It's possible to use the platform without cryptocurrency and blockchain knowledge, but to appreciate the full functionality of the platform, it's easier with cryptocurrency knowledge.

The fact that investors from USA have to wait for the project to get listed before they can purchase some tokens has some positive implications to the project and the cryptocurrency space in general. Due to the volatility of the market, it may be out of place to say that the tokens would be purchased at a higher value after listing, reverse could also be the case.

Am not certain of how the dreamr project would operate in totality, so my position is at best an opinion. From the information which I've read over time on the dreamr project, I can say that everyone, irrespective of their cryptocurrency and blockchain knowledge would find the dreamr platform interesting.

I believe the major goal of the government authorities of USA is to prevent their citizens from investing in scam projects which were ones rampant in the cryptocurrency industry. In a situation where the authorities perceive a scam free environment for cryptocurrency, these protective measures may be reviewed or rescind.

I can’t tell what might have been the issue or how this works, but why the restrictions to US investors in DRMR STEO tokens sales? I guessed since it was a SEC approved, US Investors shouldn’t be restricted from the opportunity.

I think US residents still buy these tokens, it's just not from the on going IEO. It might be dur to exchange not in US or something? I think US residents should contact project and they will let them know the way to buy these tokens.

Yes, but there are no options made available to the Americans now by the Dreamr team. I think they aren’t allowed to buy not because of the exchange, but for some other reasons. I think it’s best they wait for Dreamr to get listed and buy.

I think one of the major reason why US citizens are not allowed from most projects is the rules that govern them, not like the project made it so, they can always get such after it has been made available on exchanges, its just for the project to be on the safe side and not fall victim to the laws of the stated citizen's country, its really a complicated process

I agree with you, most projects prevent the citizens of some countries from participating in their tokensales to avoid the wrath of their government authorities. This explains why in several occasions we find that the citizens of USA, China, etc are prevented from participating in tokensales.

Yea and funny enough they have high number of citizens from the specified area participating in the cryptocurrency industry, most top project reviewers are also from the US but they usually add a disclaimer before they start one, how ironic, well i just hope to see a situation where all these will be left behind and total acceptance of all will be done in the industry

It would be much beautiful to have total acceptance of all countries in the world to participate in the cryptocurrency space, but we need to get things right before that could be achieved. Due to the prevalence of scam incidence on the space, it's very difficult to trust that everything would go smoothly.

If you are having issues with by passing KYC for IDCM Tokens sales. This article could come in handy https:/[Suspicious link removed]/zzvhs1ubGn?amp=1

Ok. Thanks for the link. I hope IDCM and most other exchanges fix the issues with KYC. I think it’s going to get more complicated in the future once cryptocurrency gets the much anticipated regulation.

Not necessarily @ an higher amount tho. Sometimes the prices fall greatly, other times it stays same. Really hard to come across tokensales that stay up after sales. Been long I saw one.

I can’t argue, but I think IEO is different. The market seems to be more favorable to IEO projects. I’ll say that’s because they seem to have the support of the exchange team and exchange community. DRMR sales on IDCM is the first STEO. That’s somewhat special and has the potential to do better than IEO projects. I’m pretty sure US and investors from other restricted countries won’t be happy missing out of this amazing opportunity.

Hey guys. Has the STO started? If yes, what's the update on it. Is there a daily update on how it is going?

The STEO started since the 1st of October, I can say it's been going smoothly as there's no indication of anything otherwise. The team hasn't been giving periodic updates on the amount raised but I believe its been receiving sufficient attention from investors. Though more can still be done as regards the advertising and marketing of the tokens.

Alright. Going by this report I guess the STEO is going on smoothly. A representative of Dreamr ought to be here as well.

I agree with you regarding the presence of the dreamr representative needed in this thread, but I must confess that the representative has been here for a while and made several posts in the past. I guess the representative is away due to some unavoidable responsibility.

I found a new announcement on Dreamr medium of a roadmap of the Dreamr project. You should check it out; https://drea.mr/2MnVBVI. Its great to know Dreamr has a roadmap and Dreamr investors would know what to expect.

The road map of dreamr is quite helpful especially to the potential users of the platform. I wasn't aware that the features would be integrated into the dreamr app in bits. Before now, I was thinking that upon launching the platform, all the features would be in place, but now I know what to expect and when to expect each feature as promised by the dreamr project.

That’s right. The Dreamr social, Dreamr crowdfunding and p2p marketplace sounds like a lovely idea. I can’t wait to try em out once the reimagined Dreamr 1.0 is out.
Btw how do I get an invite to the Dreamr beta version.

The app testing has been completed for a while now and I remember some community members were contracted to help with the app testing on both the android and iOS version. From the information I got from the Admin, the app is expected to be released for public use by December this year. Its expected that both the android and the ios version would be released same period.

Yes, that's true. I remember the app would be released in two months time. Am of the opinion that the app would be a vocal point for accessing the dreamr platform. Dreams can always be achieved with the awesome features of the app.

It seems Investors are having a hard time with registration and KYC process on IDCM exchange. The Dreamr team is trying to fix that, and I guess that’s why they have more time to invest. The STEO doesn’t stop until 31 October or still DRMR tokens are sold out.
Here’s a link to a step by step guide on using IDCM; https://drea.mr/2LJHRFK
That’s all I got. I think you can visit Dreamr app website to find out how much have been sold so far.

I knew issues like this would emanate during the tokensale. Investors were encouraged to register and complete their kyc long before the commencement of the token sale at IDCM exchange but many preferred to wait till the dieing moment to complete their kyc and now they're complaining of difficulty. In my opinion, the difficulty they experience is as a result of the high volume of people carrying out the kyc simultaneously.

Your opinion is quite logical, but the issue is that the period for tokensales is quite limited. Investors need to make their investment before the end of the month and they have less than 3 weeks to go. I would advise that the exchange hasten up their process to ensure that the investors make the purchases before the end of the month.
